THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!

Scott has been roped in to shipping coozies for Andrew's and now is picking up tires for Straight Nate?
First off, going to try the new Icee Cereal from Kellogg's. Does it taste like the cool, syrupy sweet frozen concoction you get at the roller rink? Hardly. Then, grandma needs to give up cereal making, as we try her Churro cereal from Mexico. But why stop at one? Our friend Ramiro also sent us another international Churro cereal from Kellogg's.
With Andrew out, Scotty chats with Danielle and her son Spencer on an all new Bowl Chat!
Today we will check out a bunch of colorful cereals! Excited for new Rainbow Krispies from Kellogg's! Then, pull over the garbage can! It's time for some Keto crap! Will WalMart's Strawberry Lemonade Cereal save our tastebuds???

Break me off a piece of that KitKat Cereal! Danielle sits in today, as Andrew is too busy. We’ll try said KitKat Cereal, along with a surprisingly wonderful granola from LIDL, and 2 Toops pillow cereals from Columbia!
Sorry we took off this past Monday! We are back and ready to bring you another exciting episode of Bowl Chat.
In a shocking turn of events, Andrew is actually able to tell the difference between oats and corn with new Lucky Charms Minis! He even knows what company makes Cascadian Farm, as we try their Cinnamon Crunch. Plus, a store brand puffed wheat.
Scotty & Andrew try a date-filled cereal from Post that Scotty swears they’ve tried before. CerealKillersPC.com says otherwise! Then a bird nest cereal from Trader Joe’s, and all-new Vanilla Spice Cheerios!

Today we’ll try…Froot Loops. They call them Mega Mix Ups, and since technically it is a new cereal, we eat them! Then on to Multi Grain Squares from Cascadian Farm (singular), and an exciting Mexican Cereal from Kellogg’s sent in by our friend Ramiro.
On this special Bowl Chat, the infamous Other Scott aka Newman aka our web guy who updates CerealKillersPC.com, chats with Andrew and does an Inside the Actors Studio asking him cereal and non-cereal related questions.
We’ll blow through some pretty decent cereals today, new Chocolate Waffle Bites from Kashi, Target’s Raisin Bran, then one more powdered milk cup from Post. Then, Scotty breaks out a 24 year old box of Millenios to a surprisingly unsuspecting Andrew…hilarity ensues.
As tax season approaches Andrew and Scott are stressed about the deadlines and also have a few questions for the IRS...
In this episode, we'll finally investigate the new wave of powdered milk on-the-go cereal cups from Kellogg's and Post. Andrew couldn't be here today, so Scotty's picky daughter Cooper sits in. Take her ratings with a grain of salt, as she barely lets the Cocoa Pebbles, Froot Loops or Frosted Flakes touch her tounge!
Hopefully Nicoli Nonna doesn’t beat us with her wooden spoon! 2 of her Vitabella cereals we try today aren’t very good. However, we saved the best for last! New Frosted Lemon Cheerios are pretty amazing!
Today we will try another bland Matt supplied cereal…Generic Shredded Wheat! Then to the Apple Fritter cereal Scotty found at WalMart, and a new cereal we knew nothing about…made by Kellogg’s, but only at Costco…Extra!
With Passover on the way, we’ll try an Almond Butter cereal that we could take or leave. Then, a super generic bag of corn flakes, and a very disappointing new Special K Protein flavor.
Andy the millennial doesn’t know much about The Flintstones, but we do know that Berry Pebbles are delicious! We’ll try that limited edition cereal, along with a listener supplied CTC rip-off from Mom, and some healthy cereal for your family.
Andrew and Scott talk about their experiences at the SZA concert then Andrew has to "flim flam" while Scotty gets a special surprise.

We’ll get put to sleep with the new line of Sweet Dreams cereals from Post…both Blueberry & Honey. Then, we wish it was just a dream, but no, the living nightmare that is Vitabella. Andrew spent a bunch of cash on some Italian cereals. We’ll try 2 of them today.
It’s a great day for Andy, as his beloved Cinnabon Cereal returns! Then another newbie! Lucky brings us his S’mores cereal…basically a mash-up, but we’ll take it! But surprisingly, the big winner on this episode is the listener supplied Weet-Bix from Australia!
Well, since Andrew couldn’t record again, Scotty needed someone to sit in for the big honey episode…Elvis happily answered the call! So today, it’s the new Honey Flavor Corn Flakes, Special K Oat Crunch Honey, and the UK import, Crunchy Nut (also, full of honey!) It’s a Kellogg’s trifecta!
In this episode, we’ll try the latest Krave flavor – Double Chocolate Brownie Batter! Then on to something that looks better than it is, Fudge Brownie from Walmart’s Great Value Brand. To wrap it up, we’ll try another store brand, Bowl & Basket’s Crispy Rice Squares from ShopRite.
One of our favorite listeners Jody told Andrew he needs to rise above and not yell so much at Scotty B. Here's to hoping this calm version of Andy is here to stay!
We start off this episode trying the here today, gone tomorrow Hot Wheels Cereal from General Mills. It’s pretty good, but it’s just novelty and won’t last long. Then a Nature’s Path Flax Plus that somehow we never tried, and an international pillow cereal sent in by our friend Nicholas that we could use the filling of to clean with.
An IHOP cereal has been teased for quite awhile now…and it’s finally here! Much like the sticky syrup caddy at the restaurant, it’s not bad, but looks better than it is. Then another Great Grains flavor with berries, and an underwhelming, generic Lidl chocolate cereal with a deranged monkey for a mascot.
Andrew took a break from his very busy schedule to eat some cereal! Today, we will try something that turned out not to be a cereal at all…Klik! Then we get down to business with some frosted shredded wheat from ShopRite, a puffed rice from Arrowhead, and the reason we are here today…Disney 100 Mickey Mouse Cereal from Post!
Andrew couldn’t be here today, so Danielle swoops in to save the day! We’ll talk about hoarding, new studios, weird football bowls and more!
