What would you do if you were falsely accused of kidnapping a loved one? That is Chad Hower (also known as Kudzu)'s story. He has been "in hiding" in the Caribbean and wanted by the FBI and Interpol for 16 years for allegedly kidnapping his son in a dispute with his ex-wife, with his son being listed by Missing People for the majority of that time. Anthony Broadwater serviced 16 years in prison for a crime he did not commit - the brutal rape of best-selling author Alice Sebold. After he was released from prison in 1998, he then spent another 23 years as a registered sex offender. On Monday November 22nd 2021, a New York State Supreme Court judge vacated Anthony's conviction, thanks to the work of film producer Timothy Mucciante, who after working on the planned (but since cancelled) film adaptation of Alice Sebold's memoir "Lucky", about the case, was the first person to believe that Anthony may have been innocent after all. On this episode, Daisy sits down with Timothy Mucciante to find out more about Anthony Broadwater's case, his journey to freedom and his experience in the courtroom.

Encina Severa has lived with dissociative identity disorder (known as 'DID') for her entire life, with eleven alter personalities that were formed as a coping mechanism in response to childhood trauma. DID (previously known as multiple personality disorder) is a complex medical disorder where a person presents multiple distinct personalities, which can display in their voice, physical body language as well as the name they identify as. Tabby Chapman is a survivor of the NXIVM cult, an American cult that has been exposed as engaging in trafficking, forced labour and racketeering. The cult advertised itself as a self-help development service whilst recruiting women for a secret society called "DOS" in which women were abused. In early 2018, NXIVM's founder, Keith Raniere, and his associate, actress Allison Mack, were arrested and indicted on federal charges. Since escaping the cult, Tabby has now trained as a Professional Clinical Counsellor, specialising in Marriage and Family therapy as a way to turn her experiences into help for others. She is also the founder of the Freedom Train Project, an advocacy program for people wishing to leave cults or coercive relationships. Nick Pope is a British journalist and former civil servant. From 1985 to 2006, he worked at the British Government's Ministry of Defence; from 1991 working in Secretariat (Air Staff) Sec (AS) 2a more commonly known as the "UFO desk", where his duties included investigating reports of UFO sightings, to see if they had any defence significance. Chris Lemons has been a deep sea diver for over 14 years, but a freak accident in 2012 nearly cut things short. His umbilical cord providing him with breathing gas, light and heat being severed - leaving him on the dark sea bed alone with only 3 or 4 minutes of emergency gas to keep him alive.
