Marcus was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. As he prospered in his military career, he settled down South in Montgomery, AL where he eventually met Zion. Zion was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She works at a Regionally located bank and is the founder of a non-profit organization named Mothers and Daughters. One day she decided to ignite her love for Chicago Style Stepping so in October 2012, she headed to Montgomery to practice the dance. Neither of them knew how much their lives would change for the better.
The more they trusted God to guide them, the more their lives intermingled until they realized they were a match made in heaven... destined to become one.
