Weâre back for the next chapter of our journey through the Gospel of John!
In Part Five of Abide in His Love, weâll dive into John 14â17 â some of the most intimate, powerful words Jesus ever spoke. These are His final teachings to the disciples before His Passion⌠and theyâre meant for us, too.
What does it really mean to remain in Christ?
How do we bear lasting fruit in our everyday lives?
What does Jesus tell us about the Holy Spirit, obedience, and friendship with God?
Join Jenna and Steph for a live Bible study as we unpack Jesusâ Farewell Discourse and High Priestly Prayer, learning together how to stay rooted in love, prayer, and purpose.
Grab your Bible, invite a friend, and letâs abide in Him.
Abide in His Love: Gospel of John, Part IV
Jesus tells us He is the Good Shepherd, and we are His sheep.
This week, weâll lean into the humility and trust required to follow His voice. Weâll rest in the truth that He knows us by name, cares for us tenderly, and leads us safely where we need to go.
Join us next Tuesday for Part 5 at 1pmET on our YouTube channel!
Abide in His Love: Gospel of John, Part III
Sometimes God is at work in ways we cannot yet see.
In this session, weâll dive into the story of the man born blind and discover how Jesus brings sight, faith, and clarity in His timing. Together, weâll find encouragement for those seasons when His hand feels hidden but His presence is near.
John 7-9 will be covered.
Join us Tuesdays at 1pm LIVE on YouTube as we journey through The Gospel of John together virtually.
Abide in His Love: Gospel of John, Part II
In Johnâs Gospel, we encounter seekers like Nicodemus and the Samaritan womanâpeople who came to Jesus with doubts, curiosity, and honest questions.
This week, weâll explore John 4-6 and what it means to bring our questions to Christ and how He meets us with truth, patience, and love.
Join us next Tuesday at 1pm ET on â YouTubeâ for Part III!
The world feels heavy right now. There is heartache and pain and suffering, and, with that, a renewed searching. There is a people searching for answers, for clarity, for truth, for hope.
People are hungry. They're hungry for hope. They're hungry to believe. They're hungry for a life worth living for. They're hungry for a love worth dying for.
They may not know it yet, but they're hungry for Jesus.
And it's our time to tell the world about Him. It's our time to reignite the missionary heart that is within each one of us by way of His Holy Spirit. It's our time to set the world on fire with the love of Jesus, the truth of His life, death, and resurrection, the power of a love that poured out to save the world from death forever.
Not all of us are called to be missionaries in foreign countries or to speak from stages (although thanks be to God for the ones who are), but all of us can bring the love of Jesus to the people right in front of us. At the grocery store. At school pickup. Around the dinner table. Online. At work. Right where we are.
Abide in His Love: Gospel of John, Part I
From water turned into wine to lives completely transformed, the Gospel of John reminds us that Jesus still works miracles.
In this first session discussing John 1-3, weâll reflect on how Christ reveals His glory through signs and wonders, both in Scripture and in our own lives today. Come ready to notice the miraculous ways God is moving.
Join us every Tuesday at 1pm ET on our YouTube channel for the next 6 weeks for a virtual Bible study on the Gospel of John using our newest Scripture Study: Abide In His Love.
Weâre beginning a brand new journey together through the Gospel of John! This introduction session will set the stage for our time of study and prayer using Abide in His Love, Blessed is Sheâs meditation on John.
Together with Jenna and Steph, weâll discover what it really means to âabideâ in Jesus; remaining with Him in the ordinary and the extraordinary, in joy and in struggle.
Come ready to open your heart to Scripture, grow in friendship with Christ, and walk alongside sisters who are seeking the same.

Mary, Martha, and Lazarus were siblings, each with their own personality, their own way of loving Jesus, and likely their own tensions. And yet, Jesus called them His friends. In this final session of the series, weâll reflect on what it means to embrace the differences among us and to stay in relationship even when things get complicated.
Sisterhood isnât about agreeing on everything, itâs about choosing to see Christ in the other, again and again.
Have you ever felt tension in your friendships or struggled to connect with someone whoâs just different? How can we honor the dignity of someone we find difficult to understand?
Join the convo at the Weekly Visit every Tuesday at 1pm ET in the BIS Member Community!
