This week on the Random Assault Livestream, it's just Matt and Kate and more of The Real Driving Simulator, despite Kate "not being into cars". Kate's grab-bag of gaming horrors returns as it does every month for another dose of misery! Multimedia mistakes, licensed garbage, and old-ass Call of Duty eventually make way for Kate to play the same level of Smuggler's Run over and over again. But, you know how this goes; the discussion is generally not related to the gameplay on screen, so this makes a great audio-only episode. Especially since we tear apart that new Bill Nye show, and get super-duper racist!
This week on the Random Assault Podcast, Kate's off doing her thing and in her place, we have not just listener Everett (TwerkinForKFC in the Discord), but also listener RattleMeBones! Once again, Kate graces us with a box of mystery goodness of gaming retrocity! Just... get ready to see a lot of aimless wandering, as two of the games are not-so-great examples of 3D exploration in the PS2 era, and the other is an open-world game, but top-down. As always, plenty of interactions with the fans in the live-chat, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page to see when the next live-stream is! And of course, subscribe to us on YouTube to be notified when we go live next time.

Another grab-bag of miscellaneous gaming goodness from Kate, as we explore mainly Sega titles this time. We also get nostalgic with some classic My Chemical Romance, and... well, there's quite a bit of downtime between games due to some technical snafus but at least Matt and Mitch keep the conversation flowing.
This week on the Random Assault Podcast, it's a shorter episode thanks to being short-handed. Okay, so like that disclaimer above says: this episode was done as a video livestream. Again, to get the full experience, check out the full livestream on our YouTube channel. These will be a monthly occurance, so keep it locked to our Twitter and Facebook pages for announcements when we'll be doing this again, so you can hang out in the chat and berate us for reacting to things late due to the 20 seconds of lag!

This week on the Random Assault Podcast, barriers are broken as we do our first-ever live episode! All in commemoration of the sad, sad truth: Alex is parting ways with the show. At least, for right now. The nitty-gritty details are contained in this episode, but know that he's not entirely gone for good. He might pull a Doug Walker and come back to the show in a few months. He might not. We'll just have to see. He'll also definitely still be a part of the convention videos in the future, such as MAGfest and Boston FIG.
Besides all that nonsense, we interact with fans live for the first time, covering tough subjects like being offensive on the internet, Bear Grylls, explaining jokes that never got recorded, and more. And stay tuned til the end to hear a bunch of listeners dog-pile into the Google Hangouts call to wish Alex a terrible farewell.

This past weekend, Matt and Mitch shipped up to Boston to meet up with Alex and Willy and to attend the Boston Festival of Indie Games. However, not a lot of FIG coverage was actually done this year, and they guys were having so much fun hanging out and being pals that they neglected to even sit down and record an episode of the podcast in the same room.
So instead, Mitch opted to record their table conversation during the breakfast they had right before they parted ways again. This is the almost entirely un-edited recording, featuring awkawrd silences and bleary-eyed hosts.
Due to the lower audio quality of this episode, it is recommended that you listen to it with headphones on.

Another bonus aftershow for you guys! Free of charge! Let us know if you like these, as we plan to keep doing them until they are no longer funny. Which should take, like... 5 episodes.
So, here's a new thing we're gonna try doing. The past few episodes, our post-show meetings in which we discuss the episode name and banner contents, as well as just shoot the breeze a little more, have been really funny. At least, to us. So, we decided we're going to start recording these "aftershows" as bonus content for you listeners! No Patreon required! Think of these as like... a bonus fourth segment. They probably won't run longer than a half hour in most cases, but yeah. Trying this out for a change. Let us know what you think.

DISCLAIMER: This Minor Assault episode and Episode 204 are part of the same episode. We had the DC Stunt Coalition guys on for the third segment, and they were so good and so enthusiastic, (plus that segment went on for almost 2 hours), we just decided to make that one Episode 204. This Minor Assault is the first two segments of what would be that full episode.
We're joined by listeners and fans alike, including TURbo, Chris Ott, Timmy Pags, and Richard Hotsauce Carolina, to recap our experiences at this year's Music and Games Festival! It should be noted that we had a LOT of people in the room by Segment 2 of this episode, so it gets rough, but it's still great!
This week on the Random Assault Podcast, we're back from MAGfest and ready to... recap MAGfest. But after that, Matt talks about anime, and he, Alex and Mitch break the unholy seal and watch as much Rick and Morty as their little eyes can stomach. Which is to say... about 4 episodes. (Plus, it went on for almost 2 hours.) Join us as we interview the DCSC crew about their on-stage performance at this year's MAGFest, "Enter the Grimdark", and be sure to check out their Facebook page! If you were at MAGFest this year, please let the people who run the convention know how important the DC Stunt Coalition's show is, so they can continue to amaze audiences and put on a great show for years to come!

God, what a bunch of fucking nerds. I just want to beat them until they explode into fourteen ribcages, ten skulls and seven femurs. NERDS!

This week on Random Assault, Alex complains about Dark Souls (meaning he sucks), then he reviews every single permutation of Oldboy (because he's Alex), and he also tells of how he was covered in green applesauce in Florida. It's a very Alex-centric episode. I mean, they ALL are, but this one especially so.

This week on Random Assault, we're joined by superfan and Mitch's childhood friend, AJ! We recap MAGfest, discuss the bullshit around copyright, and AJ tells embarrassing tales of Mitch from the homeland while Matt gets super butthurt about stuff! So it's pretty much a normal show. Except for Mitch ripping off Alex's quiz from a few episodes back, involving Western pop music in North American releases of Japanese music games.
This week on Random Assault, hear our adventures from MAGfest 13! This episode's got it all: comedy, drama, dramedy, commas, and interviews! Listener and superfan TURbo roasts the shit out of us, and even does something unspeakable at the end of the show! This is the episode you're gonna tell your grandkids about as they check you in to the hospital for a severe case of dimentia!
This week on Random Assault, Le Tran joins us to get freaky with Freddy, sacrifice some souls, cast a shadow over Mordor, and track down some amiibo. There's also some talk of live-action anime adaptations, and the differences between the other Pokemon generations.
This week on Random Assault, we're joined by the lovely Mela Firefly as well as MarvelExplained, so I think you know what direction nearly every conversation in this episode takes. Yup. We talk a ton about Sonic the Hedgehog.
This week on Random Assault, we get into the real nitty-gritty. We talk about the stupid Sony hacks and that dumb Interview movie, how much Matt hates Aubrey Plaza for having the gall to be born in the same state that he lives in, and we discuss whether the Vita is a contender for the 3DS, and then Mitch and Kate argue for I think a half hour about PlayStation Plus, for maybe the third time since we started this stupid show.
This week on Random Assault, we talk a lot about Zelda games and which ones are the best. And then Alex chokes on cereal and the show not just flies off the rails but also crashes into a seminar for people who make sense.
