Welcome to Learning By Doing. This podcast is about the process. About exploring people and exploring their development personally, creatively, and professionally. Each week, my cohost and I bring people on to talk about how they got to where they are, where they failed, and what they're going to do to keep going.
In this episode, we sit down and talk with an old teammate from my early days of football who kept his nose to the grindstone and is on his way to the NFL. We talked about the steps he had to take to become an NCAA division 1 starter, the things that happened throughout his time in college, and his current plans for the undetermined upcoming season and the future. We also talk about his involvement with the BLM movement and the role he holds as a student-athlete in these hard times.

In this episode, we brought on a specialist in a field that we've never heard about. Kristina is a Music Therapist with a background in piano performance and a very interesting path through school. We discuss what is music therapy, how she found out about the program, and what hurdles she had to go through to get to that position. On top of that, we hit on some of the problems that her experience in university revealed and what she learned from it.
