Wesley’s website: https://www.survivinghumanity.net/
About Wesley
While being blessed and privileged in many ways, much of Wesley’s life has been rife with mental, emotional, and even physical abuse.
Due to this, he spent much of his life living with feelings of anger, fear, guilt, and shame bottled up inside him.
This trauma was made worse due to being “twice-exceptional”, leading to a life full of hardship and misunderstanding.
What all of these experiences ultimately led to was a life completely full of denial and a near-absolute void of self-love.
He has gotten through this by reconnecting with his authentic self from childhood - before all of the conditioning and programming.
Wesley believes that if we hope to ever collectively heal this world, we must begin by first discarding the guilt, shame, and fear we feel when it comes to both expressing our authentic truths and acknowledging our lived experiences for what they were.

HOW CAN THE DECISIONS WE MAKE IMPACT OUR FUTURES?
On this episode we are joined by Eric Daddario. Eric helps students and student-athletes understand how making better life decisions now leads to a more fulfilling life. For places to listen, places to connect on social media, to be a guest, collaborate with or sponsor DTE visit: https://linktr.ee/DisruptTheEveryday
Eric’s website: https://thedecisionswemake.com/
About Eric
Students are struggling to make healthy choices when dealing with pain and adversity. As a result, they make unhealthy decisions that do not solve their problems and are more likely to make them worse. This can lead to mental health challenges, including addiction, anxiety, and depression. Unfortunately, many youths believe they deserve what they are experiencing and, without help, will continue further down their darkened paths.
Eric helps students and student-athletes understand how making better life decisions now leads to a more fulfilling life. Through stories and examples, the students and athletes learn how they can immediately change the course of their own lives and the lives of others.
In our conversation, I include real-life experiences, including having witnessed my younger brother make poor decisions that ultimately led to his death. Of course, we also discuss people who have turned their lives around through making positive choices.
If your audience includes students, student-athletes, or their teachers and parents, I would enjoy the opportunity to show them how the decisions they make every day can have long-term consequences on their lives.

About Darryl in his words
My oldest of two boys, Chase, attended college on a football scholarship. He dropped out in the second semester of his freshman year after developing a drug addiction. When I first learned of Chase's drug habit, I didn't know anything about substance use disorders, and I panicked. I made a lot of parenting mistakes. Through an intervention, we were able to get Chase into treatment, but I didn't realize the proper role of the family in the recovery process. In some ways I was enabling Chase and doing things that may have contributed to his eventual relapse. I worried about Chase constantly, but it seemed as though my efforts to help him only made matters worse. Chase returned home from treatment and was doing well with his recovery at first, but months later, he relapsed and in 2014 at the age of 20, Chase died in a drug-impaired wreck. Chase was a passenger in the front seat of his own car. The 18-year-old driver took her own life 7 months later. After Chase died, I immersed myself in learning everything I could about substance use disorders. (drug & alcohol addiction). I wrote a book about Chase's life. I began doing drug prevention speaking. I read books about addiction, attended seminars, and watched videos. I volunteered to facilitate a peer support group for parents with children struggling with a substance use disorder. There is no cure for a substance use disorder, but I have discovered steps parents can take to give their child the best opportunity at recovery.

About Jeanne
Jeanne Andrus spent the first 48 years of her life doing everything the "right way." You know, good grades, college, marriage, career, baby... all the things. Then at age 48, perimenopause clobbered her. But her symptoms weren't changing periods and hot flashes. Depression, anger, and low libido took her out of the life she'd built for herself. Determined not to let this change destroy her, she began a 4 year journey to health, happiness, and a new purpose in life. She lost 80 pounds, moved from New England to New Orleans, and quit her corporate job to help other women struggling with menopause symptoms and changes ditch their symptoms and delight in life again. Wanting to understand how and why menopause affects women so completely, Jeanne spends hours down the rabbit holes of the internet, chasing wisps of information about the physical, emotional, mental, and social aspects of “The Change.” She blends her own experience, the results of her research, and her training in traditional exercise and nutrition with a myriad of holistic approaches including Reiki energy healing and yogic breathwork to create a unique coaching experience she calls Menopause Mastery Coaching. In addition to her coaching, Jeanne is the author of five international best sellers on menopause, including “I Just want to Be ME Again!” (now in its second edition) and her book aimed towards men trying to understand how menopause is affecting someone they love – “Where is My Wife and What Have You Done with Her?” When not speaking, writing and coaching about menopause, she loves hanging out in New Orleans, listening to live music or riding in Mardi Gras parades, or traveling the US with her husband and dog.