This week on Random Assault, we're joined by Julia and Etai who talk about their game, Mushroom 11. We also discuss the growth of indies in the convention scene and how it might affect shows like PAX. Then we talk about surprise prolapses, and Mitch makes Matt so angry that he gives his own Cliffsnotes version of Gurren Lagann. And then we wax nostalgic about a shitload of old cartoons like the old men we are, just like everyone else on the internet with a microphone.
This week, we're joined by Dylan Tierney of FrontTowardsGamer, aka Phazon117. And we talk a buttload about Smash Bros! Is it a fighting game? Is it even a GAME?! You decide!
This week on Random Assault, Nick Robalik of Sombrero fame is here with us to talk ethics, game design, and which foods are likely to kill you. Speaking of foods, Mitch talks about eating bald eagles and how he's responsible for bringing a child into this earth (and it's not in the way you're thinking.) Also, a guy who was on fire ordered water from a Taco Bell. Because. This one's packed to the gills with content, so enjoy!
This week on Random Assault, we're joined by a flurry of guests! Kori sits in with Mitch again, and the long-awaited appearance of RA superfans TURbo and Chris Ott! The guys jerk each other off with quotes and exerpts from the RA Wiki, (lovingly run by TURbo), then they argue about Sonic games and we get the final chapter of The Saga of Flabslapper. Oh, and two contests are announced! Be sure to listen til the third segment to find out how to win Steamalot: Epoch's Journey, and FLCL on DVD!
This week on Random Assault, we cross the barriers of time and space to bring you TWO special guests! Glass Knuckle Games stops by to talk about the awesome party-murder-game, Thief Town! Then Neal Laurenza from Skymap Games drops by to talk about the wonderfully cartoony Bacon-Man! Then Mitch talks too much about Bayonetta 2 and Alex talks too much about The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, so buckle up for that.
This week on Random Assault, two of our star players (Matt and Mitch) are absent, so we sub in guests WillyFresh and David Reinhardt to help us win the pennant or something. Hole in one. Off sides. Sports! Disclaimer: sports are probably not mentioned at all in this week's podcast. Probably. This probably sounds really suspicious now. I should probably stop using the word "probably". The word "probably" probably sounds weird now that you've heard it a bunch of times in a row, doesn't it?
This week on Random Assault, we buckle down and tackle the important issues of the day. I hope you're not tired of GamerGate yet, because it absolutely dominates this entire show. One Minor Assault episode was not enough to confine this controversial giant of a topic! Grease up your non-gender-specific poopers.
It's that time of the year again! Time for ghouls and ghosts and kooky spooky... well, you know the rest. Alex forces our hosts to once again sit around the campfire and tell tales that will chill your bones! Or curse the day you ever started subscribing to us. Either or, really.
This week on Random Assault, Willy joins us to talk a buttload about different TV shows and junk, which leads into a TV theme song quiz, and we talk about Matt's death and funeral for like the third week in a row. Sadboys gonna sad.
THIS WEEK ON MIIIIIIINOR ASSAAAAAAAAULT, we have Adamant Ditto here to talk to Alex and Mitch about Super Smash Bros for 3DS, and the series as a whole. We talk about what we're excited to see in the forthcoming Wii U version, our mains, and where we thought the series hit its high point. THIS GAME'S WINNER IS... YOU!
This week on Random Assault, we have Will Brierly, creator of Soda Drinker Pro, in with us! The topics cover a cornucopia of flavors, including GWAR, our funerals, coma theories, and Will's storied existence. ...Oh, and soda. We talk about soda for like 5 seconds.
This week on Random Assault, we're joined by Luke "TotalMortalKombat" Cunningham! We talk shit on Mike Matei, discuss racier aspects in games such as bare tits and rape, and then Alex and TMK blast you all with a firehose full of Mortal Kombat X jizz like angry cops at a peace rally. And that's just the tip of the iceberg in this extra-size episode!
This week on Random Assault, we have a stripper on the show. Yep, we've gone full Howard Stern here, folks. So we end up taking your questions about being a stripper, and also talk about J/O crystals, driving through New York City with Matt in the car, and whether or not we would eat human. So, you know. All sexy stuff.
This week on Random Assault, Matt, Alex and Mitch, as well as quite a few guests, pile into Alex's sweaty fuckin' bedroom to talk about the Boston Festival of Indie Games! It devolves into the usual Random-Assault-branded malarkey, but this episode is triple-stuffed with interviews from the exhibitors at FIG! Also Matt makes Alex's action figures fuck. Cause, you know.
KILL ALL MEN! Listener Richard explains to Flabslapper what the actual fuck #GamerGate is and why people should care. Because I certainly have no idea what the fuck is going on anymore, that's for sure.
Read about it yourself and form your own opinion, but who does that anymore, right?
This week on Random Assault, Matt attempts to bring up #GamerGate, but is swiftly thwarted. So instead he talks about how he thinks Breaking Bad is a terrible, terrible show. Then he talks about watching that show that Mitch won't shut the fuck up about. And then we read another fan-fiction dedicated to Matt. Actually, it's a very Matt-oriented episode. Prepare to get depressed.
This week on Random Assault, I wasn't on this episode so I don't know what we talked about! But I assume Matt talked about not liking a movie that was great, and Kate blabbers on about Gabriel Knight. Siiiigh.
No, you didn't have a collective aneurysm. Do not adjust your monitor; episode 136 is coming out early! This is because this week on Random Assault, we have the directors of the Boston Festival of Indie Games (that's FIG to you) on the show to talk about the expo! We go over the trials and tribulations of making games despite being terrible at them, and we dive into the man, the myth, the legend himself: Guy Fieri.
BE SURE TO KEEP YOUR INTERNETS TUNED TO FIG'S TWITCH CHANNEL THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH, 2014 FOR A SPECIAL STREAM HIGHLIGHTING SOME OF THE GAMES TO BE FEATURED AT THE FESTIVAL THIS YEAR!
This week on Random Assault, we all get spooky scary a few months too early for Halloween! Matt delves into his deep fear of loving Nintendo again, and then the second segment is a scary double-whammy about the P.T. playable teaser and Five Nights at Freddy's! Oh, and we read more Flabslapper fan-fiction! So get ready for disgusting bullshit!
This week on Random Assault, listener Tyler Head joins us, and we get super blazed 420 #SWED. And then we talk about our shared hatred for Whovians. And that stupid fucking fish playing Pokemon. God damn it.
Matt, Alex, David and Le hop on to discuss the new Michael Bay Ninja Turtles movie! Cowabunga?
This week on Random Assault, Mitch invites high school chum Kevin Villecco on to talk about game music remixes! He also brings on his girlfriend, Kori! She talks about how she thinks Mitch is ultra gross and slimy! (Just kidding, we talk about dumb bullshit like a German man crying.)
This week on Random Assault, we talk about... a bunch of bullshit, really. And I don't remember any of it. Oh well. It's a good one!
This week on Random Assault, Richard "Danger" Colina joins us to gush about all things Shovel Knight! This was basically GOING to be the Shovel Knight Minor Assault, but instead it's just a normal episode, stuffed to the gills with 8-bit love!
