Earlier today DUP MLA (and MP) Gregory Campbell claimed that wages paid to resigning DUP Ministers had already been returned to the Northern Ireland Assembly. It later emerged they hadn't done so and "appropriate arrangements are to be made to ensure that happens".

Jeremy Corbyn has certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons with his comments on nuclear weapons today when he said he would not push the button if he were to be elected Prime Minister and argued against replacing Trident.
But is he right?
Would the estimated £100bn. it would cost to replace Trident be better spent elsewhere?
Will his comments cause further divide in the Labour Party?
Stormont has no say on matters of 'national security' but it would be interesting to hear your views.

SDLP Environment Minister Mark H Durkan has said he is looking at the option of licensing plans for all bonfires in Northern Ireland.
Although there are no laws against having a bonfire there are laws for the nuisance they can cause.
There are also various environmental laws that are currently not enforced in Northern Ireland during the bonfire season.
Is licensing a good idea or would it merely inflame tensions.

A consultants' report suggests the new flag could be flown at Parliament Buildings on days the Assembly is sitting.
The report for the Assembly Commission, which runs Parliament Buildings, said the potential for the flying of a neutral, civic flag had attracted some support, "especially among staff" working in the Assembly.