Andrew was unable to be a part of this episode, so rather than have nothing for you today…Nate stepped in! And glad he did, so we could bring you 2 new Pebbles cereals! Both Fruity & Cocoa are now Crunch’d! Do they measure up to the usually high rated originals???
Our first Cereal Killers episode from the new building! Today, we say happy birthday to the Cap’n! He says he’s only 60. We don’t buy it! But, his Birthday Crunch ain’t bad! Then some Cascadian Farm Berry thing and delicious Japanese coconut flakes from our pal Brimstone.
Today we are going to try some end of the year General Mills laziness. They pushed out some mini versions of their most popular cereals…Trix, Reese’s Puffs, and the now round Cinnamon Toast Crunch. All just as we expected — delicious.
We did it, we finally made the move to 55th although it does come with a few hiccups along the way...
We were so excited that our buddy Newman sent us the new Elf On The Shelf Cereal all the way from Colorado…we’re is the keyword. After that ruins our day, we’ll do some chocolate, some birthday cake, and some Keto nastiness.
Thanks to @The_CerealQueen, we’ll try a new flavor of Wilde Terra! Dark Chocolate Cherry sounds promising, but is it any good? Then some giant chunky granola that Andrew is just not having, and Trader Joe saves the show! Kind of…
Today we will try another Cheerios Oat Crunch! This time…berry! Then we move on to 2 listener supplied cereals…one is maple flavored, and one a cruddy fake Cinnamon Toast Crunch. As a bonus, we go back to Brimstone’s box from Japan and try some Hershey’s ChocoBits.
Today, our friend Bald Freak Ronnie visits us and tries a pretty good Love Crunch, a pretty awful Catalina Crunch, and 2 store brand knock-offs…one frosted shredded wheat and a fake Golden Grahams.
Hope you are enjoying preparing for the big day tomorrow! We talk about a lot of nothing and have a fun visitor at the end.
We are thankful to you, our listeners, for listening, watching, and supporting your favorite cereal eating idiots week after week. We love you.
In this episode, we’ll try another Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes flavor, this time, Pandora Flakes with blueberry moons. Surprisingly greeeaaa…ok…we won’t. Then, listener supplied knock-off Cocoa Puffs and Lucky Charms. Spoiler alert! One of them will be immortalized as a double 5 Bowler!
Andrew literally cannot find anything of relevance that they talked about in this episode... hence the title. Scott will probably yell at him about it later.
Thanks to a wonderful listener, today we try the latest in the line of Little Debbie snack cake inspired cereals. Then, on to a bunch of granola! One is Target's Good & Gather brand, one is Bear Naked, and a chunky bonus bag from our friends at Sakara.
In this chaotic episode, Andrew talks with Scott about everything from pasta to sous vide steaks... listen in and learn!
Here we go again! One of our great listeners sent us some more Magic Spoon cereals to try. Surprisingly, one of us kind of likes them. Plus, some generic Lucky Charms from H-E-B. Marshmallows are always good!

The Christmas cereals have started to roll in! We’re so excited to try General Mills’ new Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Cereal. Yay marshmallows! Then on to 2 strawberry shredded wheat cereals. Both listener supplied, one is a store brand, and one Kellogg’s from Canada.
All three of today’s cereals are kind of fall-like. First, another Quaker puffed granola cereal, this time…apple cinnamon. Then, we’ll hit up Target for Good & Gather Caramel Apple Granola! Finally, Scotty found an interesting Dash Coffee cereal from Off Limits…and we all know how Scotty feels about coffee flavored things!

It’s a scary collection of repackaged cereals that are pretty much the same! Danielle joins us today as we try Shocking Orange Rice Krispies, Halloween Fruity Pebbles, and Pumpkin Pie Spice Frosted Mini Wheats. Plus, Frute Brute returns from the dead. Maybe he should have stayed 6 feet under. Just sayin’. Then a rambling, disjointed conversation with Greg T. Happy Halloween!

Scotty and Andy are arguing (shocker) about songs you may or may not know... who do you agree with?
Back in the 80s, if you said "I Don't Know", you'd get slimed. Millennial Adrew knows nothing about this. Guess the next best thing is Kellogg's Apple Jacks Nickelodeon Slime Cereal! Underwhelming, at best. Then our friend Carla Marie supplied us with some blueberry Keto crap, but then redeemed herself with some awesome granola from Kroger.
We'll finally dive into the new Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Frosted Flakes from Kellogg's. We don't really get the whole Star Wars aspect of it, but the cereal is delicious! We’ll try some Midwest PB&J store brand cereal.
Deanna, Elvis Duran and the Morning Shows video producer, brought us beer. It has Scott feeling like he missed out on a college experience and then it leads to a game of flip cup?

This episode is all over the place. It starts with a discussion on some old technology (Blackberries FTW), then goes to St. Maarten and the low flying airplanes over the beach. Somehow they talk about President Joseph R. Biden's middle name being Robinette, it segways to a quick chat on being religious and it all ends with road trips.
So yeah, buckle up and get ready, we discuss it ALL on the longest Bowl Chat episode EVER.
One of Andrew’s favorites is back! Well, kind of. Kellogg’s reintroduced Cinnabon in snack packs, but apparently, it’s the same as the classic cereal…we’ll see! Then some listener supplied entries…one granola and another Peanut Butter & Cocoa cereal.
Bowl Chat goes meta. Yep. We are talking bowls. Toilet bowls, plastic bowls, you name it!
Well, there is only one new Halloween cereal this year, so guess this is our Halloween episode! We’ll try the 50th anniversary monster cereal from General Mills, Monster Mash! Then on to a really good blueberry cereal from Mom’s Best, and some disappointing frosted flakes.
Scotty and Andrew chat all things backstage at our iHeart Festival. What was Las Vegas like? What did they eat? Listen to hear all the inside scoop.