This week on Random Assault, we're joined by Seth Rosen of Klei Entertainment (yes, he's heard every single joke you've just thought of already), who worked on Don't Starve! He's also one of the guy's responsible for Elizabeth's behavior in Bioshock Infinite! ...I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, but hey! We talk about theme parks, Don't Starve's Reign of Giants DLC, wrestling, and ghosts! Boo!
This week on Random Assault, Mela Firefly joins us to talk about how she wants to eat everything in Zoobooks, about Sailor Moon Crystal, and a LOT of talk about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Like... A LOT.
This week on Random Assault, we are joined by Trevor Stricker of Disco Pixel (creators of Jungle Rumble), and formerly of Smilebit and Visual Concepts! We go over Trevor's history in the games industry, the trials and tribulations that he went through to get there, and the games he's working on now! We also talk about The Wolf Among Us, and mention how you could possibly get a Random Assault Episode 100 banner poster!
This week on Random Assault, the hosts rally against humanity and try to make everything offensive. Then, Alex talks about trying the new Smash Bros and we all debate E3.
This week on Random Assault, we're joined by listener Valentin to talk about Nintendo games, hatred, and our sense of humor! Matt almost buys a Wii U, showing his true colors to us finally, and Mitch played the Tomodachi Life demo. Turns out it's pretty silly!
This week on Random Assault, it's a celebration of all things LEGO as Matt, Mitch, Alex, Kate, and Jayson dissect the fantastic The LEGO Movie (WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE IN THIS EPISODE), reminisce about old LEGO mania memories, and talk WAY too much about Bionicle. Take this dive back into childhood with the Random Assault hosts!
Wow. Umm... it's not that this episode is bad, we don't run out of steam until the 3rd smegment, but I just can't remember what we talked about on this one. Like, the entire episode was just purged from my memory immediately after we finished recording. It's called "catfood" because we talk about a bunch of stuff we'd already gone over, and if you don't know why we call that catfood, go read the wiki. But yeah, this is one off-kilter episode.
This week on Random Assault, Mitch chokes on Chocolate Milk, Kate vocalizes about her vacation to Vancouver, the brats banter about Burial at Sea and Bioshock Infinite, and the third smegment transforms into trite tomfoolery.
This week on Random Assault, we're joined by Yousuf Mapara of Switchblade Monkeys, the devs behind Secret Ponchos! We discuss the trials and tribulations of getting your indie game out there (as well as Sony's awesome indie support with the PS4). We also discuss Batman and the upcoming "Gotham" TV show, discover a bunch of really weird conincidences, and Yousuf answers your questions about the industry! This episode is jam-packed with professional goodness!
Matt, WillyFresh and Le Tran get all kaiju on your ass and talk about the King of Monsters. And maybe Jet Jaguar. I dunno.
This week on Random Assault, Steve "the Nasghul" Sarminian joins us to talk about mid-90's PC memories, eurobeat tunes, excessive amounts of hours on a single game, and (say it with me, now:) JoJo!
This week on Random Assault, we are joined by Dave, creator of Boot Hill Heroes! He talks about the game, and answers your questions! Also, Mitch is fresh back from an anime convention, we discuss TellTale Games because of a PSN Flash Sale, and we also talk about Fatal Frame for some reason.
This week on Random Assault, we make sure to address how stupid you all are for being mad about giving Samus high-heels. You are all dumb idiot babies. Also, Mitch starts a Platinum games circlejerk and tries to get everyone excited for Tomodachi Life... an attempt that utterly fails. Also, I think we talk about JoJo. Again.
This week, Mitch talks about dance games and music games and games that require some form of rhythm! Even more nuts is that everyone actually CARES! He talks about an In the Groove tournament he entered (think hardcore DDR), and the new craze that will hopefully soon be sweeping the nation: Neon FM! Alex talks about his adventures in Southie, Matt discusses his hatred of The Fifth Element but his love of House, (no, not THAT House), and no one makes a Halo reference! Hooraaaay!
This week, Josh "the Krampus" joins us to discuss the stupidity of Scotch-tape selfies, the horrors of working retail in an electronics department or store, indie games, and gaming injuries! We also go over the second half of Burial at Sea, which sparks a rather interesting discussion on patches and DLC.
This week, Mitch is now officially a man. He has killed something. Also, he and Matt talk about Typing of the Dead: Overkill, which is AWESOME. Alex gushes about Tower of Guns (and there's an interview in there as well). There's also talk of westerns, Boot Hill Heroes (which is out now on PlayStation Mobile if you have a PSM-compatible phone and/or Vita)... and hoo boy, we expose Bung-Gate. COWABUNGA!
This week, we explore the forbidden depths of Red Bob's BBQ Fuckin' Mansion, go over a bunch of strange controllers, talk about Gamestop's bullshit business practices, and Alex gives out three codes for Machinarium! FAIR WARNING: Alex is EXTRA obnoxious this week!
This week, we welcome Sean Baptiste of Fire Hose Games, and formerly of Harmonix! That means we get to talk about his studio and their projects, let the listeners ask insider questions, and Mitch can drop obscure Harmonix references on him! Then we talk more about games and wonder why Kiefer Sutherland is supposed to be in so many games soon...
As the title implies, one of your five humble hosts will leave the show by the end of this episode! Besides that, Alex is... gasp... WRONG ABOUT SOMETHING? Yes, turns out A Link Between Worlds is really great. And hey, we have a contest to judge! Get on in here!
This week, Le "MisterSuitMan" Tran joins us to talk about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. And more JoJo. And more JoJo. We talk a shitload about JoJo. Get ready to elaborately pose with us.
This week, if it wasn't obvious by the banner, we take a somber moment to remember Justin "JewWario" Carmical, who was an awesome dude and someone very important to Random Assault. Don't worry, it's not all tears and mourning, we just wanted to pay tribute, so we also talk about import games that you can play (in the spirit of his show), and we also go way too far down the "foreign versions of Sesame Street" rabbit hole.
This time, Richard Hotsauce Carolina joins us for our 109th week in the computer. I wasn't on this episode so I have no idea what we talked about, but I'm sure it was full of hilarity and silliness.
This week, Marco Villa- ...Villapalanpanda... Villalpando joins us and talks art with our fellow art hosts, Mitch and Alex. And then Mitch talks about going to... get this: a farm show. Yes, really. It was awesome. And then Alex complains about Starbomb or something. At least this time his extremely overdone anger is warranted.
Yet another three-person affair, this week gets a little silly. Alex talks about that new Batman game that no one cared about, Mitch turns the Brony documentary into a drinking game, and Kate talks about Kraft Macaroni and Ch- ...I mean, "Kraft Dinner". Even though Kraft makes OTHER THINGS THAN THAT YOU STUPID ASSHOLES.
Also, now I'm really disappointed that we didn't call the episode "Brony Friendzoni, Cheese and Macaroni"...
