Come June 16th we'll be commemorating the 1976 student uprising. With this in mind a new programme aimed at empowering the students of 2022 is being launched in Cape Town today. The Step Up 2 A Green Start-Up National Youth Green Entrepreneurship Programme uses cinemas as theatres of learning to show young people what the green economy has to offer them. At Cavendish Square this morning two Cape Town schools are watching a screening of  Karabo’s Kitchen, which is the first step in the four-pronged programme.