In this fantasy, non-fiction, funny-as-cancer-can-be musical theatre fever dream fueled by chemo, alcohol, sex, & heartbreak you will experience the honest, raw & oftentimes hilarious view of Edward, as he navigates his way through the painful realities of being a full-time cancer patient - indecencies, heartbreaks, wins, shenanigans & more. With no choice but to watch as his relationships, career & life disintegrate before his eyes on the wings of a themed musical montage, Edward faces hard truths, dehumanizing situations, & death, all while scores of nurses & doctors carelessly belt & fan-kick in his face. From diagnosis to cancer free status, the things that go down in your life, the things that shift and change and redirect is insurmountable. I was broken up with, had one of my best friends stop talking to me, missed out on huge career opportunities, all while losing my hair, my body, my sense of identity, and having to plan a funeral - mine. Once I was given the 'get out of cancer free' card, everyday things were a total dirge. I couldn't comprehend why, after having been given this new chance, this new lease on life I was having a hard time doing the daily basics. It wasn't until a chance encounter with a newly dubbed cancer free human that the conversation of 'what is happening to me' cracked wide open. There is no going back; only forward.

From being a former drug addict and divorced in my late twenties to a pastor to losing my 17-year-old son in a tragic plane crash to inspiring people to be courageous humans. I have lived a very layered life. At 12 years old I faced living with a mother that suffered from suicidal ideation, which on two occasions almost cost me my own life. During our 20-year marriage together, Amárillys and I have experienced a miscarriage and two sons born prematurely (Gabriel at 3 lbs 12 ozs & Liam at 1 lb 14 ozs) because of her life (and theirs) being threatened by a pregnancy disease. While giving birth to our middle son Joel, we had another close call as she had great difficulty waking up from the anesthesia. There have been many other scary moments and setbacks. There have also been some amazing experiences and victories!
All of these challenges helped prepare me for the greatest blow of losing my oldest son to tragedy. There are foundational mindsets, values, and character traits I have lived by that have empowered me (and my family) to be resilient and thrive again no matter what life throws at us! My mission is to develop Courageous Humans that desire to live Inspiring Lives!

Coach Drew’s Story
Anxious, scared, sad, and unsure are emotions that dominated my childhood. I was the smart kid who showed a lot of promise but kept my fears inside. Growing up in church, being talented, athletic, and well-liked by most didn't stop my silent fears from turning into depression as a self-loathing teen.
I played it safe as best as possible and had a hard time making decisions and living courageously.
I know anxiety and trauma from the inside out. Being bullied, witnessing acts of violence, and fearing punishment of all kinds kept me silent for a long time.
Things are different now. It feels good to be free! Free to speak, to write, to laugh, to cry, to coach, to care... to live!
The journey from insecurity and sadness to confidence and joy enables me to journey with others with insight and compassion.
Helping others live freely - this is what I do.

Danielle’s website: https://daniellejoworski.com/
Danielle’s Instagram @daniellejorowski
About Danielle in her words
In 2015 I stepped off the corporate ladder and became an entrepreneur. There was no plan or realization of what it meant to be one - that I was the face + voice of my business. I could not hide behind the name of the company I worked for, because I was the company. That first company failed because I failed to be visible. I held back from being seen, heard, found or hired.
A mountain of debt, desperation to support my family, needing to rid myself of the shame and guilt of failing were critical drivers behind my return to corporate. The return also provided a much-needed sense of safety and security that allowed me to regroup, reframe, and reshape the beliefs around who I am.
Best decision ever.
I may have failed that first time around, but I'm not a failure.
Failing was the catalyst for the work that I do today and why I focus on the concept of visibility from the inside out. I want other women to avoid the experiences I had and thrive in their current businesses, especially now when the world needs to experience that thing only you can do.

