Welcome to the The Humanitarian Self-Care Podcast, a newly created show by and for humanitarian aid workers to provide a safe space for discussion and reflection about all things wellbeing, self-care (for ourselves and others), and a compassionate culture in the aid sector.
While we work hard to improve the lives of the people we serve, it can be easy to forget to care for ourselves. Over time this can have a detrimental impact on our wellbeing and mental health. It is time to be part of the change towards a more caring, nurturing and compassionate aid and development sector where we feel confident that we can care for ourselves and others while performing well in our jobs.
Join our host Iris Adira in this fortnightly podcast to create a community of fellow humanitarians where we can feel good while doing good!
