IT'S A THROWBACK OF ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE EPISODES - This one was a juicy one!!
Who said that the stigmas placed on me will define who I am? Who said that I (or you) must walk, talk, & behave in the stigmas that have been handed down for generations? Not me? In today's episode, I walk you through 5 strategies of how to dismantle generational stigmas. I share how to P.O.U.N.D. those stigmas, while also bringing yourself to the carpet.
It's time to challenge ourselves with the stigmas that we are knowingly or unknowingly perpetuating and passing down and around. Whew!! This episode is a good one! The affirmation that kicks us off is I am open , ready, & willing to unlock the endless possibilities within me. Are you?Grab your affirmation deck at https://www.lolitawalker.com/shop
On this 48th episode (where we are throwing back to our11th episode), Clinical Therapist and Cannabis Expert, Paulette Simone Smith, talks to us about how stigmas surrounding cannabis have reset the foundation of her growing business AND have led to her pursuing a Master's Degree in Cannabis Science & Therapeutics. Pretty cool right? We talk everything from education, community, healing, and advocacy, to the differences between coaching and therapy, to the sheer value of sharing and owning your own story...your own journey story! You remember that from episode 10? Our deep discussion will shift your thinking, of not only stigmas as a whole, but will also challenge those that you may still hold, particularly around cannabis.
In this episode's coaching (minute 5.07), the soul-work (minute 8.34) is P.O.U.N.D.ing on the chest in your corner, full of dust, that holds the stigmas you have either heard, attached to others, or have been attached to you. It's time to shake them up and dismantle them one by one. Are you ready? During cocktails (minute 15.02), we give a cheers to our small wins and the nuggets that you pulled away and then in conversations (minute 18.02), Paulette drops some MAJOR nuggets that will get you thinking and acting in a more empowered and educated kinda way! She aims to shift your thinking on all things cannabis..

David Bianchi, poet, actor, philanthropist, just to name a few, joins us on this episode to talk everything from making history in the NFT space, as the first spoken word performance poet to create an NFT. Unfamiliar with what an NFT is and how powerful of a currency it is? No worries, he shares all of the details during our conversation.
But David doesn't just stop there. His "spinema" of "I Can't Breathe" has reached millions and has reshaped how we fuse poetry, art, cinema, social consciousness and our words into a true artform to make money, while impacting community. 100% of the proceeds of his "I Can't Breathe" piece will benefit The George Floyd Foundation and his aim is to raise $150K more dollars for non-profits by December 31, 2021 to pour into the communities that each "spinema" profits.
In today's episode, COACHING leaves you with an exercise of "soul work" called The Circle of You. We look at limiting beliefs and relate them back to the power that our thoughts and our words have and how you may be able to look at them a bit differently. COCKTAILS celebrates the amazingness of who you are and reminds you of the affirmation that you are greatness where you stand. Own it and own the words that you say to yourself and to others. CONVERSATIONS are where you hear David Bianchi share stories of when he was young and how words shaped him, a bit of inspiration to leave us motivated to action, what he feels is a barrier that still faces him today and his 4 minute, 50 second, power piece of work called, "I Can't Breathe."