It's another three-man show, and things get a little silly. After Kate reveals the intricacies of the fabled Mario timeline to all of us, the hosts start to berate obsessive fans of all forms of media. Now, we're not going to single out a particular fandom, but we do talk about how we hate fans of a show that has to do with a Doctor. Who, you ask? Wow. I can't believe I wrote that.
Random Assault is leaving their Christmas decorations out a little late this year and we're giving you a big batch of holiday cheer. Whimsy and magic is abound and the gang finds themselves in another Christmas mishap. This episode is longer than both our last ones COMBINED and covers just about every base for storytelling and genre. SO enjoy and have a Happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year... you ungrateful bastards.
This week, it's every body but our two most vocal hosts, so you'll have to make do with Mitch and Kate mostly blabbing on about old Archie comic series, Sonic, and the Metroid series. Despite that rather un-appetizing description, it's a great episode.
This week, Kate follows Mitch's financial advice and gets a Wii U, so expect quite a bit of Mario talk. Then, Tony and Mitch attempt to talk about the BEST SHOW EVER, and then we talk a lot about James Bond, almost exactly 100 episodes too late for a James Bond-themed banner.
This week, Matt hates things! Big surprise. But... he also likes things? ...Big surprise! ...No, that wasn't sarcasm, that was genuine. And we also talk a lot about Charlie Murder, because that's been WEEKS coming, now. And then I think we set our own record for the shortest third segment ever. Oh, and Mitch doesn't like Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One. Whoop-dee-doo.
This week, Daniel Menard of Double Stallion Games comes on to answer your (somewhat stupid) questions and talk about their kick-ass iOS title, Big Action Mega Fight! (or BAMF for short). Some laughs are had and then Mitch gets all Wonderful on everyone's asses, in 101 very different ways. Then, we talk a lot about animal penises. A LOT.
Be sure to check out Double Stallion's website, and be sure to download Big Action Mega Fight for your Apple device today!
We're back like we're about to fight Professor Screweyes. A bit of a mish-mash of hosts but still: more Random Assault! Yay! Hooray! And why is it that Dave is always on after one of our milestone episodes?
Yes, it's that time of the year again, and this time we don't have any mishaps with cyber-demons or last-minute ghost stories to tell you! Instead I just act like a real jerk! OOOoooOOOOooooOOOO
With Pokémon X & Y hitting stores shelves a couple weeks ago, the world, once again has Pokerus and Random Assault couldn't be happier. Join Alex, Mitch, Kate, Josh and Rich as they relive their childhoods and introductions to the series and then rocket you into the present with X & Y.
Here it is! After two and a half years of Random Assault, we've finally hit the bench mark that ultimately means a show isn't going anywhere (or will immediately stop.) This episode is filled with so much I can't even begin. Behind the scenes stories, what could have been, explainations for stuff you've probably wondered and surprises I'm not fucking telling you here. Enjoy the episode and thanks for all the support over the years.
Mitch and Kate take Tony on a magical mystery tour through a genre of game he's often dared not to tread: role-playing games! The three talk about various highlights from the genre as well as some of the big-name series like Pokemon and Final Fantasy. If you're a newbie to RPGs, give this one a listen and you might just discover some new games that could very well end up being your new favorites!
This week we have a ton to talk about since we skipped one of the more important weeks in gaming. Mitch returns to the simulated streets of Steelport, Alex makes us want to buy action figures as well as take up gardening, and Kate gives us a disappointing glipse at the future of gaming.
This week's episode is like an angry sandwich. First, Alex and Matt complain about the Penny Arcade podcast Kickstarter, then Mitch celebrates the announcement that Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is getting released in North America, and sings the praises of both series, and then Mitch dies or something and the guys talk about the retardation that is YouTube.
Hoo boy. We have a very theater-themed episode this week. Pretty much everyone saw a different movie worth mentioning, and then Kate drops a bomb on us with some rather disgusting pictures of an abandoned porno theater. And Alex talks about Vocaloid or something. Break out your blacklights, it's about to get sticky.
This week, Sol "Kazmo" Stockdon joins us to talk about the recently-unveiled Grand Theft Auto V gameplay, the EVO fighting game tournament, Persona 4, Mitch's Dance Dance Revolution/In the Groove obsession, Sonichu... oh, and Kate opens things up with a story about anus piercings. It's a grab-bag of random bullshit! So give it a listen!
Segment 1 of this episode inexplicably got lost somehow so enjoy a somewhat shorter episode of the podcast! It's not so much a lost episode as it is a lost segment, so that's not all bad, right?
This week is an action-packed romp full of 80's and 90's nostalgia! So, it's just like every other episode we do, but with more explosions. Matt makes a connection to Miami, Tony breathes in the Atmosfear, Mitch takes us through some Worlds of Wonder, Alex sees it, and we all wonder how they hell they managed to port Resident Evil to Game Boy Color.
This week, Alex regails tales from the west coast, including Los Angeles follies and Disneyland dreams. Mitch, meanwhile, keeps it on the east coast with Hotline Miami, and Matt discovers that he actually likes some Disney movies.
This week, we muse on breakfast cereals, point-and-click adventure games, prolapses, and something about bear-sized animals. It's a hoot!
This week we talk about chiptunes and the train wreck that is the Xbox One hahahahAHHAHAHAHAH
This week, we reminisce about the Tiger Electronics LCD games of old, as well as have a bit of a discussion on ad revenue, while we tear blip.tv a new one. It's a good episode, so be sure to hunker down for another 2 hours of fun fun FUN
This is it. This might be one of the sickest, funniest, most depraved things we've ever done. This was so big we originally had to split it into two separate episodes of the podcast. But now you get to listen to all 2 depressing hours full of spicy secrets and Phantom Points, in one digestable mp3 file.
Long story short: we found a list of achievements about jerking it, and decided to see who out of the co-hosts had the most. Tony is the Master of Ceremonies considering his stance on masturbation, and many startling revelations are found during this competition. The results will definitely surprise you. Or maybe not, I dunno. Maybe this is the first episode you're thinking of listening to. (If so, you might want to consider listening to an actual, standard episode of the show.)
I don't actually remember what happened on this episode, so hopefully no one is reading this description since I plan on changing it later once I've gone back and listened to it again. But knowing me, I'll probably forget.
Ok, this week is a silly one. Like really, really silly. Something about Final Fantasy: All the Bravest, and a virtual Japanese pop-star pizza fusion, and after the 2nd segment Mitch just kinda... leaves the show?? Yeah, it's a weird one but since it's an episode we hosts loved, you people will probably hate it.
Richard "Danger" Colina joins us on this episode after having met up with us at PAX East 2013. Alex gets to talk about his surprising views on Injustice: Gods Among Us, then Rich gushes over that most underrated of Zelda games: Majora's Mask. It's a great episode!
This week, Alex and Tony talk a LOT about the Looney Tunes show. No, not that one. The new one. The one that was on Cartoon Network recently. Yes, that one. Honestly I forget what else happened on this episode, but it's a good one. You can take my word for it. Trust me.
