Honke and Mac (The Matt’s) were hanging out again and decided to get friend of the Redcast, Tyler Pedersen, on the line to talk a little Husker football. Tyler attended last Saturday’s scrimmage and gives us a little insight on the physicality at practice, the transition from fall camp to Minnesota game prep, and the relationship he has with Coach Rhule and others inside the program.

We did an epic crossover this week with the fellas from the No Block No Rock (NBNR) podcast (who are also members of the Hurrdat Sports family). We took a deep dive into the Huskers roster, starting position-by-position with the Offense (15:20) and then finish up with the defense (1:16:50). Inventors of the hashtag #FireEverybody, we welcomed Message Board Geniuses & Hoos Football (Co-Hosts of the Message Board Geniuses podcast) to the Redcast this week.

Things have been busy on the Redcast of late. Redcast Rob pulls a little overtime this week doing a Valentine’s Day lunch time interview with new Husker OL Kevin Williams Jr. Kevin came to Lincoln over the offseason via the transfer portal after 4 years in Rob’s neck of the woods (Greeley, CO) playing for the University of Northern Colorado after a successful high school career at Omaha North High School. Now he’s back in the Good Life and ready to get rolling with Spring Ball on February 28 and to earn a spot on the Pipeline.

Webster’s defines apathy as a “lack of feeling or emotion, interest or concern”. Well good news Redcasters, based on the number of texts, tweets & emails we received from you over the past 3 days in ALL CAPS, we would say most of you do not fit that description.