Friendship is beautifulâbut itâs also messy. Feelings get hurt. Expectations go unmet. We misunderstand each other. But as weâll reflect on the life of Mary Magdaleneâa woman who experienced both profound mercy and fierce loyaltyâweâll consider how grace and forgiveness can be the bridge that keeps us connected even in conflict.
This is where real sisterhood grows: not in perfection, but in love that chooses to stay.
Is there a friendship in your life that feels strained, broken, or uncertain? Is there someone you need to extend grace toâor someone you need to ask forgiveness from?
Join us every Tuesday at 1 pm ET for The Weekly Visit on the BIS Member Community!
Real friendships are rarely instant. Sometimes we assume that if it doesnât âclickâ right away, itâs not meant to beâbut sisterhood is often built slowly, through shared stories, laughs, and even a few awkward silences. This week, weâll talk about letting go of the pressure for immediate depth and instead embracing the sacred rhythm of friendship that takes root over time.
Come if youâve been wondering how to go deeper in your relationshipsâor why it still feels like everyone is a stranger.
Ask yourself: Am I allowing the Holy Spirit to do the slow, steady work of building something lasting?
Join us LIVE every Tuesday at 1pm ET for The Weekly Visit on the BIS Member Community!
Youâve met someone at church, an event, or even in your DMsâand there's a spark of connection. But how do you go from âWe should hang outâ to actually building a group that lasts? In this conversation, weâll demystify the process of starting a small group: what to say, how to plan, and most importantly, how to lead from a place of gentleness and joy. Itâs not about being perfect or polishedâitâs about being present.
Come if: youâve been feeling the nudge to lead something... but need help knowing where to begin. What would you love to experience in a small groupâand how could you help create that for others? Yes, Y-O-U !

As baptized followers of Christ, we are all called to be missionaries! This week, we reflect on what it means to live as missionaries in our everyday livesâwhether at home, work, or in our communities. Jesus' Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) invites us to go out and make disciples, but it also calls us to live in a way that reflects the love and hope of the Gospel. How can we embrace our mission to share Christ with others, simply by the way we live?
How can we be intentional in sharing our faith with othersâwhether through words, actions, or simply living in virtue? What challenges do you face in living out your faith in a world that can sometimes feel distant from God?
Together, letâs inspire one another to live as missionaries right where we are.

The resurrection of Jesus is not just an event that happened once; itâs the foundation of our daily life in Christ. This week, weâre reflecting on what it means to live in the newness of the resurrection every single day. How can we embrace the transformative power of Jesusâ victory over death, allowing it to shape the way we live, love, and hope?
Jesusâ resurrection brought new life, not just for Him, but for all of us. How do you experience the power of the resurrection in your own life? How can we make resurrection a daily reality in our hearts, minds, and actions?
How can we allow God to breathe new life into those places where we feel stuck, tired, or discouraged?
This week, letâs reflect on the daily reality of living the resurrectionâhow it transforms our hearts, minds, and actions. Letâs encourage each other to embrace the newness Christ offers and help one another walk in the freedom and hope of His resurrection every day.
Jesus calls us to follow Himânot just in the moments that are easy or comfortable, but wherever He leads. This week, weâre reflecting on what it means to truly remain with Jesus, to walk beside Him through both the joys and the challenges of life. How can we trust Him enough to follow wherever He goes, knowing He is always with us?
What does it mean to you to "remain with Jesus"? How do you stay close to Him in your day-to-day life? What role does prayer, accountability, or friendship play in helping us remain faithful to His call?
As we gather this week, letâs reflect on the deeper invitation of following Jesusânot just when it's convenient, but always. Letâs encourage each other to remain close to Him and to trust Him with every step, knowing He will never leave us.
Letâs chat about what it means to walk with Jesus, wherever He leads.
In a world full of distractions, it can be challenging to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. This week, weâre focusing on reclaiming our attentionâshifting our gaze from the noise around us to the presence of Christ. How can we, as women of faith, actively choose where to direct our focus and bring our hearts back to what truly matters?
What are some of the biggest distractions in your life that pull your attention away from God? How do you recognize when your focus has shifted? How do you remind yourself to stay present with Jesus, especially when life feels busy or scattered?
As we gather together, letâs reflect on the ways we can reclaim our attention and focus our hearts on Christ. Letâs share tips, wisdom, and encouragement for supporting each other in this pursuit, knowing that even small steps can bring us closer to Jesus.
