Lauren Mahon is a writer, podcaster and cancer survivor. To change the perception that cancer is a disease for the over fifties, Lauren created the hashtag #GIRLvsCANCER. Her work has tackled taboos, creating a better understanding of the challenges facing those diagnosed with cancer in their 20’s and 30’s.
