God is pure, holy, righteous, and full of love, grace, and compassion. Thankfully through Jesus Christ and the wonderful work of the Spirit of God within us, we have received this awesome divine nature!

In Ephesians 5:1-21, Paul teaches the believers in Christ how to live out this new nature. We are invited to “be imitators of God as dear children” and to “walk in love as Christ loved us”. This means staying away from all kinds of sinful habits and instead choosing to walk as “children of light”; no longer bound to the works of darkness.

Let’s find out this Sunday how we can experience (individually and corporately) a true, meaningful life, as we seek to understand God’s will and pursue the constant infilling of the Spirit.
