I met Nick Lutrick on LinkedIn while doing my ice-breaker calls and how he describes his business... it's more than hiring a Virtual Assistant. From my standpoint as an Agency (mostly Solopreneur) it is sometimes more about freedom and time than the margins. Freeing up time has so many benefits. You can redirect yourself to make more profit or margin... or you could sit with your family and watch a movie guilt-free.

I received the year-end messaging with Anchor.FM and became re-inspired. Why? Well, in a year of distraction and not adding to my Podcast Library -- the podcast still grew by 33%. Apparently, you like what is going on here. The stats also revealed that many of you listen to each episode more than once. This tells me that there is value in the messaging.

Raised in a broken home, battled addictions, jailed at 18, bankrupt at 21 only to turn everything around. 16 years sober, beautiful wife, two kids, podcaster, speaker, & now helping up and coming MMA fighters & entrepreneurs get known and noticed online! Erik is truly a man of integrity, work ethic, and an overcomer. Growing up with a complicated childhood and broken home, raising himself from the age of 14. Unfortunately finding trouble along the way desperately trying to fill the gaping voids in his life. As a young man, Erik found himself empty and tired of settling for less. Along with being the sole provider for his family, Erik is an entrepreneur and avid MMA fan. Which he has created the best MMA podcast of the northwest. He believes in giving back and honoring those that have served our country. With his companies Top Rated MMA and The Erik Allen Show, he is able to do just that. Another one of the ways Erik is able to give back is by sharing his story and encouraging others, no matter what path they are on to find hope and purpose. Well, I have had the esteemed pleasure of getting to know Ms. Tammy Joy Lane over the last 15 months, and I am thrilled to finally get her on the Mañana No Mas! podcast to share this amazing woman with you.
Tammy is a veteran, a suicide survivor, and a survivor of life as well. Life throws everyone curves and like a lot of leadership gurus say in one way or another - it's not what life gives you, but what you do with it.
Tammy helps others. Part of me is heartbroken at this interview for the silliest of reasons. I wanted to do this interview outside, in God's creation to kind of celebrate the person inside. While traveling in Texas, we had scheduled for me to do this interview with her while I was at Fairfield Lake State Park. It was beautiful there - but no signal to keep video sustainable. When we rescheduled, I thought "No big deal". I have sunshine and palm trees in Southern California (and I did not want to green screen this thing!). Of course, it was uncommonly cold and rainy, forcing me back into my little work area.

I am so very excited to be able to bring you this interview (Podcast) in both video and audio formats. I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew personally through a Jake Ballentine event in Pasadena. Andrew was one of the highlights during the three-day workshop. Add to that, the almost instantaneous COVID shutdowns and Andrew was one of the last impressionable speakers to present to the Speaker, Author, and Coach summit as presented by Jake.
I watched as many attendees in the Summit then followed Andrew on "The Heart of Presenting" Facebook page, taking part in his 10-day challenge. For many, this experience is transformational. For me, it led to a paradigm shift in how I perceive my own presenting style and left me open to change.