Weâre focusing on making space for growth and renewal in our spiritual lives. Just as we clean out our homes to welcome the fresh air of spring, we are invited to do the same for our souls. How can we clear away distractions, old wounds, or unhealthy habits to make room for Jesus to work in us?
Whatâs one area of your life where you feel called to "declutter" or let go of something that is holding you back spiritually? It could be a thought pattern, an old hurt, or a particular distraction.
In this episode, Beth and I share about our experience of trust & betrayal and the pain that can come from that. We also share vulnerably about sexual sin and shame and hope for the restoration of our innocence.

Lent is a season of growth, but itâs not about rushing or overwhelming ourselves. Itâs about slowing down, being intentional, and allowing God to transform us at a steady pace. In a world that constantly urges us to move faster, Lent invites us to cultivate peace in our hearts, trusting that spiritual growth comes through patience and persistence.
Let's chat about the need to Slow Down During Lent, how to recognize Peace in the Midst of Daily Life, and of course practicing patience and trust in God's timing.
What are some practical Ways to live Slow and Steady? How can we rely on Godâs grace to strengthen our hearts and minds, especially when we feel like weâre not moving fast enough?
As we reflect on how we can cultivate a peaceful, steady heart during Lent, we invite you to share your thoughts and experiences!! What are some small steps youâre taking to embrace the slow and steady rhythm of grace this season?
In our busy, always-connected lives, it can be hard to find moments of true silenceâyet itâs in silence that we can hear Godâs voice and deepen our relationship with Him.
Join us for this Q&A as we discuss the power of silence in our spiritual lives, practical ways to turn down the volume (bye-bye apps?), the gift of solitude - and we get it, sometimes it feels more like a curse than a gift!
We will also look into breaking free from distractions and dare we say it, living out silence as a family (or with our loved ones).
As always, we want to hear your thoughts and experiences of embracing the stillness. How can we âturn down the volumeâ in our lives this Lent to hear God more clearly and grow deeper in faith?
Lent is a season of reflection, repentance, and renewal, but itâs also a time when distractions and temptations can seem to multiply. As we prepare to walk with Christ through His Passion and Resurrection, letâs talk about how we can stay focused and faithful during this sacred time.
Let's dive into overcoming common distractions, understanding temptation during Lent, practical tips for staying committed and of course, finding strength in community.

Once we are convicted to love fully and the way Christ modeled it for us, howwww do we actually live this out with patience and trust in God's timing?
There's an older saying (and song) that says "only fools rush in" but if love requires patience, how do we slow down and let the story unfold? Again, we turn to the Lord to teach us how to live this love out.

Okay, but how do we love when the feelings simply aren't there? How can we move past negative feelings of anger, frustration, betrayal, etc.? Is it even possible or worth it?
The Lord will do a work in our hearts if we simply let Him. And yes, it is possible to love even when we don't feel like it. Let us learn from one another (and ultimately Jesus!) on how we can achieve this.

Change is _________. (fill in the blank)
Whether it's exciting, refreshing, terrifying or uncomfortable, the important thing to remember is that our openness to change is a reflection of our trust in the Lord. Where is the Lord requiring change that we haven't accepted? Are you currently in a season of change or just recently get out of it? How has it been for you?
Let's chat about what this openness can look like and how the Lord can always do NEW things, even if they're unexpected or beyond our comprehension. We'd love to hear about the beautiful changes the Lord has brought in your life.
We will be live every Tuesday at 1pm ET in our BIS Member Community and we'd love to see you there! đ connect.blessedisshe.net.
Sisters, how do we live a purpose-filled life? Scripture can give us some direction: "So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom" // Ps 90:12. Let's chat about our life's mission and how to live on purpose.
If you've found some practical tips to live intentionally, we'd love to hear them! This episode is to help us step outside of the monotonous routine we've surrendered to and live everyday with meaning!
What about you, friend? Do you dare to dream?
We spent the Advent season reflecting on hope and the gift it is in our lives. But now what? Have we applied it? With hope we can begin to dream and invite the Lord into them.
And guess what? It's not too late to dream! After all, we will always be His children 𩷠Tell Him your dreams. If you don't have any or don't have any for yourself, let's begin to invite the Lord to illuminate our desires and hopes we've let go for so long.
Happy New Year! đ
How has the start of the new year been for you? We want to hear about your vision for 2025. What does this new beginning mean for you? What do you hope to accomplish or learn?
