Not all messes are avoidable. Life is messy, and some of the messes we find ourselves in were beyond our control. At the same time, some messes we could and should avoid. But following Jesus isn’t about avoiding something; it’s about becoming someone. The goal is to grow in spiritual maturity, and the method is to abound in love.
