There were two prodigal sons in the true story that the Lord Jesus told as He was emphasizing how greatly the salvation of one single soul is celebrated in the Kingdom of God. Both sons had serious problems that are exemplified in the church of today.
Damaged by trusted spiritual leadership can leave us in a tailspin. That's not where God the Father wants us to be. He has great plans for us if we have been damaged by a pastor, church elders, brothers or sisters in the body of Christ, or leaders of Christian ministries.
What can we, as believers of the rule of Jesus over all, do in response to the evils of today in this USA, and what can we expect God to do?

Jesus called the Father, Abba, which is like children today saying Daddy. Jesus is the perfect representation of God, our Father. In that representation of God, Jesus was and is the most joyful man that ever lived. So it follows that our God and Father is full of joy, so let's learn to see Him for who He is.
How God wants us to rely on Jesus as we face the future, even persecution. And, a warning against misplaced "rapture" mentality.
God is the God who forgives, through Jesus sacrifice...so who is it that keeps reminding us of our sins...?

Are you and I supposed to evidence the same fear that we see in those around us who do not know Christ? Absolutely not!!!
More directions on being faithful in reading and meditating on God's word, the Bible. Examples of correcting false assumptions regarding the misquoted phrase: "as a (man) thinks in his heart so is he" and correcting the false assumption of Jesus portrayal as a sourpuss or otherworldly mystic instead of being the most down to earth and joyful man of all time.
Today we look at whether God the Father deserted Jesus on the cross, or whether, in fact, God remained faithful during the most critical hours of Jesus' life. The answer is right there in Psalm 22.
Tithing is based on the Old Testament and is not the higher plane God has for the Covenant bought for us by Jesus Christ on the cross.
Lets look at why I believe this...
There are two ways to follow Jesus, with varying results and outcomes. One is to look at scripture and pick out something to do to serve God. The other is to open ourselves up to the leading of the Holy Spirit. In this episode, we see Peter doing the first, while Jesus does the second.
God doesn't want us worrying,fretting, being anxious or afraid. He imparts peace and joy and leads us to the place of counting it all joy! Even covid!
