David Atherton is a food writer and presenter. In 2019 he won baking competition The Great British Bake Off, and has gone on to write a fortnightly Guardian column and appear on Blue Peter as a guest chef. David also holds a masters’ degree in public health, and has taught at major universities on HIV and malaria.
