Former Disney University leader and author Pete Blank recently attended and presented at the 2021 International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He shares five important lessons from this conference this week:

• Influence - we can influence others at in-person events
• Inspiration - we can be inspired at these events
• Interactions - we need human interaction
• Interesting Places - we can travel to places we would not go on our own
• Importance - we add to the local economy by attending in-person events