This week, Matt jerks off about Tomb Raider, Mitch takes us to Columbia by talking about Bioshock Infinite, Kate regales the terrors of Kid Icarus (the original NES one), Tony talks about racecars, lasers, and aeroplanes, and Alex lets everyone in on the secret of a hidden NES gem, thanks to Mitch and Matt.
A content-packed episode of Random Assault for you this week! Brian Liberge joins us to talk about his new game, PULP! The RPG. We reminisce on the 90's tradition of making animals do rad things, Mitch plays a game that only he can enjoy, as well as watches one of the most insane horror movies ever. And naturally, we answer questions from you, the listeners! There's also a contest in this episode so pay attention during the 2nd break!
And so Random Assault reached the end of their fabulous weekend at PAX East 2013. But as we all know, while the ride is fun, the clean up always takes the longest. So here we have the longest part of the special with more stories, more interviews, more of everything you came for from Cards Against Humanity, Dive Kick, Soda Drinker Pro, Gearbox, expensive shits and so much fucking more. Check it out and I hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we argued, exhausted and loathed bringing it to you.
We are exhausted now.
Random Assault's Epic-as-fuck PAX East 2013 weekend continues in part two where the guys cover their Saturday experience. Last of Us, Mark of the Ninja, God of Blades, Don't Starve, Gunnar Optiks, Telekinsis Kyle and TONS more interviews and guests to help us go over the insanity that was the event. Check it out and expect part three soon.
Also, check out and Like the Random Assault Facebook page. We got hundreds of PAX photos and articles and updates on the show as well as Facebook exclusive teasers and artwork.
It's that time of the year again and this time Random Assault is fucking press! Oh shit! So join us on our six hour coverage of Pax East 2013 filled with special guests of all statures and buckets of interviews! It's so damn big, we had to split it into three parts. Each part's going to cover a different day of PAX so check out all three. WELCOME TO FRIDAY!
We celebrate St. Patrick's Day a few weeks too late, and we tackle the important issues! We self-bukkake as we look back over the podcast's past episodes. Mitch interrupts people a lot we talk about old games! Matt gushes over the Kirby collection and Mitch and Alex wax poetic over the pink puff's history, Tony wants beer with his fighting game cabinets, Kate completes Skyrim (no, seriously), and Alex has a thing or two to say about Far Cry 3. Then we get into listener questions and Mitch finally fucking snaps.
This week, we actually have a consistent number of things to talk about! In the first segment, we go over the Gearbox/Aliens Colonial Marines debacle. In the second segment, Alex tells us a tale involving Warm Bodies, and in the final segment, we finally get down to brass tacks about the PlayStation 4... a few weeks too late.
Wreck-It-Ralph hits store shelves today and our loveable, foul-mouthed hosts want to tell you if it's worth pouring your sweaty, back-breaking cash into Disney's pockets like you have been for decades. Join Alex, Mitch and Mela as they tell you just what they thought of the latest CG entry in the library with classics like "Chicken Little" and "Meet the Robinsons." ...Okay, it's way better than those.
The fap-off continues! And what an upset it ends up being! Also, we talk about Dreamworks movies (including the pre-3D ones), and Alex vehemently defends Hoodwinked. Because... it's a good movie? I guess?
GIGA... DRILL... PODCAAAAAAAAAAST!! Yes, it's another Minor Assault, and this time it's one that Mitch said would be coming out for months. Join Mitch, Jayson, Jake, and Breen as they do the impossible and see the invisible, as well as gush about this wonderful little anime about robots, willpower, manly souls clashing, and never giving up. First half is (almost 100%) spoiler-free, 2nd half is a spoilerfest. You've been warned!
Get ready to get angry and punch out some gods with a new Minor Assault, this time about Asura's Wrath! Matt and guest star Jake Petersen go over this wonderful little gem of a title.
This week's episode is positively orgasmic! Ahp! Before you kill me for that one, I have a "Tell One Bad Joke And Not Be Murdered" card. Suck it. Anyway, this week we talk about vintage media players, Sonic getting fat, and we do the first half of what is either the best or worst thing we've ever done.
Calling all browncoats! Listen to Tony, Kate and Matt gush about Firefly, The Greatest Show Ever Made™©® in this newest Minor Assault special!
Luke, aka TotalMortalKombat, joins us for an episode where we talk about farts, poops, weird toilets and restaurants, cum shots (not the kind you're thinking of), and a lot of talk about how Americans are fatass slobs. It's a loud, rip-roarin' episode with just a touch of the outback!
Oh, wow! We got a full line-up for you guys! It's a podcast jam-packed full of funny. Mitch and Matt regail the the tale of The Unfinished Swan, Alex continues his rare game saga, Tony gushes about Guyver, and Mitch asks the all-important question that has plagued mankind for eons: why do people put salt on their watermelon?
Ooo, Alex wasn't invited to the Gurren Lagann Minor Assault. And Kate's just her usual bitchy self. So Alex made them pay... with their lives. ...And then Alex, Matt and Tony had a completely normal, relatively fatality-free podcast! Alex talks about his newfound love for Naughty Bear, the guys talk about the new Pokemon games, and then... more rare game talk!
Ending song is "Wake Up" by DeepNorth!
Come, now! Pick your piece and let's get this game a-rollin'! Meanwhile Alex can tell you about watching more of Regular Show, and his disdain for Adventure Time! Tony'll talk about a rare, literally-one-of-a-kind rom that he almost got his hands on, we'll go over special editions of board games, and lastly, Alex watched a buttload of anime! Now hit play on your media player and collect $200, because this episode might be over before the end of an actual game of Monopoly.
Matt, Kate and Tony start off by talking about Django Unchained and other Tarantino flicks, then Mitch hops on just in time to discuss Assassin's Creed 3. Then the whole thing goes to shit as Mitch tries to defend Final Fantasy XIII and eventually it turns to stories of Matt's masturbatory habits, as usual.
The Walking Dead is all the rage right now, being a few seasons deep into its TV show and the Telltale videogame adaptation garnering a ton of praise for furthering the way we use storytelling in games. Matt and Jayson gush (pun intended) about the series in general! OBVIOUSLY, THIS IS GOING TO BE SPOILERIFFIC. BE WARNED.
I'm sure the first segment of this episode is great and all, but I wouldn't know because once again, my router decided to be a piece of shit just in time for recording time! Then, Alex finally gets to gush about Regular Show, and then we get a little un-Apologetic. Prepare for another great EP-I-SOOOODE! OOOOOOOOOOH!!
The Random Assault crew breaks that oh-so flimsy of fourth walls and does a very Christmas-heavy episode despite the fact that it wouldn't have been posted until January. Mitch raises the ghosts of a few cult classic Christmas specials, Kate finally plays Klonoa, Tony muses about Metroid, and Mitch reviews another fucking talking dog movie. It's just another Friday night at the ol' Random Assault roadhouse! (I'm very drunk right now, I don't know what I'm saying)
Ooph. Ooooooph. This one. Thiiiis one. Yeah, it's a good episode, to be sure. But things get a little weird in the middle. Like, really weird. Even for us. Alex nearly abandons ship. Don't say we didn't warn you. Segments 1 and 3 are pretty great, though!
