Every individual has insecurities. There are those that we may be working on cos we are fully aware of them, and yet there are those insecurities that we are yet to uncover. Being attentive/sensitive to the subtle reactions by ourselves or others could reveal these hidden ones. Crossing such lines when interacting with others, contributes mainly to stifled relationships. This session spells out the three (classic) reactions to expect when someone crossed that line with you or if you touched on the insecurities of others.
The episode that gives insight into the perception of success to the average young Ghanaian woman. Results from a survey carried out are presented and interpreted to give better meaning to the great strides made in Ghana with regards to gender equality and women empowerment. It is evident that success means different things to each person and thus comparisons that place undue pressure on us women to achieve should be discouraged. There’s more left to be done; till we get to the point where women achieving success is utterly normalized in our society.