My wife sat me down and explained why she needed to quit her $40k a year job to she could provide "mommy-care" and not have to resort to "day-care".
So I started with niche blogging, YouTube and affiliate marketing.
18 months later, we were making enough to pay off our debt and retire my wife.

In her own words
I’ve lived through multiple divorces, married my husband twice and raised a brood of boys which only goes to prove God is full of grace and mercy. He has guided me through breast cancer, bathroom renovations and menopausal hormones.
I want to encourage women of all ages that they’re not alone. As a former black sheep turned “Jesus girl”, my redeemed life screams of the prodigal daughter unmistakably chosen. And it’s this hope, this story of redemption and God’s indisputable faithfulness that I bring to encourage women.
My first book “Listen,Sister! Finding Hope In The Freakshow of Life” (Morgan James Publishers) launches June 14, 2022. It’s a collection of short, embarrassing yet true stories that reveal how God teaches through every experience, reminding us where our hope lies.
Women need to laugh, and they need truth. Bam!

Corporations, municipalities, and NGOs like Anthem, Inc., the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the City of Indianapolis, and the National Society of Black Engineers invite Nate to share his practical message for living the life we’ve always imagined while also serving the greater good.
A modern-day Renaissance Man, as evidenced by the diversity of his education, including a bachelor in accounting, masters in history and theology, and doctor of jurisprudence combined with a wide range of personal experiences and professions, are only part of what makes his wide-ranging presentations “can’t miss” events. What truly sets Nate apart from others is his unique oft times comical ability not only to see the world differently but to challenge his audiences in an edutaining way to live outside the box so that the world might be able to experience us at our very best.
As a zealous advocate that every person has an opportunity to maximize their human potential, Nate regularly shares through books, courses, workshops, and conferences a backward design life process initially created to help his unborn child become a great global citizen and meet the rigorous educational requirements of the top colleges and universities without means of wealth, privilege, legacy status, fraud, bribery, cheating or Adobe Photoshop.
Turner’s son not only met Harvard’s admission benchmarks (i.e., test scores in the top 1%, 33 college credits by his junior year, proficiency in four languages, left home after his junior year to play soccer in Brazil; and started a foundation to address teen homelessness); he eviscerated the profiled criterion by his sixteenth birthday. At present, Turner’s son is a third-year Electrical and Computer Engineering Ph.D. candidate at one of the world’s premier graduate engineering schools. Today, those tools, techniques, and strategies initially created to help his Gen Zer thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution are educational and life development staples for students and parents of all ages and organizations worldwide.

For places to listen, places to connect on social media, to be a guest, collaborate with or sponsor DTE visit: https://linktr.ee/DisruptTheEveryday
James’ Website: https://www.woodallwealthmanagement.com/
About James
James Woodall is the Founder and CEO of Woodall Wealth Management. James’ passion for Wealth Management has always been around, as a child he was fascinated by the stock market in Junior Achievement and had always been drawn to investing. He graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in International Economics and Finance after studying Mechanical Engineering and realizing it wasn’t for him. Moving into the Finance industry he fell in love with Wealth Management and worked with advisors for a decade when he realized his passion for financial planning and becoming an advisor himself. Still dealing with the effects of his Grandfather’s passing and seeing the impact of estate plans going awry, he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification from the CFP® Board, using the Southern Methodist University’s program.
The desire to build a firm focused on planning for generations so that others avoid the family issues that derive from poor estate planning pushed him to open his firm in 2022. When James isn’t working you can find him reading, cooking excessively large meals for family and friends, or slowly learning to golf.
More About James in his words
I started working in the back office of a large financial institution a decade ago focusing clients of all types to help them review their tax forms and review cost basis issues. Initially I was not a fan of the role, however sitting in that seat allowed me to see what worked and what didn't work, from large family offices ($50 million+) to people starting out, and I always kept in mind what they did. Then I moved to supporting advisors and was always stunned at how little some advisors knew, not just from an operational POV, but an investment POV as well. From there I worked in product development supporting advisors and that's when I fell in love with being an advisor. I moved to the advisory side of that large brokerage firm and loved the clients and realized that I wasn't being an advisor, I was being an asset gatherer.
From there I moved to a small Wealth Management shop and worked 16+ hr days and studied for my CFP, learning everything there is to learn. At that point the firm was sold and I moved into being a consultant for advisors at a small broker dealer. The call of being an advisor and building a firm the right way to truly spend time with the clients and their families was too much and I started Woodall Wealth Management.
My focus is on Family Stewards and Family Businesses to help provide them financial peace of mind. The reason why I focus on this niche is when my Grandfather passed there was no estate plan, causing issues within the family that still last to this day. So my mission is to help my clients avoid that from the outset and its been extremely rewarding and fulfilling.

