Do you feel that your mindset is always up and down and you often point fingers or blame something or someone as the reason for not achieving something. Maybe stop blaming the thing and take some ownership. I feel that people are often going through life in cruise control or autopilot and i think that translates into probably only working at 40% of their potential. I truly believe being comfortable within your workspace or fitness realm or something that enables you to better your mental or physical health is only being exercised at about 40% and people have a-lot more in the their locker than what they think.
In this episode i discussed with Ali how sometimes i let the opinions of others (especially Pt's) and the judgement play on my mind when in reality i am creating my own business and my own hustle from the ground up and we discussed about gyms reopening and plans for obtaining as many clients as i can to elevate my business.
2021 is the year everyone thought things would be back to normal as soon as the clocks struck 00:01 new years day.
REALITY CHECK this year wont be much different to 2020. However you can still make it the best year ever. Due to the things you do and the way you perceive things. This episode delves into the deeper meaning behind perception and how an event is just... an event.
What does an insecurity look like?? how do you deal with the main insecurities that bring us down in life.
I talk about my insecurity and how it affected me and what i did to address how i felt.
The transition during my insecurity and the instant gratification i felt during my experience.
What do you do on a day to day basis that impacts your lifestyle?
Are you getting the most out of each day, are you doing things that will benefit you? Do you know where you spend your time and the things you are grateful for?
How do you build a better version of yourself?
Do you have something you want to pursue? Something you constantly think about? almost like a dream and constantly picture yourself with the dream career doing your dream job. I interviewed Marc Mclaren and we spoke about fulfilling potential and setting the bar high to enable you to put things in place to set yourself towards achieving your dream career. What struggles are people faced with and why don't people fulfil their potential?
In todays society it seems like the social norm is for people to constantly be doing things with other people and "being alone" can be looked down upon as being rude or something may be going on. Being alone offers a complete different dynamic in terms of productivity rates and getting shit done. Since i learned to love being alone, i am much more aware of what i want in life and i enjoy the times i spend by myself. I even booked a flight away by myself for 10 days at the end of the year. Learn to be alone because that shit is a game changer.
I decided during the month of June i would come off all social media completely to see how it would make me feel, what the pro's and con's would be. We live in a society that is so dependant on social media that sometimes we forget to take a minute and just appreciate whats going on. The people around us and the experiences we encounter can sometimes not be appreciated due to the small screen we constantly find ourselves obsessed with everyday. Find out how i felt with no social media.
Life can sometimes deal us a set of cards we may not like or we may be unhappy about. But what we choose to absorb in the form of our mental capacity and our positive mental health is what will determine how we feel. Because lets be honest, theres only one person who can dictate how you feel.. And thats YOU. In my opinion mental health experiences happen as a cause of something so i brought on a mental health and travel wellbeing consultant to help me out.
In todays episode i discuss the area around motivation and whether or not it is reliable, scalable or even realistic to some degree. Some people are heavily reliant on this thing we call motivation but in my opinion it doesnt really exist. People should just look to get things done without this motivation feeling and not use it as an excuse not to get something done.
In this episode i bring on my best mate and somebody who has shared a similar journey to myself. We talk about the setbacks we have had, the journey we have had and how we moulded ourselves into the people we are today. Sometimes you feel like you cant get away from something you love, when in reality you can. Enjoy the transitions you may experience in life and live in the now because you cant change the past and cant predict the future. Peace.
What is a comfort zone? Why should we look to get out of it and how will failure help to transform and change your life for the better? Success is a straight line right? Hell no. Failure is a huge part of every success story.
Is caring about less and ignoring the negative opinions of others the way to leading a happy and vibrant lifestyle?
How do we give a fuck about less and what does it mean?
The insight on blocking out negative opinions of others and deviating attention to the important things in life.
The journey from 1-2-1 PT to science teacher to building a successful online coaching business. What does it look like behind closed doors? What does online coaching look like? Is it worth the jump from 1-2-1 PT to online?
We are being labelled as what we are instead of who we are. Society today is predicated on how many followers you have or what you do for a living. Fitness changed my life for the better and i talk about my upbringing and what challenges i was faced with during high school and college.
Is money the thing that we are lacking in order to make us happy? Is money really what people are perceiving it to be?
Having been born and raised into a small family in Manchester in a “rough” if you wanna call it area in Salford I have never experienced large amounts of money or mass amounts of materialistic items within life. This has probably been a blessing in life and something I should probably be grateful for.
Yes I had the football boots and the football kits and all the small things we got excited about as a kid but as I have got older I have realised that money simply isn’t everything and sometimes its just an arbitrary number that sometimes has no meaning.
Social media.. one of if not the most used thing in day to day life. What is it used for, what platforms are out there and are there any benefits to actually using social media? Does it come with any negative connotations?
My overall experience during COVID 19 and how it affected me and what I implemented in order to ensure I didn't fall off track during quarantine and enabled myself to find some form of routine and normality that life would normally present us with. What did i do? How did i respond to everything?
