Steve Zipperman is a proud Veteran, an American patriot, and a Constitutional Conservative. He is also a strong Second Amendment advocate who understands what the Founders intended when they wrote the Second Amendment. He and his wife Sharon teach the Constitution 101 course in the Prescott area based on the Hillsdale College curriculum. Right now, he is running for the Arizona State Senate in Legislative District 1, which covers all of Sedona and Yavapai County except Wickenburg.
Steve is an active shooter, who will not compromise our Second Amendment rights, and he will fight for conservative principles. He wants to restore Traditional American Values in our government.
Last week, Steve submitted more than 6 times the minimum number of petition signatures, so he has qualified to have his name on the August 2nd Primary election ballot.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Karen followed in her Father’s footsteps into the Chicago Police Department, worked patrol and the Marine Unit/Harbor Patrol for a total of 10 years before eventually moving on to join the ranks of the Federal Air Marshal Service.
There she flew a total of 1.9 million miles around the world as well as earning certifications as a Firearm’s Instructor, Fitness Coordinator, Defensive Tactics Instructor, IDC-Instructor Development Program and Reid and Associates Behavioral Recognition/Reid Interview Technique of Interview and Interrogation.
Since leaving law enforcement, she has continued her passion for teaching through her company with her husband and also serving as an NRA Certified Firearms and Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor by providing the lessons learned over decades of training and experience to clients of all backgrounds.
She believes wholeheartedly in collaborative learning. Her vast knowledge and experience of firearms, tactics, and laws is available to anyone willing to learn. Karen desires to be an ambassador to all women (and men!) who have aspirations of owning their first firearm and/or wish to learn more about the safe handling, carrying and advanced tactics of shooting.

Thrasher now resides in Colorado Springs where she is training as a professional athlete to earn her spot on the 2020 Olympic Team. She loves to compete, travel, and do public speaking across the country.
A product of West Springfield High School in Virginia, Thrasher shot for her high school rifle team and club team the Acorns, but her love of shooting first came after hunting with her grandfather. She is the youngest of three children with two older brothers and very supportive parents.