About Mark in his words
As a child, I exhibited bizarre actions such as neck thrusting, facial grimacing, eye blinking, barking, and screaming, which caused me to be ostracized in school. I got in many fistfights, had poor grades, and was suspended from school frequently. In short, I was a teacher's worst nightmare. Despite this, I was fortunate to have some very caring educators who inspired me to do my best in everything I did.
When I was 17, my father took me to a neurologist who diagnosed me with Tourette's syndrome. Although we finally had an answer for my behavior, this was just the first chapter of my journey with a disability.
After barely graduating high school, I was admitted into college on a probationary status. Every day was a battle with my Tourette's symptoms and the side effects of medications. A brain injury in 2000 also caused me to develop a significant stutter that made communicating with others exasperating. But I overcame these challenges and earned a BA in English.
As I considered where I wanted to go from there, I thought about the people who made a positive impact on my life growing up; the answer was easy — educators. So, I decided to pursue an MA in Special Education, which I completed in 2005.
I began teaching special education in 2008 and quickly became known as "Mr. C" to my students. I fell madly in love with teaching and realized that my disability served as a bridge with my students. They realized that "Mr. C." was "different", so they were able to identify with me in a unique way.
My passion for teaching kids with disabilities has inspired me to share my story of triumph and success, as well as the poignant anecdotes and life lessons I have experienced with my students. Through poetry, memoir, and humor, I prove that anyone can conquer any challenge with a positive attitude, hard work, and determination.
Today, I am a published author, a motivational speaker, and a disability advocate. It's been a long journey from being the teacher's worst nightmare to becoming a success story they can be proud of, but it's taught me so much about myself and life that I can now share with others.

About Theresa in Her Own Words
My name is Theresa Nast and I'm the founder and designer of West Rock Apparel Co., a children's wear brand, a mom to 5 wild ones, and someone with a great deal of experience with postpartum mental health struggles. I hope by sharing my story I'm able to help someone else feel a little less alone in their journey.
My brand, West Rock Apparel Co., is a collection of baby and children's clothing for families who appreciate natural fibers and neutral designs, sustainability and ethically produced goods. For families who want to know where their clothing comes from, where it was made and who made it. I am creating a brand who will give back to the new mothers and babies in our community. And I just can't wait to get started.
Maternal mental healthcare is something that is near and dear to me. It is so widely stigmatized and many new mothers try to navigate postpartum depression and or postpartum anxiety alone, for many different reasons.
Aside from ethical clothing manufacturing and highlighting sustainable fabrics, one of my goals through West Rock Apparel Co is to give back to the new parents in my community struggling in their new role. These mamas and babies deserve to know they are seen and heard and loved.

