What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wrote this novel in the hopes of inspiring children to never be afraid to speak up when they know something is wrong. To never be afraid to protect yourself and those you love. Never let someone bully you into something.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
My husband I were talking about various Gads (Gods) and Dieties. How they all still live in various places and forms, the inspiration behind where they live, etc. I wanted to tell a story of slavery, but make it fiction so it could be entertaining while still giving a life lesson. I thought of how strong and brave our people are, but added a little fiction to the story.

Nirjin laughed and said:
My entire realm, let alone my planet, isn't anywhere NEAR
good enough for us. We want more. But, I would rather
have someone else do all the work while we relax. Your
people work hard to preserve your home and protect each
other. By us taking over, it'll be a win-win situation. We get
your home and you'll be my Brown Imps. It'll be perfect!
Nirjin, Khyra and Thorus engaged in battle. Many elders were captured. The children escaped into the tunnel below the castle. Khyrus stayed behind underneath the hidden door to watch their fight. He didn't want his home to be in Nirjin's control. He wanted everyone to be happy. Live the way they always have. Not have a leader who's only for himself. Khyrus watches with heart band tears full of anger as Nirjin defeats his parents. The worst has happened. He makes his way to the underground temple with heartbreaking news.
