Dr. Don Trest teaches about the coming apocalypse in Isaiah 24 and begins to introduce how it relates to the salvation that follows it.
Dr. Trest Looks at the chapters leading to the section termed as the Isaiah Apocalypse. He gives some context to the idea of apocalypse and shows how God in both the New and Old Testament has had the conclusion to the story of Sin and Redemption in mind.
Dr. Don Trest teaches from Isaiah Chapter 17. The oracle concerning Egypt shows us God's character and the grace He bestows on all peoples of the earth that will come to Him. The oracle deals with the people of Egypt in Isaiah's day but also tells us about things to come for Egypt "In that Day".
Pastor Don teaches from Mark 2:1-12 during a baptism service and shows that while baptism has no saving power, it is a powerful testimony to the working of God in a person's life.
Dr. Don Trest continues in the study of Isaiah, this time in chapter 17:1-14. In this oracle regarding Damascus, the Lord lays out his grievance with Israel (the Northern Kingdom) deciding to ally with Syria instead of trusting Him.
Elder Bob Wren teaches from the writings of 1 John 2:25-29. God's Spirit abides in us so that we may not be deceived by false teaching but instead, we know the Truth.