Also, what are some of your favorite “party” songs? Andrew wants to make a party album that will stand the test of time.
Every cereal we try today is courtesy of our listener Jamie! We’ll try the new Space Jam cereal, along with some Berry Colossal rip off from Malt-O-Meal and a very stubborn bag of cereal from Nature’s Path.
We’ve lost all control as we try a new Kashi cereal Scotty brought back from Cape Cod, then onto another awful bean cereal, and a listener supplied, limited edition cereal from Cleveland.
Scotty B made Andrew title this episode like that. Hear your two favorite Cereal Killers talk about dressing up as mascots, pasta sauce and even about a mishap with Sawyer (Scotty B's dog).
We all know Andrew has weird taste…but boiled hot dogs? Find out which cereal he thinks tastes like a wiener – will it be the new Clif Blueberry Cereal? Or maybe the Maple Pecan Granola or fake Fruit Rings he bought in the Grand Canyon? Spoiler alert…nothing tastes like a friggin’ hot dog.
It’s another all listener supplied cereal episode! We’ll try a new flavor of RX Cereal with SO MANY BERRIES! Then some fake Apple Jacks, Cap’n Crunch and Resses Puffs. Plus, all your favorite Scotty & Andrew back and forth!
Scotty B gives us some of his elocution lessons from long ago. Also, Andy and Scotty think they found their new radio names.
You get 4 cereals today! We’ll try the new Corn Flakes Cinnamon from Kellogg’s, then 3 store brands. Plus…Scotty never saw Jurassic Park? Really???
As Scotty B said, this episode is a whole lotta nothing. Listen to us discuss everything from what our favorite chain restaurants are to having Parmesan cheese and honey!
Today we will try the latest in the series of Kellogg’s Mashup Cereals…Frosted Flakes + Apple Jacks! Then a bunch of single serve cereals Scotty’s daughter stole from summer camp. One of them gets no bowls or spoons! Oh, and Andrew thinks calcium in and of itself is a vitamin.
WTF is Pizza Sauce? Scotty B recently ordered pizza and instead of asking for a side of tomato sauce, he asked for pizza sauce. Was he right/wrong to order it that way? You decide.
Sure…it’s a podcast where we eat cereal. Andrew is on a juice cleanse. Makes sense. So, Danielle sits in!!! We’ll try the Cap’n’s new Chocolate Caramel Crunch, and since Andrew isn’t eating, we’ll just do one more, and it’s a cruddy Raisin Bran.
Andrew and Gandhi talk to Scotty B while out on the road. Hijinks and technical issues ensue. Get ready for the hottest mess of an episode yet!
Another protein bar becomes a cereal, and just doesn’t cut it. Then onto 2 cereals Scotty found online — one awful, and one just ok. The fun comes when Andrew thinks he’s allergic and gets a “tickle” in his throat.
This episode sure is a doozy. We chat about everything from bugs to Andrew thinking "besto friendo" was a phrase.
Today we will try a cereal that Andrew loves, but won’t be seen with the box…Jojo Siwa Strawberry Bop! Then on to some blah sprouted rice, and an incredible granola from Bakery On Main!
In this episode, we walk down memory lane and talk all things old candy. From Nerds Rope to Bubbalicious (is gum a candy?), to Scotty's favorite - BONKERS - join us on this sweet adventure.
One of Andrew’s favorite childhood cereals is back! Well, kind of. We’ll try the new incarnation of Team Cheerios! Then, to celebrate Cheerios’ 80th anniversary, it’s a rip-off from LIDL! Then, onto some listener supplied Buckwheat Flakes.
Real talk, Scotty B and Andrew are trying to figure out what their "archetype" is. Are Andrew and Scotty B really that sarcastic? We break it down. Additionally, Scotty breaks down why he can't throw out old jackets in his attic.
In this episode, we’ll check out the new Marshmallow Clusters Lucky Charms. We heard it was the replacement for Rice Krispies Treats Cereal…is it?? Then on to a soft cereal that we will both vomit from, and a dry, sawdust-like supermarket sample. What a fantastic day!
Should Scotty B and Andrew make a TikTok to cash in on the ASMR trend? Andrew sure thinks so. Also, we take a look at the dark side of those weird viral food videos - are they for people with a fetish?
What a shame that Scotty screwed up the original episode…that one was WAY better! In any event, today we will try the companion cereal to the new Ghostbusters movie out later this year, as well as a listener supplied PB&J cereal (Andrew has a problem with this) and yet another knock-off.
So uh, yeah, this episode is interesting to say the least. What does the title imply? Listen to find out!
In this episode we will check out the highly anticipated Special K Chocolatey Dipped Flakes! Ehhh…kind of a letdown. Then on to Peanut Butter Panda Puffs (say that 5 times fast) and a pouch of so-so granola from Sola.
Scotty talks about his time going to camp and his love of horses. Yep, Scotty like horses - who knew! Andrew also has questions about currency.
We will give you 3 new cereals today! First off, from big boy General Mills, an all-new Chex! Apple Cinnamon! Then a family owned cereal company, Three Wishes, sent us some grain-free, low sugar cereal. Did Scotty spit it on the window? We’ll see!
In this episode of BOWL CHAT we discuss Scotty B's love of... things? Why does he keep as much memorabilia as he does and do you think he is too far out of line? Also, Andy and Scotty plan to go out to eat lunch at an Automat.
Been awhile since we had a 5-bowler that we agreed on! Dulce De Leche Toast Crunch is it!!! You’ll hear us fawn over that, as well as a sadly underwhelming Snickerdoodle Cereal from Wegman’s and a pretty decent surprise from Bakery On Main!
In this episode, we will check out the new Kellogg’s & Glaad collaboration, Together With Pride cereal. Then, on to a cereal we probably shouldn’t eat and a lackluster granola from Cascadian Farm.
Do you scan then bag? Have a specific order of how you bag things at the grocery store? Well, surprise surprise SCOTTY B does!
