As the Delta variant rages through the population, vaccine demand is increasing since its initial debut in late winter to early spring. Many have heard the transmissibility of this variant and are not taking changes, so they are scheduling appointments as soon as possible.

Donna Skoda is the commissioner of the Summit County Health Department, and she joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to touch on the demand for those vaccines, which are free and readily available at the health department for those interested. While no vaccine is 100%, Skoda still urges those who have yet to get the jab to do so, as they will be better protected against serious illness than those who have not been inoculated.
