I can do ANYTHING I WANT and Christ will give me the strength to do it?  Is that the point this verse is making.  Does it have anything to do with fleshly accomplishments, especially as it is used in the sports arena?  Does Jesus really enable certain Christians to run a football into the endzone or hit a homerun, and not others.  Is He a respector of persons or teams?  Listen to this casual conversation regarding the relevant context of this often misapplied verse.