There is nothing cinnamon-y about this episode…but listen! We have candles! In this episode, we’ll try new Churr-O’s cereal from Malt O Meal. They usually come through for us…we’ll see! Then onto another nasty Catalina Crunch and a delicious store brand PB&J!
Dear Evan Hansen – love it or hate it? Andrew is of the latter opinion and tells you why he hated the play with an intense passion. Plus, Andrew found out he is Greek because of 23andMe. Who knew?
Big day for us as we unveil our new candle line from Wax Cabin Candle Company! Of course...we’ll eat cereal! A new delicious Cheerios Oat Crunch, Galactic Lucky Charms...and a cereal from — IKEA??
The hottest toy craze is... Squishmallows? Find out why Scotty is frantically checking his phone to get this toy for his daughter. We also chat about old gaming systems, and somehow get to McDonalds burgers - mustard or no mustard?
Our wonderful listeners send us some wonderful cereals! They also sometimes send us sh*t!! This is one of those times. We’ll try 2 flavors of Trust Cereal made with egg whites, then a promotional “cereal” from Carvel.
For the first time, every cereal was supplied by Andrew! Will there be any repeats? We’ll see!! First up, the new Frosted Flakes with Cinnamon Basketballs. Then, on to Some fancy granola, an awful attempt from Nature’s Path and an even worse one, courtesy of Catalina Crunch.
Scotty was a bad kid, a very VERY bad kid. Here about what he used to do growing up and then hear Andrew gripe about not being able to roll his R's in Spanish class.
Happy Birthday Pebbles! We’ll check out a preview box of Birthday Cake Pebbles, and while Andrew hates the name…he loves the cereal! Plus, we’ll get into another LIDL knock-off and a bagged granola from Bakery On Main.
In this episode, we’ll try the latest Little Debbie Kellogg’s concoction…Cosmic Brownies! Then on to a so-so knock-off and some more bean junk from Love Grown.
Yep, pretty much as the episode suggests, Scotty eats donuts weird and claims he has a reason why. Also hear all about Andrew's phobia of puke and how Scotty scammed everyone in 4th grade!
Just from the title, you can see that we hated 2 of the 3. Can you guess which ones? Keto, beans??? Yeah. That. Kashi Go has a new line of crap as they jump on the Keto bandwagon, and they are awful. Then, a store brand peanut butter cereal will turn the episode around.
Andrew still doesn’t realize its “Grain Berry”, but it’s ok…we like it that way! We will try said Grain Berry – this time frosted shredded wheat! Plus, another way too expensive Lara Bar cereal and a Lidl knock-offl that has a long necked mascot.
What songs play at the dentist office? We discuss our first album purchases and if they have made it to a LiteFm playlist. Also, is Scott a motorcycle person?
No…not that Bernie. Bernie the Bunny! We’ll try his Birthday Cake Cereal, that Andrew will get angry at. Plus, we’ll take a look at the latest variety of Kellogg’s Raisin Bran and some surprisingly delicious fruit & yogurt flakes from Kroger!
Ahhhh...Passover. The parade of mostly awful cereals. The grand marshal of this parade is Fruity Puffers, and we're gonna try them! That, along with a yummy new cereal from General Mills and a terrible granola trying to be a cookie. Plus, we'll dance on another grave in the Cereal Graveyard!
Yes, it’s finally here! The first episode of Bowl Chat. Listen to a more subdued Andrew and Scotty B talk about everything from Andrew’s fear of birds to Scotty’s recent home renovation.
Will the partnership last past this episode? Only time will tell. But, until that time, we’ll try a new Cinnamon Kashi By Kids, some Strawberry Frosted Shredded Wheat from Kroger, and introducing…Elizabeth. Let’s just say, the word dumper is used.
Well, this hasn’t happened in awhile...we loved them all! First, the long awaited Chocolate Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros, then a berrylicious new favorite from Jordans, and a really awesome granola from our friends at Love Crunch!
We don’t speak Italian either, but you’ll see why this title was necessary. So...in addition to that, we’ll try the new Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Krave, and a jankity Frosted Flakes rip off featuring an angry yeti.
We argue like brothers, and for some reason, you like it. So today, we’ll try the resurrected Smorz cereal from Kellogg’s, some old lady All-Bran and a limited edition Lucky Charms just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!
This episode named by Andrew…can’t imagine why. We’ll try the newest incarnation of Pokemon Cereal from General Mills, then some listener supplied Whole Grain Honey Bunches Of Oats, and one from the home of Secret Squirrel Joel. Hi Scrunchy!
We love each other so much…and it shows! In this episode, we’ll blow through 3 ok cereals, including the brand new Cinnamon Roll Frosted Mini Wheats from Kellogg’s. Plus, a disappointment from Malt-O-Meal and some Organic Frosty Flakes from Target.
While the title may sound exciting, it’s simply because of the font on the mediocre box of chocolate cereal from Lidl. We’ll also check out the brand new Chocolate Strawberry Cheerios, and some espresso granola from our friends at Love Crunch.
With so many new cereals out now, this episode should have been better, but it is just ok. We tried the new Premier Protein Cereal from Post…ehhh. Then on to some listener supplied Coconut Flakes from Wegman’s, and another underwhelming Greenwise Cereal.
This could be a record…2 cereals that make us gag! Yay! First a mediocre new cereal From Kellogg’s in partnership with Crayola -- Jazzberry…we’ll leave that there. Then, on to another awful cereal from Andrew’s Aunt Barbara. After that…we’ll take a trip to Korea for perhaps the worst cereal of all time!
This was supposed to be a wonderful episode crammed with all-new cereal, and it is…minus the wonderful part. Andrew’s mic was not engaged until about halfway through, so enjoy this mess of audio boosting until about 10 minutes in. However, we get to try NEW Chocolate Honey-Comb, NEW Special K Blueberry, and NEW Sesame Street C Is For Cinnamon cereals!