WHY ARE VALUE ADDS SUPERIOR TO DISCOUNTS?
On this episode we are joined by Marco Torres. Marco is a serial entrepreneur who began his entreneurial experience at the age of 9. Marco shares his knowledges gained from building multiple businesses, losing it all and reinventing himself. On this episode we discuss:
For places to listen, places to connect on social media, to be a guest, collaborate with or sponsor DTE visit: https://linktr.ee/DisruptTheEveryday
Marco’s website: https://marketingboost.com/
Marco’s YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0Ge98RukWA28p25gPnf-eA
About Marco
Marco Torres is the Founder of MarketingBoost.com, he has helped thousands of business owners worldwide boost sales and scale their businesses by as much as 5-fold through the use of incentive-based marketing. He teaches entrepreneurs how to soar sales & marketing through the use of “Value-Add-Incentives” instead of discounts. His Facebook Groups combined are home to more than 80,000 active business owners who are raking in sales with his advice and amazingly affordable travel incentive subscription program.
He was recently interviewed on Entrepreneurs on Fire with John Lee Dumas about Value Add Incentives vs Discounting Prices. He is the Co-Founder of Marketingboost.com. He has taught thousands of entrepreneurs how to Improve Sales & Marketing.
Marco Torres has been an entrepreneur since age 9 when he started his first business as a paperboy. By the age of 12, he had the biggest paper route in San Juan Puerto Rico where he grew up and was featured on the front page of the newspaper for his accomplishment.
Born in San Antonio Texas from Mexican heritage Marco inherited the spirit of adventure from his parents. His dad Charlie was transferred with General Electric GECC, to San Juan Puerto Rico to take over the Caribbean market. His parents packed up and left their home and family to move across the sea to the small island of Puerto Rico in the 1960s. That set the stage for Marco to grow up with the spirit of adventure and entrepreneurship.
After a year or so of college, Marco decided he wanted a different path and convinced the family to open Mexican Restaurants on the island. In 5 years between him, his brother David and Mom Sonia they had 5 restaurants in Puerto Rico, St Thomas, St Croix. USVI.
Marco then went on to open an after-hours nightclub, in San Juan, by the age of 23.
He later moved to Florida to bring up his young family and ended up in the travel industry running telesales and marketing for a big private corporation. He developed the internet marketing strategies in the late 1990s and early 2000s that brought in nearly a Billion dollars over 8 years for this company before branching out with some new partnerships to launch Bookvip.com in late 2008
He and his partners grew the fastest growing travel company in North America from 2010 to 2020 with Bookvip.com. One of the early challenges for bookvip was the need for reviews and video testimonials so they created their own travel incentives to reward travelers to film a selfie video from the resort’s pool, beach, or other backdrop and publish them bragging about Bookvip and the resort they were staying at. This turned out to be hugely successful and before long they were leveraging tens of thousands of video testimonials on their website and reaching sales of 250 million with over 1 million travelers to date.
The light went off in Marco’s head as this travel incentive idea could be a stand-alone business that they could offer to other small businesses which eventually became what Marketingboost.com is today.
Marco aka “Capt. Marco” (the avid sailor) now spends most of his working time helping small and medium-sized businesses boost sales, and improve conversion rates without spending more money with the use of the Travel incentives his firm provides with a low-cost subscription model starting at only $37 a month.
He and his partners have revolutionized the incentive industry by making a complimentary hotel stay certificates from 3 to 7 nights in over 125 worldwide destinations, plus hotel savings cards, and restaurant vouchers incredibly affordable, allowing the small business to stand out from the crowd and compete with the big boys.

About Katherine in her words
“Some believe in destiny and some believe in fate, but I believe that happiness is something we create.” If you’re a Sugarland fan, too, then you recognize this lyric. It’s my favorite from their hit song, Something More.
It’s completely true. We’re presented opportunities for happiness in life and work. But unless we make the effort to pursue those opportunities, we’ll never know what it means to be happy.
I’m Katherine Klimitas, artist, speaker, author and graphic designer.
I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta, better known as Brittle Bone Disease. I get around in an electric wheelchair. I’m 2 feet, 7 inches tall. And by age 10, I had broken 500+ bones. But there was no way my parents and I were going to let my disease dictate my happiness. They made me want to make something of myself, and I was going to be happy doing it—end of story.
During my senior year at Loyola University, I started KAK Art & Designs. While my services have changed since 2011, I’ve stayed focused on 2 key areas: 1) expanding my reach and capabilities as a watercolor artist; and 2) motivating others to contribute to their communities.
After owning my business for nearly a decade, what keeps me striving for something more?
I want my work to bring people joy.
I paint, speak, write, donate my paintings to animal causes and take on music industry creative projects.

