On Liverpool Live today, Mick was joined by Sam, a local resident originally from Malaysia, now facing deportation back to his home country, where he risks discrimination and violence due to being part of the LGBT+ community. He was joined by Miranda Threllfall-Holmes, who spoke of her efforts to secure Sam's residency in the UK.