Because of logistics, Andrew could not come into the studio and had to use the cereal sitting around his house. So, in this episode, we’ll try the elusive Frosted Mini Wheats Maple Brown Sugar, then 2 others that must be so awful, we can’t even remember what they were for this description. Something with twigs.
Welcome to a new year, but the same old Andrew. Kidding. In this episode, we'll try an interesting new Nature's Path cereal...Purple Açai! Then an underwhelming granola from Brad, and an old favorite...Scooters! This time, Honey Nut.
Yes! Chocolate Eggo Waffle Cereal!!! It is pretty friggin' good! So many great new cereals this year, and this is the last one. After that, we'll try an interesting concoction from Nature's Path...then a bland throw away from Cascadian Farm.
For some reason, Scotty thought the peanut butter chocolate chip flavor of the new Larabar Cereal would be delicious! Not so much. Then onto another failure from Greenwise and a pretty solid fruity Malt-O-Meal knock-off.
In this mess of an episode, both Andrew and Danielle will join Scotty via Zoom for some craptastic audio! Danielle only has the new Elf On The Shelf Candy Cane Cookie Cereal, so, we’ll go there first. Then we’ll move on to some knock-off Aldi & Lidl cereals. One great, one…not so much.
Sadly, Andrew was unable to be a part of this episode, so our friends Nate and Skeery hop on board to help out! Come along as we try the brand new Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies Cereal from Kellogg’s! Then we’ll move on to a few HBOO knock-offs…one from Mom’s Best, and another from Lidl.
It’s named that because Andy said so. Scotty’s title would have been better. In this episode, we’ll try the yet to be released, brand new Keto cereal from General Mills called Wonderworks. We tried the Chocolate and Peanut Butter. If you like awful cereal or can’t eat good cereal, you’ll like this.
Danielle joins us this time around to check out the brand new Sesame Street Cereal from General Mills! Then, we’ll move on to some generic Froot Loops from WalMart and another great Love Crunch granola variety!
Another brand new, before you can buy it cereal review! In a first for Cheerios, there is actually something other than Os in the box…strawberries! Even Andrew likes them! Then onto another berry granola from Clif, and a Crunchberry knock-off from Millville. We were so busy feeding stale cereal to Andrew, we forgot to rate it…4 Bowls for Andrew, and 3 for Scotty.
Secret Squirrel Joel hooks us up with new DunkAroos Cereal from General Mills before it hits stores! Finally…we are a cereal podcast that can bring you a new cereal before anyone else! It’s pretty friggin’ good, by the way! Danielle is along for the ride as we also try a great Malt-O-Meal knock-off and some incredibly awful coffee granola.
An episode of all-listener supplied cereals from Whole Foods. Scotty is not thrilled at the beginning, but slowly comes around. The pillow cereals turn out to be pretty ok…the last one, however, not so much.
That’s a big word…but it mean it’s our 150th episode!!! Fireworks? Confetti? Celebration? Nah…none of that – Just Scotty & Andrew trying the much anticipated brand new Elf cereal from General Mills, along with some Halloween favorites, Spooky Froot Loops and Reese’s Puffs Bats.
Certainly many of you have never heard of Spelt…Andrew hasn’t…but that’s not saying much. We’ll try some boring spelt flakes…then some more boring flakes from Kind, and a kinda ok granola from Cascadian Farm.
Kind of a strange way to describe loops, but rolls it is! We’ll try that new limited edition cereal exclusive to Buffalo, NY…plus we’ll check out another awful cereal from Barbara (why do we keep doing this??) and the just released Retro Recipe Golden Grahams!
The new one in this bunch may be a bit obscure, but it is pretty delicious! Then a very nutty cereal from Jordans, and something really awful from the west coast. Plus, this time Andrew will cram some stale Cereal Vault cereal down Scotty’s pie hole.
Yeah…Andrew didn’t know what show Family Ties was, so it is imperative that he is messed with. On the cereal side, we’ll try another new Kind cereal, and 2 different crisped rice cereals – one has to do with a dumb Koala, and the other a Wal-Mart rip off.
Apparently, you should be able to watch this episode on YouTube…good luck! We’ll try what Scotty thought was a fall cereal, along with an awesome cereal from Malt-O-Meal and some not so awesome granola from Cascadian Farm.
This episode’s new cereal is a Puffins cereal from Barbara!!! Actually, it’s not that bad! We’ll also try another cereal from Jordans, and Mom’s Best comes through yet again! Plus, we’ll head into the cereal vault, and that won’t end well.
Yeah…Scotty’s a dope and thought it was “Mindcraft”…it’s not. This episode features the new MINECRAFT Cereal from Kellogg’s, along with some organic stuff from Target, and a nasty supermarket bean cereal. Enjoy!
Andrew titled this one himself! We’ve been looking forward to the new Funfetti cereal for quite awhile…do we like it??? We’ll kill some time getting there. Then, Andrew spits out some of Mom’s Best, and shocker! Another Kashi cereal…this one’s transitional!
More examples that Andrew is just here for the “free” cereal (that Scotty pays for). Still no website, no show promotion and no cool merch. That’s cool…you just sit over there on your millennial device as we try some Chocolate, Maple & Berry cereals.
What a surprise! Another episode Andrew didn’t record for YouTube! Oh well…as long as his belly is happy…and it is with another cereal from Amazon. We’ll also try another in the new line of Kind Cereals, and something we really wanted to like, from Engine 2 Foods.
We’re not being lazy, because these 3 cereals have changed their recipes, so technically, they are new! We’ll relive Corn Pops, Chocolate Frosted Flakes, and our friends at Post have re-released Chips Ahoy Cereal…which we love!
Did you even know Kind made cereal?? We just found out too. We’ll try Apple Cinnamon today. Then on to some Far Out Fruities from Target’s Market Pantry, and Barbara is back! Once again, Andrew thinks they taste like cheese puffs. They don’t. He’s a dope.
