God had placed Adam in the garden to tend to it. In other words, we were created to have purpose through our work. At the beginning, however, the work was not difficult or laborious. For Adam, tending the garden would have been fulfilling, joy-filled, and abundantly fruitful. So what happened? Why can’t we say the same about our work today?
