So today i Just wanted to talk about the first real concern or wall I had to overcome, and this is before i even started doing door to door. Today its all about Is this real? is it a scam?
its normal to think its crazy the amount of money we earn during the summer, I mean $23k is a lot of money for most college students and I felt the same way when I first heard about the job. Obviously i found out for myself the money was real, and i'm glad I took that chance. which is why i'm telling all of you about the opportunity door to door has.
Now one of the best ways i was able to describe this to someone who is interested in doing a door to door job this summer is to think of this like a big boy job people hope to get after college. we make a normal wage, its just prorated down because we only work a few months. instead of making $60k a year we all make around $20k working very hard for a full summer. I assume you expect to make when your finally done with college. the great thing about sales is you don't actually have to have a degree to be successful or earn that kind of money.
When they open the door, people don't know if your a doctorate or a high school drop out and because we don't need degrees we don't have to wait to make the big bucks until after we graduate. Think about it, in any industry the sales people and executives are the ones who make the most amount of money. If im developing a skill set as valuable as sales, and working the amount of hours we are, I better be getting paid decent money. in fact we are almost underpaid when you think of it like that. its certainly a huge difference from making $12 an hour which is why its so hard for people to wrap their heads around it.