Spend some time with us as we talk about the One constant in our lives - our God. When everything else changes, comes to an end, or turns out unexpected, we can fall back on the certainty of the Lord's presence in our lives and His desire for our happiness. Can't wait to share with you all đ¤

We are back for another Q&A and we're getting into navigating the Holidays and keeping our JOY in the midst of it all.
Join the convo as we share the beauty and often difficulties of giving Jesus everything. What does a life of faith with no reservations look like? Is it attainable?
Join us for Q&A as we share about doing hard things but you don't get to do them alone! Join the convo as we talk about spiritual discipline and the way Jesus wants to walk with us as we try to do all the things.
Join us for Q&A as we share about the call to Holiness and what that practically looks like.
Q&A is back and we are talking about the stigma of being followers. How do we accept that we are not weak because we choose to follow? When is it important to just lead?
It's that time again to talk about our IDENTITY. Who else needs a reset from all of the things we do or all of the hats we wear?? The Lord calls us His beloved. We are co-heirs with Christ. We are His daughters. Join us for Q&A and share your thoughts with us!
Join us live to talk all about the difference between JOY and HAPPINESS. Lord, restore our joy!
Names have such a deep connection with our identity. Letâs celebrate this Feast Day talking about the Most Holy Name of our Mother and the beauty in names.
A fresh start? Hectic schedules starting back up? What does it look like after the back to school pics are taken? Letâs chat expectations vs. reality!
Another Marian feast day, another Marian Q&A! Join the convo about Mary's Spiritual Motherhood for you!
Letâs talk about how Catholics and Protestants have misconceptions about Mary, the Mother of God.
What a strange question this is! Yet sometimes we find ourselves asking it about ourselves, about our neighbors, or even being questioned by others. Letâs tackle this never-ending question we ask⌠and remember that there is but One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church, and we as Catholic Christian women are each a part of that.
Six (or seven?!) years later, Beth Davis is finally going to give the talk Jenna has always asked for: letâs talk about defeating distractions in prayer.
Letâs talk about the never-ending question of âHow do I balance ALL THE THINGS?â Is balance actually a myth? And if it is, whatâs the alternative solution?
Come hang with us as we talk all about the importance of what we consume as Christian women. Letâs talk books, movies, social media, food, alcohol, and more. What are we attached to and where are we willing to let God take over?
What would happen if we actually invite someone to pray? How would that change their life?
What would happen if we took five minutes a day to pray? How would our lives be changed?
Father Connealy shares his powerful story of how a simple invitation to prayer changed everything.
Lots of Christians donât know the truth of the Eucharist; some Catholics even donât know the beauty of the Eucharist and what It means in our lives that Jesus is truly present: Body, Blood, Soul, & Divinity.
Weâd love to hear how you persevere in prayer (or how itâs a struggle for you). Letâs talk all about prayer, Scripture, and how we can lean on the Church when times are hard.
Do you ever find it difficult to pray? You're not alone! Join us as we chat all about it!
Join Beth and Jenna as they talk about Prayer Routines & The Foundational Truths of Prayer!
Today we'll talk about why we as Christians are sometimes more concerned with what others think instead of what God thinks.

There is a growing, burning desire in my heart to live more radically for the Lord. To love Him more lavishly, to trust Him with everything, to be wildly obedient to His will. And this man, Fr. Innocent Montgomery, CFR, shows me how. On this very special episode of the Gathering Place podcast, I chat with Fr. Innocent about journeying into the desert with Jesus and his brothers, the annual pilgrimage that inspired our new Lenten devotional for men, Born of Fire.
It's the last episode of the season and this one is all about silence! Join Father Parks and Beth Davis to wrap up season 8 of The Gathering Place.
Jenna went into labor on the day we were supposed to finish recording season 9 of the podcast, so Fr. John Parks came to the rescue!
Our incredible spiritual advisor sat down for a chat about all things spiritual direction which of course means we ended up talking all about prayer (the best). If you've ever wondered about spiritual direction, been on the hunt for an ace spiritual director, or tried to start (or restart) a prayer routine, this episode is for you. Watch over on Youtube or find us anywhere you listen to podcasts. And stay tuned next week for the last episode of this season of the Gathering Place with FP.
Any guesses what S word we'll be talking about??
This one is close to the heart for us. Jenna and I both suffered so much and so long with sexual sin and we want you to know that if you have too, you're not alone. That if you are struggling now, you are not alone.
