Freedom from False GuiltKey Verses: Colossians 2:11-15 - NLT

Because of Christ's death:- We are clean and free from the old sinful nature.

• Baptised - having died with Christ and risen to new life.

• God forgives our sin from the moment of faith in Christ.

• God cancels our condemnation, nailing it to the cross.

• The powers of evil can no longer use the Law against us.

Handling guilt:- Firstly, own up with sorrow and repentance.

• Accept the penalty imposed by the law.

• As far as possible make restitution.

• Learn from your sin and change your behaviour.

• Bring the burden to the cross and ask forgiveness.

• Claim the reality of Hebrews 9:14 and 10:22