We tried so hard to have Danielle on this episode, but we just couldn’t get the Zoom audio to work. You’d think that wouldn’t be an issue with a Millennial on the show, right? Anywho…we’ll finally try the new Star Wars Mandalorian Cereal from General Mills, plus some more listener supplied cereals from Wegmans and Amazon’s Happy Belly.
If you don’t like hearing Scotty & Andrew bicker with each other, maybe skip this one. Probably would have been a good episode for Andrew to record for YouTube – oh well. This episode features a new Kashi By Kids Cereal, as well as another bland Greenwise variety…plus, a nice visit from Barbara!
Well, it took awhile, but we finally got our hands on the new Dunkin’ Cereals. Our secret squirrel Joel hooked us up! Scotty isn’t a fan of coffee flavored things, so we’ll see how this goes. We’ll also head back to the 90s for a bit to make Andrew crazy.
It takes awhile, but Andrew finally triggers Scotty to dig out a cereal commercial from the 80’s. Even if you are a millennial like Andrew, YOU have certainly heard of it. As far as eating, we’ll follow Toucan Sam’s nose, it always knows…plus another Cascadian Farm cereal we probably won’t like, and we’ll travel to Korea for some Jolly Pong!
This alone should have gotten Andrew kicked off the podcast. We wanted to celebrate the life of Wilford Brimley…the guy that supplied us with many soundbites…whether it be his Diabetes, or his love of Quaker – Andrew couldn’t even remember his name. Wow. In his honor, we’ll try an all-new awesome cereal from Quaker, plus some other old man crap.
Déjà vu? Perhaps. We’ve done an episode like this before, but there are so many Cinnamon Toast Crunch rip-offs, and our listeners so graciously keep sending them to us…so, what the hell? Here’s another. We’ll take a look at some squares from Publix, Wegmans and Amazon. Who knew Amazon had their own cereal brand??? Now you do.
We’ll start off with another boring box of Cascadian Farm…then on to a delicious Malt-O-Meal graham cereal, and a listener supplied Swiss “pillow” cereal that Andrew loves, and the curmudgeon thinks is just OK.
You’ll understand the title about 2 minutes in…but it has nothing to do with cereal. Once we get into it, we’ll try Oatmeal Crisp from General Mills, along with another Kashi Go! Then we’ll end up with a surprisingly delicious Love Crunch.
While technically we have done both of these cereals way back in the day (last year), they have been altered a bit, so we felt we needed an update. Cocoa Puffs discretely got smaller, and Cookie Crisp now has “30% More Chips”. We’ll see about that.
So while Scotty doesn’t allow mixing of cereals, when it already comes together, we have no choice but to review it. So, we’ll check out the new Kellogg’s Mash Up of Frosted Flakes & Froot Loops, and we’ve invited Danielle along to help us out. Plus, we’ll take a look at another “Great Berry” cereal, and the Kashi Go cereals roll on…
Scotty throws together some more strawberry cereals for this episode, and we all know how much Andrew loves strawberry! There’s an appearance from Kashi, and some homeless turtle will make a splash…in the garbage can as Andrew vomits from it. Plus some Gen X/Millennial jabs back and forth as we all love being back together!
This episode definitely should have been a Wednesday Bonus episode, based on the new cereal, but the timing just didn’t work out. Let’s blame Andrew! Cookies & Creme Krispies are here!!! Perhaps we were a little too excited…but they are pretty good! Just to even it out, we’ll head back to 1908 with Uncle Sam, and most likely spit that out. Oh, and did you know Scotty lived in Iowa??
So excited, for many reasons! First off, Andrew is back in studio with Scotty, and the very talented musician and Jonas Brothers team member Greg Garbowski is with us! A cereal enthusiast, Greg will help us preview the brand new Honey Maid Grahams Cinnamon Cereal from Post, along with his favorite cereal, Jordans Country Crisp with Strawberries. We’ll top it off with a maple cereal from Freedom Foods, whose bark is worse than its bite.
Andrew is in a beach house full of people, and is obviously not into doing this episode. That, combined with 2 crappy cereals make this one of the shortest episodes we’ve ever done. Sorry. However, we’ll check out White Chocolate Macadamia granola from Clif, and some shredded wheat something or other from Kashi that gets lodged in Scotty’s gums. Good times.
OK…we’re sorry. It’s vacation week and we got lazy. However, see how far we’ve come! We’re playing back the very first episode from May of 2019…with the classic Trix, and the now discontinued Banana Crème Frosted Flakes. Next episode will be brand new…promise!
Apologizing right up front that this one is short. We only had 2 granolas to do here, and Andrew did not rip on Scotty quite as much as we would have liked. In any event, while Scotty is still in the City, Andrew is lounging at a beach house in New Jersey full of drunk millennials…one even stumbles over to give a review!
So…we really fight like siblings in this one. It actually takes 9 minutes before we get to the first cereal. Sorry ‘bout that. Eventually, we’ll try a delicious new granola from Nature Valley, then one we could do without from Cascadian Farm, and one we couldn’t even swallow. Maybe we really do need a vacation.
We sure are glad Sonny couldn’t sleep one night and decided to bake brownies at 2 in the morning! While Cocoa Puffs Brownie Crunch has been around before, it disappeared for a while, and now it’s back! Will it score 5 Bowls??? Then we will move onto some weird concoction from Nature’s Path…ehhh.
Today we’ll try some fruity Annie’s that Scotty is convinced we’ve done before…then a disappointing Kashi and the final (for now) knock-off cereal from Millville. We’ll throw in some random song clips that Andrew doesn’t know…and we’ve got a show!
Today we will experience another Kellogg’s “Jumbo Snax”! This time, Caramel Corn Pops! Plus, another awful rip-off cereal from Millville. Pretty sure we are done with them. But something does excite Andrew in this episode…not just that he showed up in boxers and a Metallica T-Shirt, but we’ll try Hemp Hearts from Nature’s Path!
