After making the choice to stay in New Mexico, I wrestled with whether or not that had been the wisest. The thought of a fresh start was intriguing, and maybe my approach had been wrong. But did I have it in me to start all over again? Luckily, my buddy Travis had my back.
After learning that my selling partner had quit, my own future in New Mexico seemed unclear.
Week eight brought about a realization that I was allowing all the "no"s to get the better of me. I needed a win in a bad way.
Despite a number of setbacks, I finally broke through and enjoyed some sales success. But at the end of the week, the losses greatly outweighed the gains.
After struggling though the first month of door-to-door sales, things finally seemed to turn a corner. Except, it's never quite that easy, is it?
After finally getting my first sale, the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders. I felt great. But then again...something wasn't right.
After an anxiety-filled start, the rest of the first day went fairly smoothly. Almost too uneventful, actually.
All the waiting, the excitement, and the anxious energy were all leading up to this moment. The First Day!
Originally written in July 2018, "This Story Is Full Of Crap" was a post on theMuggo.com that contained three short stories about, well, crap. I was recently back home in Indiana and decided to have my brother, Joe, help me tell part of this story. Shouts to my brother-in-law, Bob, who helped keep us in line.
