In this episode we unpack a lot of issues with regard to how women are encouraged, uplifted and celebrated in the Armenian community. The fact of the matter is we do more to endorse the same folks all the time and if you don’t know or aren’t related to them, you’re out of luck! It’s time to diversify. Also up for discussion today is how we need to put the Armenian women first in the April 24th protest for justice marches everywhere! We brought these important people who you promote so well repetitiously, so we can honor the mothers but putting them in the box seats too! After all it’s well known that women and children were the ones who suffered on the deportation caravans and we should be honored as such.
