Blue Corner offers a platform for boxers, kickboxers, grapplers and mixed martial arts fighters to showcase and test their talents.

A Kansas City-based, 501(c)(3) organization with an educational, STEM focused perspective that serves high school students from around the Kansas City Metro. Using project-based learning and adult-to-student mentoring ratios of 2:1 as the backbone of their after school program, they teach problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration through math, science, technology, innovation and communication, giving students deep-level experience with real world applications. Paula shares thoughts on what growing an organization with a lot of potential is like and also what sustainability of a social enterprise is. Michelle Samuel, Founder and President of SLUDTERA, a social enterprise based on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. joined us for our 9th episode of Starty Pants. She founded SLUDTERA to address the needs for resources for workforce development and entrepreneurial skills. Michelle shared how she came to discover the need for workforce development and entrepreneurial skills, why she was in the Kansas City area, and what she hopes to grow SLUDTERA to in the future.

Dalon Hardgraves, author of 3 children's books joined us for our 8th episode of Starty Pants. Check out this episode to hear about his journey to becoming an author. He never thought he would be an author but because of his desire to help children he ended up writing three children's books. Some folks might not necessarily think of an author as being entrepreneurial but there is certainly a spark of the entrepreneurial spirit in how Dalon approaches being an author and life!
