In 2009, she founded the leading upscale outdoor hospitality brand Under Canvas, which she grew to a value of over $100M. Under Canvas received a spot on the coveted Inc. 5000 list in 2017, the same year that Sarah was also named to Ernst & Young’s EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women list.
Sarah is also the author of Thinking Bigger, which was written not only to tell Sarah’s entrepreneurial journey, but to guide and educate female entrepreneurs on how to grow, scale, fund, and build a big business.
Sarah is the cofounder of Few & Far, an eco-travel company, and the cofounder of Enygma Ventures, a venture capital fund that she launched after scaling up her first travel business, Under Canvas. She invests in women-led businesses in Southern Africa, creates solutions for wealth disparities, and champions access to capital for women.

On this episode we speak with Natalie Binder, the founder of Camp V, a glamping operator outside of Telluride Colorado.
Located on 120 acres in southwest Colorado, this glamping property now has airstreams, bell tents, converted cabins and primitive camping. The land has a lot of history, not only in the area but for Natalie as well. In the 1950’s it use to house employees and engineers that worked in the nearby Uranium Mill. And as Natalie will tell us not only does her family have roots in this community but also to this very property.
