Though originally taught in Koinonia, the same address was delivered in sermon form to the congregation at Landmark. 

"In this episode, we begin our exploration of Jesus' strong interaction with Nicodemus in John 3. Rather than exchanging pleasantries with the high ranking pharisee, Jesus challenged him that he needed a birth which he could contribute nothing to. Nicodemus needed to be born from above."

Truth #1: There are two types of faith and belief presented throughout Scripture. One that saves; one that damns.

Truth #2: Salvation is entirely a work of God. The only thing we contribute to our salvation is the sin that made it necessary.

Truth #3: The smug pride of Legalism, which attempts to garner merit before God by our good works, prevents one from salvation.