Whether it's in your past or in this moment, Jesus wants you to know that He is a Savior, Healer, and Deliverer. He came to save you. He wants to heal you. He will deliver you.
We'd love to share our stories and pray that the grace of God washes over you on this week's episode of the Gathering Place. Watch over on Youtube or listen on your podcast app. Then share it with a friend?
We can't wait for you both to come out of the darkness and step into His light right alongside us.Here's to healing and wholeness in Jesus' name,
â¤ď¸BD
All the love you're looking for can be found in that little white Host.
Just in case you've never heard this, Jesus Himself is alive and present in the Most Holy Eucharist. Every Mass, He makes Himself truly present - Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity - to you, for you.He remains in the tabernacle after every Mass to be visited and consoled, to love and heal you. Go to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. He is waiting to receive you there.
Feeling burnt out from all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season? Or maybe you're feeling spent from a long year lived at a fast pace. If you're hoping for a change with the flipping of the calendar page, we're got good news for you: you can live differently in 2022.
You can enjoy your life, love your people, pray with more affection and devotion, and walk in peace and purpose. How? Let us introduce you to Sabbath rest.
This week on the Gathering Place podcast, Jenna and Beth talk about learning how to rest well and how setting apart the Sabbath brings freedom. Join in the convo on youtube or listen on your favorite podcast app.
What brings you true, deep soul rest, friends? Let us know in the comments and then make a plan to rest well this coming Sunday. You won't regret giving God (and yourself) this sacred time.
Permission to slow down granted.
Have you been feeling the pressure to get it all done, figure it all out, do it all perfectly - even in prayer? You weren't made for stress and overly committed schedules, you were made for rest.
And if you've been feeling exhausted, discouraged, or frazzled, consider this your sign to scale back all of the doing and learn to just be.
Everyone suffers. Maybe you're hurting right now, maybe you've just come through a really tough time, or perhaps you want to support someone who's struggling. No matter your experience of suffering, there is hope and healing available right here, right now.Â
Join us for an honest and vulnerable conversation about suffering as Jenna + Beth share how they're learning to trust God and receive His mysterious, amazing love right in the middle of it.
It's time to chat about surrender again! Beth and Jenna are back to talk all about the secret sauce of surrender.Â
Life with the Lord is an exciting ride, friends. Just throw your hands up in the air and enjoy the ride! It's all about surrender.Â
We are back with season 8 of the Gathering Place Podcast! We are getting back to basics this time. This season is a simple season. The simpler our lives are, the more space there is for the Lord. We can't wait to hang with you! Stay simple, gals!
Season 8 of The Gathering Place is airing the week of Thanksgiving and this season is all about simplicity. In this special bonus episode, we sit down with Leana Bowler to talk all about And Hay Became Holy, Advent, and healing.
He has chosen you from the beginning of time and will always choose you, friend. Don't forget it đ
Hearing Godâs voice through your history â letâs pray together sweet #BISsisterhood đđđ
The Father wants to know you and your whole heart. There is nothing we can trust to Him. Claire Dwyer is joining us for Teachable Tuesday sharing all about the Father's heart for us today.
It's the end of another season of the Gathering Place podcast and after chatting with the best guests and friends all about evangelization, we want to launch Y O U to go out and preach the Gospel to the whole world. The best part? You can do that right where you are.Being a missionary isn't for the few, it's the call and natural consequence of each and every baptized Christian. So let's flip the switch and activate a mission mindset. You are an ambassador for Christ. In your family and workplace, on campus or at the grocery store. You can share the Gospel in the most ordinary ways in your everyday life. Letâs start today!
If you've been looking for Someone or Something worth dying for, you've come to the right place. The Gospel is worth it. Jesus gave everything for you to be with you forever and our response should look the same. Total surrender, complete gift of self, laying down our lives for Love.He is so worthy, friend. On this week on the Gathering Place podcast, join Jenna and Beth as they talk all things Jesus with special guest Michael Miller from Upperroom in Dallas. If you want to be inspired to radically follow Jesus both personally and in community, pull up a chair.
Let's read from John 15 and see where the Lord is trying to get practical in our everyday lives. Join us for Teachable Tuesday, where we dive into God's word and apply it to our lives.
Right here and now, the Lord is knocking on the door of your heart. Jesus desires to be at the center of your life and He is offering His love and life to you, fully and forever. Will you open your hands and receive that gift?