DO YOU HAVE THE COURAGE TO SELL EVERYTHING AND CHANGE THE PATH OF YOUR LIFE?
On this episode we are joined by author, podcaster, and RV enthusiast, Dan Clouser. Dan and his wife Sandy sold everything and explored the US by RV. On this episode we discuss:
For places to listen, places to connect on social media, to be a guest, collaborate with or sponsor DTE visit: https://linktr.ee/DisruptTheEveryday
Dan’s Website: https://journeyofmymothersson.com/
About Dan in his own words
MY NAME IS DAN CLOUSER. I AM AN AUTHOR AND A SPEAKER.
I founded and ran a nonprofit youth sports organization for 30 years called the Berkshire Baseball & Softball Club, which later became the BIG Vision Foundation. We ran teams, tournaments and a 130 acre sports complex. I loved every second of what I did. I loved working with kids and teaching them leadership skills and life lessons through sports and community service. I thought that I would have died doing what I loved.
Then in 2019, I felt a calling from God for my wife, Sandy, and I decided to leave our comfort zone and start a new journey. A literal journey, selling most of our material things and setting out across this beautiful country in an RV with our golden retriever, Youkilis. Sounds crazy, but it was also destined to happen. You see I was raised by a hippy named Loretta Magary, she was a free spirit who quit her job and embarked on her own journey in the mid-1980’s. Her journey started in a 1967 Plymouth Valiant with the back seat removed to make a bed and a .38 Special for protection and later evolved into a 1978 Toyota camper. After she passed away in 2005, we were able to experience a small part of her journey by going through her old photos and letters. The people that she met along the way were amazing. I’ll be conducting coaching workshops for Positive Coaching Alliance on our travels, but more importantly, this is our chance to continue my mother’s legacy. We will tell the stories of the people that we meet along the way.
This is truly “The Journey of My Mother’s Son” and as Michael Franti says in the opening verse of his song, “Gloria,” “When many little people in many little places, Do many little things, then the whole world changes.” It will be our job to share and tell the stories of those “Many Little People” through this podcast and my writing. Some of the people that we interview may be famous, most will not be, but they’ll all have a story to tell about the difference they’re making. Some stories will still have a sports theme, others spiritual, some will be about music, others about food, some will talk about travel, but all will be about the many little people, in the many little places who are doing the many little things to make the whole world change. We pray that you enjoy these stories and are inspired to do your own little things to make this world a better place for all of us.

About Julie in her words
I set out to answer a big question,
What difference do teachers really make in the lives of their students?
Since then, I have talked to hundreds of people about teachers who made an impact on their lives. As a qualitative researcher, I love to collect people’s stories. Chalk and Chances started as a research project, an attempt to answer my big question, but it turned into a mission.
I call myself a teacher, researcher and story collector. After playing school as a kid, I spent fifteen years as an early childhood and elementary school teacher. Over the next ten years as an assistant principal and principal, I loved seeing the educators in my school stretch and grow. During my time as a school administrator, I earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida.
Now I am a professor, teaching graduate students and also teaching people around the country to make a bigger impact on those they serve. I am a nationally known speaker and the author of Safe, Seen, and Stretched in the Classroom: The Remarkable Ways Teachers Shape Students’ Lives and Unmapped Potential: An Educator’s Guide to Lasting Change. I am forever grateful to my teachers, and I hope my work honors them.
Wishing you an endless supply of chalk and chance

HOW WOULD UNDERSTANDING THE PERSONALITIES OF PEOPLE AROUND EFFECT YOUR DAILY INTERACTIONS?

