Pastor Jonathan Stobbs considers how the people identified in this psalm continued in the externals of religion, but did not know God. They disregarded the Word and pursued a religion which suited them but which would ruin them. The only religion that saves is to be reconciled to God through a living faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