Everyone is on a journey. Everyone has their own story on how they meet and come to know the Lord. Meet people where they are at in their walk. Matt Fradd sits down in the studio with us telling us all about how he met the Lord through the brilliant of mind of Saint Thomas Aquinas and how we can come to learn from him.
Want to change the world? Pursue holiness. Go deep before you go out. Let His love and friendship change Y O U before you try to change anyone else. Pull up a chair this week as Jenna + Beth talk about diving deep in prayer and letting the Lord take care of everything (and everyone) else.
Father Boniface Hicks joins us in the studio for episode 120 chatting about spiritual direction and evangelization. We have a cause for evangelization when we fall in love with Jesus ourselves and share that with others. Make space for others. Love them. And they will know Jesus. It's not about the project, it's about love.
God is a real and living person who wants a relationship with you. Give Him your heart today.
Letâs look at where we spend our time, where we give our hearts, where we offer our worship. We are all worshipping something. We are all at the altar of something. Is it our Lord or is it something else? We were made for worship. So letâs give our worship where it is due â to Him.
Sometimes we can look at our lives and ask, "How did I get here?" If you have drifted, you are never too far away for the Lord. Our special guest Christine Caine is here to share with us how we can remember our markers so that we do not drift. We have to have an anchor in this day and that anchor is Jesus Christ.
Itâs time to prune some things. Letâs open up scripture to John 17 and let Him get to work in us đżđ
We all have a verse from the Bible that the Lord want's us to know. It's a verse that is just for us. It's not just some words on a page. It is living. Jenna and Beth are back talking all about their passages from Scripture inspired by the charism test.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is JOY! This week on the podcast, join Beth + Jenna and Mike Guizar (Jenna's husband!) for a lot of laughs, Holy Spirit inspired convo, and even more love.
This is the one where Beth and Jenna talk all about how they pray. From Holy Hours to journaling to lots of reading from Personal Prayer, we are so excited to let you in on our prayer time.
Father Mark-Mary, CFR. is back on The Gathering Place chatting with us about how we can evangelize in practical ways in our world. Start simply, friend. Pick up the phone and call someone. It's as simple as that. Give it a shot. See what the Lord does.
It can be intimidating to pray with people. But think about it, friend. What's the worst thing that can happen? Jenna and Beth sit down this week to chat all about how to pray with people.
SLOOOOOOW DOWN. Â You can just rest, friend. Take 5 minutes in silence with the Lord today.
Father Innocent, CFR. is back for part two talking all about intimacy. The Father desires for us is to be deeply intimate with Him. That is the fight of our life, friends. To know that and to believe it.
We are joined by Father Innocent, CFR. to chat all about intimacy with the Lord. If we want to grow in intimacy with God, we have to be willing to waste some time with Him in prayer.
Recently Richard Dawins shared what we've always known to be true: Catholics believe in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Â The rumors are true, friend. We take Christ at His word. Let's read John 6 together.
We are back for season seven of The Gathering Place and this season we are talking all about evangelization. Jenna and Beth sit down to catch up on life and talk about how different this year looks compared to last year. Â We can be so tempted after last year to just want to go back to how everything was.
But we aren't coming back to normal, friends. We are coming back to life.
It's Teachable Tuesday time and we are joined by Father Mark-Mary of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. We all have it. Some bags are bigger than others. But set them down. The Lord wants to bring us peace. Ask yourself... is your baggage hurting you? And if so, how can we get back to peace?
Suffering and joy arenât mutually exclusive. You can have joy right in the middle of whatever mess youâre dealing with because Heâs with you, right in the middle of it, too. How sweet is that?
Come and be encouraged on this weekâs bonus episode of the Gathering Place podcast with the Set A Fire Lent devotional narrator and beloved BIS blog editor Olivia Spears. This joy is for Y O U.
Let's get a Bible and read Psalm 92 to see how we should begin and end our day right (which is with the Lord).
Do you have burdens? Do you feel heavy? We have a Savior, and His name is Jesus. He will carry those for you. Right now, today. Let's give it over to Him.
Sometimes we can get bogged down on what to DO for Lent. Well, have no fear! Beth gives us three tips for discerning what the Lord wants from us for Lent.
God is love. God is truth. There is only one of Him. The love of God and the truth of God are never opposed.
We are joined by Father John Parks for this special video where we answer questions all about common misconceptions about the Catholic Church and finding truth.