For places to listen, places to connect on social media, to be a guest, collaborate with or sponsor DTE visit: https://linktr.ee/DisruptTheEveryday
Merrick’s website: https://merrickrosenberg.com/
About Merrick
Merrick Rosenberg is an entrepreneur, keynote speaker, and the leading expert on how personality drives behavior and success. He co-founded Team Builders Plus in 1991 and Take Flight Learning in 2012. He is the author of four award-winning books about tapping into the power of your personality: The Chameleon, Taking Flight!, Personality Wins, and Which Bird Are You?.
In Merrick’s first job out of college, he worked as a management consultant. He quickly realized that you can change the process, but nothing great happens in a dysfunctional work environment. So, back to school he went to earn an M.B.A. specializing in Organizational Development. While working on his degree, he discovered team building and he was hooked. The day after he graduated, he started Team Builders Plus, one of the first team building companies in the United States.
As he began leading team building events, it became clear that personality conflicts significantly impacted team dynamics. He discovered the DISC styles in 1994 and began leading training programs to help people understand themselves and enable them to create an engaging culture.
It was at this point that he began to innovate the personality styles world. By infusing team building activities into DISC training programs, he made the training more interactive and he brought the styles to life. But he felt that this was not enough, and the styles could have an even greater impact…if people could only remember them.
In 2012, Merrick reinvented the DISC world by swapping out the classic letters for more visual and memorable birds that symbolized the styles. In his first book, Taking Flight!, he introduced the Eagle, Parrot, Dove and Owl styles and he changed the entire industry.
With the vision to reinvent how people learn about themselves, build better relationships, and create positive work environments, Merrick founded Take Flight Learning where he certifies trainers around the world to deliver the content he and his team create. Merrick now spends his time writing, speaking, and advancing the world of increasing self-awareness and improving team dynamics by tapping into the power of the four styles.
Merrick has worked with more than half of the Fortune 100 companies and has reached more than 100,000 people around the world through his speaking engagements. He has been named the CEO of the Year for New Jersey, and his company, Take Flight Learning, has been selected as the New Jersey Business of the Year, one of the Best Places to Work, and one of the Fastest Growing Companies in the Philadelphia area.
Merrick is a sought-after media guest on television, radio, and podcasts. He has shared his personality wisdom on ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, SiriusXM, iHeart Radio, and Radio Disney. Merrick has been interviewed by: New York Times, Fast Company, Inc. magazine, Fortune, HuffPost, Forbes, Herald Tribune, Wall Street Journal, Parents, and Glamour.

For places to listen, places to connect on social media, to be a guest, collaborate with or sponsor DTE visit: https://linktr.ee/DisruptTheEveryday
About Clifford in his own words
In college I was a Division 1 collegiate wrestler & in 2004 I finished 3rd in the Pac-10. I told the coach I wanted to fight in the UFC in one year. The coach smirked & said “Cliff, NOBODY gets into the UFC in less than a year.” So, there I was, an amateur fighter with a BIG HAIRY AUDACIOUS GOAL to fight in the UFC in less than a year.
Training hard every day, I put in the reps, learned new techniques & watched every single calorie, no matter if I was sick, tired, sore, or injured. I executed flawlessly every day because I had absolute clarity about where I was & where I wanted to go.
10 months later I fought my debut fight in the UFC on one of the biggest stages. Not only was my goal accomplished, but I went on to have a successful career as a professional fighter.

About Bradley in his own words If you had asked me 10 years ago what I could talk about at length, my only answer would have been sports or fitness. I was essentially a one-dimensional person. However, I have since then become the opposite since embarking on a relentless pursuit to learn, do, and become far more than I was back then.
That pursuit has led me to become a far more varied and well-rounded person than I ever could have imagined. I am now more than comfortable speaking at length about a wide variety of topics (listed below) and I pride myself on being able to quickly connect with people of any background, personality type, or area of interest.
I am now someone who is often described by those who know me as wise beyond my (29) years. I don't think that comes from being particularly gifted in any way, but rather from being infinitely curious and hungry to do more in life - which drives me to constantly learn more and further develop myself.
Perhaps my greatest natural gift (which I'm still constantly developing) is the ability to see every idea, topic, or problem from many angles or perspectives that many people often miss. I enjoy being able to solve problems and provide unique solutions that create "light-bulb moments" for people.
If you have me on your podcast as a guest, know that you will get a comfortable and unique experience that will make you and your audience think in new ways.
My highest value in life is freedom - time freedom, thought freedom, location freedom, financial freedom, etc.

About Breakthroughs in Learning
For over 17 years, Breakthroughs has been and providing corrective therapy to clients from the K-W area as well as other Ontario communities.
“Like a set of muscles the brain responds to use or disuse by either growing or decaying. We stimulate and exercise specific areas of the brain which leads to strengthening those systems responsible for the challenge.
The various assessments cover from 12 to 27 brain skills (10 cognitive, 6 memory, 4 judgment, 4 problem solving and 3 creative) as well as auditory and visual processing areas. The assessment includes modality testing. This provides information on how an individual’s brain prefers to learn. ie. Eyes (visual), ears (auditory), Hands (kinesthetic).
The various adult assessments cover 27 brain skills (10 cognitive, 6 memory, 4 judgment, 4 problem solving and 3 creative) as well as auditory and visual processing areas. The assessment includes modality testing. This provides information on how an individual’s brain prefers to learn, ie. Eyes (visual), ears (auditory), hands (kinesthetic). Three to four hours is required to complete these assessments.
The 27 skills we assess provide the foundation needed for school, employment or entrepreneurial success. Ninety percent or more of the students at Breakthroughs have an above average IQ. The results usually show extreme differences in brain skill functioning creating difficulties in school or at work. Clients often have both gifted and low scores. Our exercises specifically target the brain skills needing development. This results in less stress and improved functioning. We equip clients with the intellectual skills for learning subject matter, for analytical thinking, for becoming creative and for learning how to learn. This greatly impacts work and personal relationships. Fifty percent of the clients at Breakthroughs are adults. The brain’s restorative capabilities are amazing. Adults no longer have to struggle.

