One of the most viable areas in the Greater Akron area has been the Merriman Valley. From its location to the hiking, the businesses to the remote feel, there is something for everyone, and that has not gone unnoticed.

Jason Segedy is the director of planning and urban development in the city of Akron, and he joined Jeanne Destro on WAKR, who is filling in for the vacationing Ray Horner. Segedy talked about the partnership between Akron and neighboring Cuyahoga Falls to help better develop the area.