Did you ever think your weakness, tiredness, and limitations could be a good thing? Let them lead you back to the heart of the Father. He wants to be your everything.Â
This may be the last Gathering Place podcast of the season, but weâre not through hanging out with you! Join us for the next round of #bisvbs starting February 3. Weâre reading Saint Paulâs letter to the Ephesians. Tag a friend and get readyđ¤Š
Join us for a monthly talk with different religious orders to learn more about religious life for women. We will kickstart this series hearing from Father John Burns, the Vocation Promoter and Promoter of Womenâs Religious and Consecrated Life in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
The Lord is calling us to more than just consuming good content: it's an invitation to deep intimacy with Him. So let's dive in.
Father Mark Mary of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal is back again for another episode of The Gathering Place! This time we are talking all about suffering & trust in the Lord's will for our lives. Trusting the Lord can be hard, especially when we struggle with trust. But He never lets you down. He is always there. He will never abandon you.
This week, we sit down with Father Mark Mary of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal to chat all about family. We have a calling to each other. We as brothers and sisters in Christ belong to each other. We have a common Father and we really are family. The Gospel comes to those who have the most broken image of family. Thatâs the mission of the Church. Thatâs the mission of Christ.
Happy New Year! In this week's episode, Jenna & Beth chat about their word, saint, and verse for the 2021. It's time for a new beginning this year. He has good things in store for you, sweet friend.
Merry Christmas, friends! Today, we are joined by Laura Kelly Fanucci for a special episode chatting all about our new book Emmanuel. God loves you THIS much. Letâs sit in the quiet amazement of this truth. And letâs not forget it, today and every day.
Merry Christmas, #BISsisterhood.
This week, Jenna & Beth sit down with Father John Burns and talk all about our stories of suffering. The Lord is there in all of it. He is the God of our rescue and His grace is coming for you. Let Him find you, heal you, and set you free.
This one is all about Father Jacque Philippe & interior peace. In this episode, Beth & Jenna chat about the ways they are striving to maintain interior peace & ways you can too. Let's keep the peace, friends.Â
This week, Jenna & Beth sit down with Claire Dwyer to chat about the Holy Spirit & the stories the Lord writes with your life. Take comfort that the Lord has moved radically in your life and will continue to do so, one step at a time, through our radical surrender.
In our hundredth episode, we share about how the Lord works in our personal experiences of healing. It's harder and it hurts, but it's so good. He is always present, never leaving, and will continue to heal us until we are completely set free.
And that, my friend, is good news.
Jenna, Beth, and Nell sit down this week to chat about how Advent is a battle to break out of the sleepiness of presents and tradition, and to wake up the the radical reality that the Savior of the world was born to save us. Take a listen and let the Lord in as you contemplate the beginning of Advent.
This year has been crazy. We may have gotten off track with our prayer routines and are struggling. He wants to know that. He wants to be close to you in that suffering. Bring that to Him and allow Him to realign your heart. Be greedy for His grace. Let's chase that grace, friends.
In this week's episode, we are joined by Father Dan Connealy to chat all about giving ourselves entirely to the Lord & giving Him time every day in prayer. The Lord can work wonders in your prayer life. He only needs a few minutes with you.
This one is all about healing. His promises are for you, sweet friend. Not just for someone else, He wants to restore you, to make you new, to set you free.
In this week's episode, we are joined by Michelle Benzinger talking all about places of peace and rest during this year. This year, the Church is being invited to become brighter. Itâs time to shine, #BISsisterhood.
In this week's episode, Jenna and Beth chat all about how the Lord has moved in their lives. Friends, look back and see how the Lord has moved, how Heâs spoken, how Heâs revealed Himself in the past. And then pay attention - because He is establishing a pattern.
We have a hard time resting. With all of the distractions of daily life, true rest can fall to the side. In this week's episode, we are joined by Lisa Brenninkmeyer who shares with us the joy that comes when we lean back in the Lord.
The world is noisy. It can be really hard to hear Him. In this week's podcast, Jenna and Beth talk about the importance of silence and social media. The Lord speaks in a whisper. Let's lean in closer and quiet ourselves so that we can hear Him.
In this week's episode, Beth and Jenna chat with Mike Guizar about going all in with the Lord and the surprise adventures He has brought along the way. Let's step out with confidence in Him. The game has already been won. Trust the Spirit and go.
