Happy Labor Day everyone! Little do some of you know, but Laura nursed me back to health after I had my wisdom teeth yanked out this past Thursday. It was my first time EVER going to the dentist. Surprisingly, I’m recovering rather well and I feel almost back to normal. Laura and I did some bargain hunting for a 3 piece sofa set and scored a crazy deal.

Quite the weekend we had! Although, we could have used one more day to do absolutely nothing. Laura and I went to watch Captain Marvel today as well as go for a bite to eat at a great bar-b-q place called Whitner’s. Today was unusually warm, which called our attention to be outside. Springing forward is tough, especially when your sleep becomes affected.

We recently watched the movie “Roma”, which has won numerous awards during the Oscars; where my heart strings were being pulled. I discuss a surprise promotion that I received at my job and rant about the effects of sun, alcohol, and cigarettes on your aging process.

We made a visit to a few restaurants in light of Virginia Beach’s annual restaurant week, where we discuss the foods we had.