What starts as a normal Christmas celebration for the hosts (and Coughman) turns into a mad-dash hunt to find Mitch for the hosts! (And Jake). A higher Christmas power has intervened, and it may be the end for the resident loudmouth of Random Assault. And to top it all off, an old evil has risen again to make sure that this is the worst Christmas ever! What lengths will the RA hosts go to get their most annoying member back? Will they dare go... religious?!
Download and listen to this epic new special, made with love and lots and lots of blood and sweat and tears and semen.
What'd we talk about on this one? I wouldn't know because I wasn't there for most of it. But I heard tell there were tales of animal dildos, the Donkey Kongs that return to the country, and our boling hatred for Stan Lee. Then we get into Sega games, we smack a few gods, and we reminisce about the board games of old. It's two hours and twenty minutes of pure, unfiltered, mediocre talk radio. Download and enjoy!
Hey, remember when the WiiU details were announced back in the fall? So do we, because that's what we talk about on this episode! We also talk about Double Dragon Neon, Pokemon rip-offs, the whole Bayonetta 2 controversy... and not much else, since it's just Matt, Mitch and Tony, making it a very low-energy (but entertaining nonetheless) episode!
I'm sure Kate will eventually fill out the rest of the details. Don't worry. She's probably on her way right now. Probably.
This week, Mitch and Matt bond over Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors, Alex takes up most of the episode with talk about a certain irreverent game show, the podcast crashes somehow, Kate moves furniture, Tony sits in silence, and Mitch lists off his game collection in a droning deadpan! What else have you come to expect from our show, anyway?!
So, what exactly is this? Well, just because Random Assault is taking a little break doesn't mean it's hosts are. We still meet up at the normal recording times to hash through any business and get caught up on what each other are doing. These have been going so well that we decided to take some of the more interesting normal conversations and edit them into a cast-long enterprise just for you so your heads wouldn't explode waiting for us.
Sometimes, collecting needless trinkets in video games just isn't enough. Kate and Tony are back with a brand new Minor Assault, dishing up all the dirt on how you too can waste hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on video game history.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2012!!!!
It's time again to celebrate one of the greatest holidays there is. Join the Random Assault team as they try to make you piss from both fear and laughter. Hoping to give you the nostalgia of Halloween ghost stories and the nostalgia of getting scared to fucking death over Ar You Afraid of the Dark. Let's just hope there's piss.
Seriously, I would try to fall asleep listening to this one.
MWAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHHAAAHAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oooooooooh, it's been a while hasn't it? Random Assault returns for another fun filled episode chock-full of baby games, enraged transsexuals, and elitist gay people. We're in for a bumpy, politically incorrect ride!
Welcome back! This is part two of two for Random Assault's coverage of the Boston Festival of Indie games 2012. We wrap up everything we may have missed in the first part (that if you haven't listened to, you SHOULD.) Returning hosts Alex "Bloody Shadow" Cabral, Mela Firefly and Josh Zanelis, now with full stomachs (and better audio quality,) give you more news, more interviews and more stupid bullshit in between. Sit back and enjoy.
Welcome to the amazing world of the Boston Festival of Indie Games 2012. With a lot of promotion and hard work, this event was able to draw droves of indie fans to its open doors with the anticipation of indie games of all types. The event, although having been it's first year, did not disappoint and Random Assault was there to cover it and condese everything you need to know into a two-part podcast full of everything the event had to offer. Join your hosts Alex "Bloody Shadow" Cabral, Mela Firefly and newcomer (see: intern) Josh Zanelis as they present tens of games all with insights and interviews (all varying in length and audio quality.) Check it out.
Internet superstar Byron Reed joins us for a laughtastic look at all sorts of shit. It's a very silly episode this week, but try it and you'll love it. Once you go gray, you can never go....
Gay?
Somthing like that.
HOO boy, this one's gonna be controversial. Let's get the elephant in the room out of the way: Matt, Alex and Kate hate Game Grumps. Mitch and Tony sing its praises. I can already hear all of our listeners clicking the unsubscribe button. Other than that, there's talk of game collections, and... puppies. Of course. Because THAT hasn't gotten old yet.
As you can see with your little eyeballs above, young master Mark Breen rejoins us after a whopping 41 episode absence. Naturally, we have plenty of fun but it's all ruined by everyone's computers deciding to commit suicide one after the other. Still, there's more chills, thrills, and pills than you can shake a black market pharmacy at.
This week, it's breakfast, lunch, anime and dinner on Random Assault! The hosts give you a buffet of topics, including an impromptu food theme throughout the episode! Plus, there's some stuff about theme parks, Mitch visits a new arcade that opened up near him, and Alex ACTUALLY likes an anime!
Everything is stupid this week as we look at asinine laws, stupid Sony s***, and spine-tingling horrors from....Something Awful.
Random Assault really lives up to its name this week. Handsome Dave of The POW Block joins us while Matt and Mitch are away on a gay party cruise. The topics are ALL OVER THE PLACE. Get ready for a freewheeling, sloppy wet kiss of a podcast, ladies and germs.
It's a very....well, somewhat musical podcast. Tony gets us all talking game music and Mitch tortures himself once again. Also, porn and basketball.
It's a very super hero-y podcast yet again. Everybody's favourite weird uncle WillyFresh drops by to discuss the new Spider-Man movie, Matt has a hissy fit, and much more Marvely madness.
Despite what the lineup says, Mitch ditched us to go to the beach and tan his appealing and well-sculpted physique. Tony talks about a game he loves but had never played, Alex engages in some shameless pimping, while Kate gets butthurt, and this time it ain't because of no lemon.
We're two men down this week! Mitch is off to save some random-ass dimension and Kate's probably just busy finding new forms of produce to shove up her mud-hole, so this week let Matt, Tony and the ever-soothing Alex serenade you to sleep with tales of love and loss. Also, you know. Mugs. Probably.
Somehow willing to come back after the Lemon Incident, Coughman joins us for another merry-go-round of swears and.....uh....stuff.
We welcome a new creepy uncle to the Random Assault family, none other than the Internet's very own Curtis Stone. We'll walk him and feed him, we promise. Meanwhile, Mitch starts down a path of self-loathing, while Kate and Matt complain. A lot.
The Random Assault team actually does something topical for once! Matt, Alex, Mitch, Tony and Amanda all weigh in on their thoughts on this year's E3 extravaganza. How disappointed will they be? C'mon, we think you know us well enough to answer that for yourselves. But listen anyway, it's a good one.
We chat all about the biggest film of all time ever, Alpha Flight. We're gonna talk a little about this weird things with pages in them, and Tony experiences one of the worst horrors someone without a vagina can experience.
To honor the mysterious and untimely deaths of the Random Assault hosts, the GSPA (Global Shitty Podcast Association) presents this special episode of "Behind the Laughter", detailing the rocky, yet magnificent history of this groundbreaking podcast. Listen to hear the tales of the hosts before and during the show, the final interviews with the hosts, as well as some un-heard bonus content, never before broadcast.
