Splendour is back again and you know I had to give you all something to listen to on the drive down.

Ahead of Splendour 2018 I knew the auxiliary chord struggles would be real that morning, so I put together a mix just long enough to see Splendy attendees most of their journey to Byron. She's got a bit of everything so it's a bit of fun.

At the time I uploaded this first mix of the 3-part series, this following was the caption I paired with it. I think the mix is still pretty enjoyable and displays my genre interests outside of commercial/party.
"I graduate uni at the end of this year and for me that signifies the true start point of where my involvement in music might lead. Close friends & Brissy locals have this idea of who I am as a DJ; the guy who plays across 10 different venues Thurs - Sun and spins all your favourite party tunes + some mashups of my own. Believe it or not I don't really enjoy this ahaha - I spend hours every day scouring the internet for music and I have stacks I just never get to play.
In essence, I want to introduce the JAYMAK Trilogy - here I will upload 3 separate mixes and finally start to break down the facade that I'm just a 'party DJ' and show u what I fuck with.