Scotty’s wife Amy was invited on this episode by Andrew to gang up on Scotty. They could have done a better job. In between all that, we’ll try the all-new (again) Frosted Flakes With Marshmallows, another Kashi Go cereal, as well as a piece of crap Fit & Active Vitality cereal.
We continue with the brand new cereals as Danielle joins us to try the all-new Caramel Apple Jacks! Plus another Kashi cinnamon thing and we’re not quite sure if it’s a cereal or a snack, but well pour some milk over new Tiger Paws Jumbo Snax from Kellogg’s.
We’ve been waiting a few months for new Lucky Charms Honey Clovers. Were they worth the wait? We’ll also dive into some fake Life and we get to use the Cereal Killers International Jingle again as we roll out some Oreo O’s from Korea.
Diamond is here! Well, she can’t eat any of the cereals, so she leaves. But, we are joined once again by our friend Michele, fresh off Survivor Season 40. We’ll try the new Minions Cereal from General Mills, along with another Kashi Go Cereal. It’s new, and it’s coconut. Then, you’ll see how Scotty screwed up cereal #3. All this and more on an all-new Cereal Killers!
Danielle is really bored and is back again for this episode featuring fake Golden Grahams, some Rabbit Cereal that should be used as rabbit food, and a delicious chocolate peanut butter concoction with a curious name from Nature’s Path.
We’re still reviewing cereals from the “healthy side” of the cereal aisle, and in this episode we’ll try a surprisingly delicious granola from Cascadian Farm, a crappy knock-off from Aldi, and we will Go Spark with Kashi. Plus, this is the place for the Scotty/Andrew shenanigans you’ve come to expect!
It’s another episode of all 3 listener supplied cereals! Danielle joins us again as we try 2 more cereals from Aldi. One is a Millville and one is Fit & Active! Then, we’ll scoot across the pond and dive into a box of Jordan’s Country Crisp with Flame Raisins. What is a Flame Raisin? Beats us…but they’re big!
We really can’t wait to be back together in the studio…this Zoom stuff sucks. But…we carry on! Today we will try some really bland puffed corn from Arrowhead Mills, and 2 varieties of Honey Bunches Of Oats that somehow, we haven’t had yet.
In this episode, we’ll continue our investigation of fake mascots on boxes of Millville cereals. Danielle is back, and her son Spencer pops in to agree with Scotty (yay!). Cereals include fake Honey Smacks, fake Cocoa Puffs and fake Lucky Charms…led by a past-his-prime old wizard.
In yet another wreck of audio from 3 different locations, Scotty, Andrew & Danielle will try a trio of listener supplied cereals from Aldi’s brand, Millville. All 3 have an inferior mascot as compared to the one from the real name brand cereal. But how will the taste compare? Pete the Parrot knows…but he’s not talking…so listen!
Soooo…another episode where Andrew simply didn’t have the time to record. It’s OK. We know he is busy. There really should be a sarcasm emoji. Anyway…thankfully Nate was around to sit in. In this episode, we will take a look at 2 Kashi Cereals, and the Bonus Box (bag) is back as we dive into Malt-O-Meal’s Frosted Flakes! Andrew would have really liked those!!
After Scotty goes through the entire list of every variety of Cheerios ever made, Andrew gets antsy and dumps nearly his entire box of all-new Cinnamon Cheerios all over Donna’s pristine floors. Luckily, there is just enough for one bowl of this 5-bowl reincarnation of its former self.
In another all over the place episode, we’ll somehow get through checking out the listener supplied Cascadian Farm Dark Chocolate Almond Granola, plus Fiber One’s Honey Clusters! Andrew’s house if full of noise and Scotty’s blood pressure is high, as usual.
What a crappy time to have a birthday! Andrew is closing in on 30, and sitting in his parent's basement eating random cereal out of unmarked baggies for no pay. I'm sure Donna is thrilled that this is what her sweet boy has become. In any event, we'll try some Frosted Flakes from Annie's, and Scotty's mom's favorite...Kamut from Nature's Path.
While Andrew is off doing important producer-type things, the show must go on! So, Danielle sits in to co-host and we try some Berry Vanilla Puffs from Cascadian Farm, and Kashi really wants us to Go…so this time we will Wander with some cranberries and blueberries. We’re doing the best we can with audio, and since we all know Danielle is loud on her own, it took a lot of work to even this out!
We never will truly be happy with the sound quality until we are back in the studio together again, but we press on! Bringing back our friend Michele from Survivor to try out the new Spongebob Squarepants Cereal from Kellogg’s, then a re-brand of a classic Kashi Cereal, and we need the Immunity Idol for an international listener submission. Oh, Pico.
We think we have the audio issue solved. Well, maybe. Couldn’t find any new cereals for this episode, so we (well, Scotty) decided that we would check out store brand versions of Lucky Charms. One of them actual scored 5 Bowls! Find out which one in this exciting, yet annoying Andrew is still home episode.
This episode is terrible. As we still try to figure out the best technology to bring you new episodes, you'll see this isn't it. Scotty, Andrew and Danielle all join up on a Zoom call to try another listener supplied LIDL cereal, along with a Kashi By Kids and a new variety of Annie's.
Well…Scotty went and did it. The quality of the last episode with Andrew on the phone was unsatisfactory. So with Scotty the only one in the studio, he gives you an all-dead cereal episode! No trying anything here! To Andrew’s delight, all old commercials for cereals that no longer exist. Cool, huh? If you were a child of the 80s…this one’s for you!
Well, here’s the first train wreck episode as we figure out how best to record while in different locations. Andrew “phones it in” (as usual) and we check out some new Cascadian Farm squares, an unimpressive blueberry thing from Nature’s Path, and some listener supplied Nestle cereal from UAE, that implies it wants us to exercise.
In this final “normal” episode recorded in-studio, Mom will comfort us with her Crispy Cinnamon Rice, and we’ll head back to Poland for some nasty Cini Minis. Then we’ll try some really generic cereals from LIDL…one of them is really good!