Hosted by Kent Blathers, this episode of Behind the Laughter will touch you in very inappropriate ways. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will cringe. Enjoy, and remember the legacy of these great podcasters.
Come on, we've done 49 of these. You get the idea by now. We're discussing all things animated Batman, some Star of the North Fist (???), and maybe, just maybe, some of the ice and hatred surrounding Alex's heart begins to melt. I think we really made some progress here.
At 6:00 AM this morning local time, our field agents recovered a hard drive containing the missing twenty-fourth episode of the horrible Random Assault. We need this episode analyzed for any leads it might give us toward stopping SlabFlapper before time runs out. Good luck.
Perverse cast-daddy Matt, vengeful porcupine Alex, and the always-smooth-as-sandpaper Mitch convene at the Penny Arcade Expo in scenic Boston, Massachussetts. WillyFresh, Jayson Canning, and Dave Rinehart are all along for the ride! We talk to special guests! We have interviews! We're still no better at giving the other people on the show a chance to speak! Come and listen to our first live show where we talk to real live creeps!
One of our most trollingest fans (?) joins us to confuse the heck out of us and destroy our self esteem. Also Kate muscle-f* her way onto the episode even though we totally asked her to f* off. Sorry.
Alex squees like a small, spastic child, Tony tries to talk about Street Fighter x Tekken, and Kate gets embarrassingly s***faced.
Your eyes do not deceive you! As of this week, we're taking the four-person setup out behind Matt's creepy shed to be put out of its misery. Barring any unfortunate circumstances, you're gonna get all of RA all the time. This week....well, just scroll down will ya?
The lovely Cheryll del Rosario stops by the RA lair to add some much needed class to the joint. Can she put up with four uncouth, obnoxious dorks? Find out on RA 44!
We make Alex pissy with even more anime discussion! With Kate, Mitch, Matt and Tony, what did you expect? Oh, some other stuff happened too, but hey we're chibi and that's super kawaii desu desu desu
Here it is. Our thank you to the fans for getting us up to 100 Likes on Facebook. SO what do we have for your loyalty and support? Well, we dig trough our trash and put togeter a podcast with bad audio...
You're WELCOME!
We're joined by our first guest in a while. Le's been one of the best and brightest of our fan artists and this week he creeps to the microphone like an assassin to discuss all manner of art, tomfoolery, appropriate school conduct and fine clothing.
It's Minor Assault Mortal Kombat edition! With your hosts Alex Cabral, Tony Johnson and SPECIAL GUEST Luke Cunningham (TotalMortalKombat) we bring you a fandom like no other. Coving just about everything MK from games to other media, the fantstically awesome to the terribly horrific, and everything else we can find to refference. IT HAS BEGUN!!!
Drew returns from a record-breaking 7-episode hiatus, and it turns out, he spent his time actually playing games. SEE! Drew bring content. HEAR! Drew talk a lot. FEEL! The shock and awe of his cohosts.
Oh, maaaannnn...this week's all about getting drunk and stoned with your friends. It's totally mellow maaannn....grab your Cheetos and get ready for the Random Assault Bongcast.
Through dubious means, we come back to you from beyond the grave! How? Well, that would be telling, wouldn't it? Despite the strain of resurrection, we decided to carry on with our mission to delight you all everydfgsdfhkjwr;..llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Aww, who cares. We're back and David Rhinehart of The Pow Block is here!
Tony and Mitch take you on a fast, blue-colored journey through the redemption of Sega's hyperactive little mascot! It's just two Sonic fans geeking out over one of the character's best recent games!
Holy mother of f***, this episodes is absolutely jam-packed with everything you want from an RA episode. Game talk, community service, listener (sorta) questions, interviews, and a ton of petty bickering. Settle into your comfy chair for this epic-length episode.
Hello and welcome to a brand new Random Assault series called Minor Assault! This new show will be a way for us to discuss topics that we cannot bring up on the main Random Assault cast or to accompany articles such as the Full Metal Alchemist cast by Kate and Jayson. And before anyone asks, yes, I stole this idea from Kate and am now claiming it as my own, like any great boss would do!
Billy 'Willyfresh' Fretshl joins Matt in the secret Random Assault Podcave under an abandoned Circuit City to discuss all things Spider-man! Here is a taste of some of the things we talked about!
This week Matt wasn't here to keep us in line, so Alex, Mitch and Kate go way, way, way overboard, while Tony gets quietly drunk and rethinks his life.
Holy s***, kids, RA is back for another year. Unless we kill each other. Time will tell. Tons of game content, a discussion on the nature of comedy, and shameless pimping of our "new" site. Which you're reading this on. And is over a month old. Oh, well.
Happy New Year everyone! As a special surprise we're uploading the Random Assault Christmas Special recording complete and unedited! Witness the awe inspiring talent! Quake at the sheer magnitude of comedic genius! Thrill at the unprofessionalism!
Twas a few days before Christmas, 'tis the podcast you crave
To achieve this fine special, we all worked like slaves.
On iTunes we hung the podcast with care,
But you won't read this, so just download it there.
Goddammit, kids. Are you ready for the final regular episode of the year? This is (almost) it, motherf**, so sit the fudge down and enjoy.
This wintry week is filled with actual game content, shocking revelations, thrills, spills, and a very special guest.
Holy f***, children! After our harrowing escape from the clutches of the vile SlabFlapper on Halloween night, we had to lay low for a while, scrounging food out of British trash cans and working on the street to pay for our tickets home.
In this MASSIVE Halloween Podcast, your beloved hosts are thrown into a dark and mysterious place to see if they can live through the night and conquer a horror cliche so big, it might as well be Kate's ass.
You kids like Fullmetal Alchemist? Well, ya better, because we've got a 90-minute mini cast where myself and special guest Jayson Canning nerd out and spoil everything!
So, if you want a more in-depth discussion of the series than the spoiler free review allowed, give this a listen.
Well, we finally got all those damned freeloaders out of the RA Mansion. This week, Mitch brings up stuff no one has heard of or cares about, Tony tells us all about Eurogamer, and Alex finally has had enough of Kate bashing Minecraft.
We’re joined by Billy Fretschl, know to the internet as WillyFresh, Phantom of Krankor, and known to Alex as “my chew toy. We blather on about Deus Ex, lies our parents tell us, and more stereotypes than a record store.
What?! A real girl? Alex brings home his special lady to meet the cast, and instead of any semblance of decorum, we ramble our way through discussions on pornography, body parts, and the power of the human spirit. Meanwhile, Kate grapples with her Pinocchio complex. It’s a laid back, shoot-the-s*** kinda show this week, so gather round and let us whisper sweet nothings in your ears.
With no one responsible to supervise us, we produce… an on-topic, relatively filth-free podcast?! This can’t be right. Well, anyway, this week Drew tells us everything we never cared about Dead Island and Catherine, Tony brings us iPhone apps, a Community Service brought to you by Sesame Street, and Kate incurs the wrath of the Comic Nazi.
