The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma

We are going to examine fear. Fear isn't bad, it is a good response to keep you safe. It is living in fear that causes the issues, not acknowledging the fear or letting it control you when things get overwhelming. Therefore, looking at what is fear, how do we respond to fear, how is fear still controlling us today. What our beliefs are on fear, will help us move forward. Remember you are in control, and be patient with yourself. I am proud of you.

What do we do when fear takes over. ask yourself these questions:

  1. Why: Why am I responding this way
  2. What: What has happened to trigger my fear
  3. Who: Who has the power here?