ABOUT JUSTIN IN HIS OWN WORDS
I’m the host of the INC Magazine top rated podcast the Growth Now Movement and host of the world renowned event Growth Now Movement LIVE! But, it wasn’t always like that…. You see, if there was a senior superlative for Least Likely to Succeed, that would have been me. I found myself with a 1.7 GPA, while my mom was in the middle of a 20 year opioid battle and my dad was in jail. All signs pointed to no hope. Anyone would have said to me “you’ve got no shot, kid”. Like most people, I thought that it was my past that defined me. Because I didn’t come from a great up bringing and didn’t have the resources so many had, that I was destined to fail. Then, at 19 years old I got introduced to personal development by a mentor of mine. I became obsessed with the idea that I have full control over the outcome of my life simply by choosing to grow. The realization that it doesn’t matter where I come, but the choices that I make today to create a better tomorrow for myself and others is all that matters, was life changing. When I launched the Growth Now Movement podcast in 2016, I had no idea what it would become. Now it gets played in over 100 countries every single week, I speak all over the country on overcoming adversity, and most importantly, I’ve discovered that we all have the power to create our own happiness, to grow into the person we were meant to be, and that we can all create the life we truly desire.
A DIVORCE IMPACTS NOT ONLY A COUPLE BUT THEIR CHILDREN AS WELL, HOW DO YOU ENSURE YOU'RE MAKING THE RIGHT DECISION?

Ravit Rose is a deeply devoted mom to her children.
Pre-divorce, Ravit envisioned a successful career building her business dreams and actively making a contribution to her community. Her confidence and trailblazing spirit is evident in her keen work ethic and entrepreneurial acumen. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Marketing and Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management along with a Human Resources Certificate. She continued to pursue her career path from the very first day of her separation despite the fact that it was often thwarted.
She found the emotional impact her nasty divorce was having on her and her children to be heartbreaking. Often, she felt that she didn’t understand why and how matters seemed to go wrong all the time. So she went off on an adventure to find the solutions she needed to end her struggle.
This took her to discoveries she had not expected- to common issues that affect parents around the world, regardless of the varied laws in their respective justice system. Her book briefly speaks of the Quebec Justice System as a means of comparison for her readers around the world. With the help of hundreds of other divorced parents’ stories, Ravit proudly authored her book, Unwanted Nasty Divorces, hoping everyone’s voice will encourage a chorus of others to engage in a much-needed dialogue in support of families everywhere. More importantly, she is igniting conversations about needless suffering families face because of inconsistencies in the family justice system and how these flaws are failing families far and wide to make way for monumental change.

Many middle managers realize that what worked as an individual contributor is no longer effective in their management role. They struggle with team performance issues – people working in silos, projects that don’t advance fast enough, conflict and resistance from team members.
Through virtual coaching, training and consulting, Lindsay supports technical middle managers in developing the leadership communication skills needed to inspire and lead their teams to top performance.
Lindsay believes that when people feel truly heard, they become naturally inspired to follow their leader.
Her unique background as a former Speech-Language Pathologist (specialized in social interactions) has left her with the skills needed to ensure that she gets to the root cause of communication challenges that impact performance, rather than addressing symptoms. This means that you won’t have to keep addressing the same problems again and again.
Her programs are based on her signature 4-step process to ensure that you progressively master all of the skills needed for effective communication. Not just the surface stuff. But the skills that enable you to consistently apply what you’ve learned in the most challenging of situations.
Her ultimate goal in working with any client is to leave you with the skills needed so that you never need to call her again.
