**Working with paraprofessionals can be one of the best and hardest things about being a special education teacher and that’s why I use the Sped Prep Academy platform to focus on it so much.
But it can be particularly hard when you're a newer teacher and working in a classroom that has experienced paraprofessionals. It can feel weird to give a para instructions, directions and guidance if the para has more classroom experience than you or if the para is significantly older than you.

On today’s episode, Becca Noble shares how she managed to get through those first hard years as a new special education teacher and shares tips for you to get through tough times as well.Join Becca and I in the Sped Prep Academy® Facebook Group
