On this episode, we discuss themes and events from the 6th Chapter of the Boba Fett show. We start out by discussing the state of the galaxy after the fall of the Empire, specifically in terms of how Tatooine is left to its own devices by the New Republic. If only the governments in our world would leave us alone and let us self-mange too! Never gonna happen.... We then get into Cobb Vanth and his ethical decision to forgo drug profits, but then also how he is unwilling to assist Boba Fett in freeing the planet from the Pyke Syndicate (which echoes a conversation between Luke and Biggs from A New Hope). We discuss the Jedi tenet of 'no attachments' which has seemed to find its place in the post original trilogy world, which seems a bit out of place to me. Didn't Luke reject these principles when saving his father? There are parallels here to religion as well. We talk about Luke's binary decision to Baby Yoda about his future, and how binary decisions are presented previously in Star Wars and other films. We end with discussing the further rollout of the transhumanism angle, through the complete audio and visual recreation of 1983 Luke Skywalker. On this episode we dive in to the Book of Boba Fett episode #5 and discuss the Mandalorian culture, its comparison to the Empire, and its religious ideals. We discuss how Din Djarin wielding the darksaber, while the darksaber is essentially fighting against him, is an interesting parallel to the elites in our world and how their control tactics are being pushed back on by us (the Earthbound darksabers).
I spend the last half of the episode getting into the spiritual aspects of Din's atonement he is told to make by The Armorer - does a physical act atone, or forgive you of breaking your vows? Does baptism, confession, or saying hail mary's truly provide forgiveness for you?
In my spiritual mindframe, I believe inward focus and beliefs are more important than virtue signaling your beliefs outward in religious rituals with physical objects.

Let’s talk about Narcissism. I talk about this a little in my book, but it’s important to understand the underlying sub-traits of people who are full blown narcissists or have narcissistic tendencies. I know many people like this, but until recently I couldn’t put a descriptive term to what they actually are.

On this episode, conspiracies take a back seat to a discussion about my favorite band Genesis and their song "Domino" from 1986. This song is about the domino effect of situations and how one thing affects another and that thing affects another and so on and so forth. It draws an interesting lyrical comparison to the events of Revenge of the Sith, so we go through those parallels. We also discuss if the domino effect can be positive as well as negative....I think it can be, and I hope it is happening in our world today.