Two guests in a row? The one and only Ben Coughman joins us this week. We tried to get rid of him, but he just wouldn’t leave. It’s Christmas in September as we discuss family holiday traditions, new and fun uses for citrus fruit, and the ghost of 90s past.
I have no idea what happened because I forgot. So this landing page is now all about me.
Mark 'breener' Breen pays us a visit from the land of alcoholism and gingers, to discuss whether on not there really is gold at the end of that rainbow.
No, you didn't miss an episode of the best filthy podcast no one ever comments on. After a wild evening involving a fish, a wizard, and a tugboat, Matt went on a wonderful vision quest through the barren wastelands of Delaware, which destroyed his ability to count. Long story short, he made 25 first.
CARTOOOOOOOOOOOOOONS! We’re adults, you know. Talking about all the bulls*** of our childhood and how nothing is as good as it was… except that everything is a ripoff of what it was. From Nicktoon to Beavis and Butt-Head (we like the full spectrum) Mitch, Matt, Drew, Kate go on and on and on and on and on and aon (okay, you know I’m reffering to Mitch, right?) Just shut up and enjoy.
In our FIRST EPISODE EVER we try to figure out how the hell to podcast and see if it's ever possible to stay on topic (SPOILER : it's not.) We range from talking about our favorite voice actors to our pathetic N64 days, the burdens of 3D gimmickery to our cum schedules. I swear we tried to stay on topic.
It's our best one yet! We finally finish introducing the six main hosts. We're just in time to fall for a painfully obvious April Fools joke. Yeah, yeah, we're idiots... but you get to enjoy it. Let's chit chat about anime, Street Fighter, GameStop and waaaaaay more.
This week is the best week in world history. Remember exactly where you were the day this event took place, because we’re ready to rock all the balls you’ve ever had right the f*** off. Curtis “zabu_san Stone from the podcast PCN-Gen joins in on our absolute ridiculousness, and boy is it a treat. Someday, mankind will evolve to the point that our ears will form their own mouths. On that day, they can thank us for this podcast.
A triumphant return from our Cast-Daddy Matt and an expected appearance from our tenchnology depraved every-guru Alex make Tony and Drew play up things like we’ve needed in a while. Yeah, we decided to do a good episode again. Going back to our roots and assembling the cast from our very first episode, let’s see if we can bring you guys back to liking us… anyone?! We talk about zombies and some other s and Matt does his COMMUNITY SERVICE which is not only unexpected, but goofy as s!
Chaos continues to reign supreme as Matt is still nowhere to be found leaving our hosts without a guide and, with Alex still in technical hell, lost to fight off Mitch’s loquaciousness and claw their way to the internet.
Wait... things are actually ORGANIZED?! How the hell did we manage that? Structured subjects range from the 3DS Launch to Sonic the Hedgehog, the downfall of shooters and launch stories...
That is, until Alex and Kate show up and the structure falls apart.
This week, Drew comes back and he has a lot to catch up with. Clearly we haven’t lost our touch and, somehow, we have more subjects to talk about than usual. Learn how to save money by PC gaming, talk about current gamer rage and get some more long overdue 3DS reactions. Oh man are we timely!
A clusterf*** of awesome. We welcome a very special guest and devoted fan to the cast and we go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. Oh yeah, and we do some community stuff. Honestly, I don’t remember what we talked about but I remember having a lot of fun. Tune in and see what I’m talking about… then tell me what happened. Like I said, I totally forget.
We welcome back the original four from the hit Fox Show "TDAR COMMUNITY EXTRAVAGANZA" to see what can happen when they are given a second chance to shine! Spewing out stories of injury, theme parks... and something else I can't remember...
Nyahahahahaha! Oh what memories! This was the time when I STRUCK A MORTAL BLOW to Alex's laptop, rendering it lifeless AND FULL OF BEES. This resulted in that ANNOYING PISS DRIP Mitch having to do all the art and banners! Turns out he did a pretty good job though...er...I AM SLABFLAPPER LORD OF MAYHEM!
Perhaps bringing content to the show was the best idea we ever had. Inaccurrately named, this episode is nonstop as we talk about everything from sitcoms to cancelled TV shows, community to our own self hatred… oh, and, of course, video games… cause we do that.
We join our four hosts as they face their greatest challenge yet: figuring out how to make content after 14 weeks of talking about nothing. Will they find a way? How will they do it?! Tune in next week for… I mean, this week… Download the damn episode.
I screwed this episode up real good, and precious Matthew didn't even know it was me yet! YOU FOOLS! Do you not realize that I am the Master of the Arcane?!
So… here’s the deal: every podcast has a bad episode. Our earlier episodes were pretty bad, but the jokes were good and they could be worth listening to. This one, though… ugh… this one will go down as our “Bad one. So endure with us as we take you through a laundry list of things you don’t do for a podcast. So bad that Alex starts getting mad and fighting with everyone through most of the first hour. It’s a a mess. (Editor's Note: Alex is a baby)
This week every single member shows up to the show directly after waking up. Will their massive fatigue keep them from being lude, loud and loquacious? Nope. We bring up the obligatory rapture and… hell, I don’t know, we’re all over the place. You should get how this works by now.
Have you ever put four tazmanian devils into a burlap sack and then violently kicked them down the stairs? No? Well then, you’re about to hear something you’ve never heard before. Join Random Assault as hosted by the four loudest, outspoken and downright quoteable members all at once. Your ears will either bleed or orgasm. Then, the third segment takes it down a notch and digs deep into their minds as we find out what horrifies them to the core. Be afraid…
As we wipe our feet on the welcome mat of Front Towards Gamer, we kick things off with a James Bond themed podcast. Why? Because we’re incredibly unfunny and number things in triple digits. But, you know us, we can barely stay on topic when it’s about something we enjoy. Let alone something we barely care about. And if you DON’T know us, HI we are Random Assault: the best thing to ever happen to audio. Enjoy everyone!
With the release of the new Mortal Kombat, Alex hijaks the podkast to bring light onto the series. Sure, they talk about other things. But who kares?! They go through MK's history, trivia, and the new game (SPOILER FREE!) Also, Alex's audio is pretty krappy in the first segment, but we figure it out and hope that all this stupid bad audio is a thing of the past. NOW... FIGHT!
It's the podcast that almost wasn't. When severe technical difficulties plague the crew, they put their hands in and, like a group of robotic turtle men, combine to work their talents to the limit and struggle to grasp the last hopes to get a podcast together and ready. As Alex talks and talks with no feedback, Skype crashes several times, and Mitch being personally pulled down to hell by Satan himself mid segment, the podcast claws it's way to safety... but will it survive? YOU be the judge.
WARNING! This episode is ATROCIOUS! Sure, the CONTENT is as good as it ever is...but the AUDIO, oh DEAR poor annoying MITCH tried his hardest with this episode because LAZY INCOMPETENT MATTHEW refused to work on it! But are we really surprised? I am really proud of the work I did with this one...oh yes...
