Rabbi Bronsteyn is the West Coast Kashrus Administrator for the world renowned Star-K Kosher Certification. Rabbi Bronsteyn is one of the four "Founding Fathers” of the Phoenix Community Kollel. He was raised in Lawrence, New York. While studying in both the US & Israel, he earned a Bachelors in Economics from Queens College & was ordained at Yeshiva Mercaz Hatorah in Jerusalem. What do the Rabbis mean when they use the expression, the light of the Torah? This is a rendition of a speech on Shabbos morning at the Ohr HaTorah Congregation of Phoenix on the occasion of a Siyum that I made on Tanach with commentaries and Seder Moed.

I relate the content of a Yizkor Drasha that I gave in Ohr HaTorah in Phoenix in 5782, 2022 on Yom Kippur. We discuss how the World To Come has no chronological timeline and of what consequence that is for the deceased.

Throwback Episode This was a lecture given on the cusps of a Space Shuttle Mission involving Colonel Ilan Remon which tragically disjoined on re-entry into the atmosphere. The lecture was given on New Year Day, 2003. We delineate the details of what is entailed in keeping Shabbos on the Space Shuttle while it’s orbiting Earth according to Rabbi J. David Bleich who postulates the scenario according to Rabbi Moshe Feinstein. Unfortunately, only about half the class was recorded.