Like we said, at this point…all we can try is whatever we have left in the Cereal Sack! So, in this episode we’ll get a really good cereal from Malt-O-Meal, another Quaker Simply Granola (with crispy raisins??) and 2 Polish Nesquik Cereals will jump into the ring, courtesy of our great listeners.
With the exception of that keto crap, this is the first episode without any major brands represented in our 3 boxes of cereal. All listener supplied, we’ll try some no name cookie cereal…a nasty box of Ezekiel…and kosher cereal that reminds Scotty of King Vitaman, which means we’ll hear an old commercial!
While everyone is doing their best to stay away from each other, we continue to eat cereal! Of course, this is pre-recorded, so, we are not actually together. In this episode, we'll try yet another Great Grains from Post and Mom will save the day with her Safari Cocoa Crunch. Then a listener submission that we think is called Corn Pleasure. Huh? Exactly.
Here to be your stupid cereal escape for 22 minutes. In this episode we will check out yet another Cheerios variety…Banana Nut! While Scotty is generally not a fan of banana flavor, he takes this one surprisingly well! Then, we’ll head to Madagascar and try to catch some Leapin’ Lemurs. Did you know they taste like chocolate peanut butter?? Plus, Passover is on the way, so we’ll visit Magic Max. Oh…you’ll see!
We’ve reached the 5th and final cereal from Andrew’s journey to Japan. Our translation expert Lydia Malcolm stops by to help us figure out the name of this cereal. We’ll also have a quick visit from Danielle to try some French Toast cereal from Kashi, and a classic Great Grains from Post.
Andrew is not a fan of berry filled things, and Scotty knows it. So, in this episode, there will be 2 to try! Yay! Then then #4 out of 5 Japanese Cereals that Andrew brought back from his trip, and we really don’t know what the name of it is. Plus, since this is episode 91, and Andrew was born in 1991, Scotty will try to stump him with lots of music from that year. What do you think will happen?
We’ve been seeing this cereal on social media for a few months, but it is only available in Canada. Our Awesome listener Jana and her husband Tony took a ride up north of the border and sent us a box of Chocolate Glazed and Andrew’s favorite, Birthday Cake! Gandhi happened to be passing through the studio, so you will hear her take as well. Then it gets a bit nuts as she and Andrew rip on Scotty. Good times.
We never realized how many strawberry cereals there were until we started doing this podcast! Danielle will join us to explore 2 more, both from Post, and the Shredded Wheat courtesy of our listener, Ramiro. Then, it’s back to Japan with another bag of something we can’t read! Is it cereal? Bread? Croutons? Who knows. But one of us spits it across the room!
When we came back from vacation, we returned to a studio full of boxes of cereal from you…our listeners! We’ll bang out 3 of them in this episode, including the return of Peeps Cereal from Kellogg’s, just in time for Easter! Plus, Andrew is allowed to break out one more cereal he brought back from Japan.
Andrew tries to break out all 5 cereals he brought back from Japan, but Scotty is not having it! Danielle tries to keep the peace, and is happy to try new Magic Fruity Pebbles from Post. Then Scotty’s granola vacation cereal stolen from the cruise ship buffet, plus, just one of Andrew’s smuggled Japanese cereals…Donut Mart.
Andrew isn’t very impressed, but Lucky just rode into town on his rainbow with a limited edition box of Lucky Charms for St. Patrick’s Day! Then, some delightful Frosted Mini Spooners from Malt-O-Meal. You may know that Ezekiel is bread found in the freezer section, but did you know it’s cereal as well? We’ll try the cinnamon raisin variety while reading some bible quotes. Why? You’ll see…
We love when Danielle stops by because Andrew looks like a deer in the headlights when Scotty tries to stump him with old songs and TV themes. Once again…success! We’ll try some more old school Shredded Wheat, a new Strawberry Shortcake Cap’n Crunch and some disappointing Kellogg’s Krave from across the pond.
How about some GIANT Crunch Berries? Why? Well, why not? We’ll try those, plus another Quaker Simply Granola, and we’ll head to Poland again for a Nestle Cereal that Andrew hates. Oh…and we’ll hear some interesting things about Scotty’s grandparents.
Life is good…the strawberry one, anyway. We’ll try that, plus – some bird nest courtesy of Fiber One, and Tootie stops by! (well, in cereal form) Remember Dolly Madison ice cream? Well guess what…Andrew doesn’t. Shocker.
Not sure if it’s a good thing or not, but Greg T briefly joins us to try some of Barbara’s Morning Oat Crunch. It’s always interesting when he shows up. Then we kick him out and get on to trying the delicious Cinnamon Frosted Flakes and a “healthy” Froot Loops wannabe from Freedom Foods. Oh…and listen carefully for when Andrew thinks that Regis is still hosting “LIVE”.
Well, since Andrew will never be on SURVIVOR, we’ll bring Season 32 (Kaôh Rōng) winner, Michele Fitzgerald, to Cereal Killers! She’ll help us check out a new (highly rated) Malt-O-Meal variety, some Mueslix that she can bring to the island, and a hoppin’ cereal from Poland.
Andrew’s sister Jackie joins us as we head to Poland to try some listener provided, candy bar themed cereal! Plus, we’ll try some plain old bran flakes and the new Frosted Honey Bunches Of Oats. Then, Scotty breaks out some Alt Rock to try to stump the older Millennial.
We try it…so you don’t have to! Danielle joins us to blow through 4 boxes of listener supplied Magic Spoon Keto-Friendly Cereal. Surprisingly, she kinda likes some of it. Her taste buds must have been burned off in a horrible accident. Then Nate pops in to introduce us to his favorite childhood cereal…Peanut Butter Bumpers!
Post has really been spot on with their Great Grains cereals…and here’s another. Plus, the classic Quaker Oatmeal Squares and we’ll head south of the border to try some Zucaritas from El Kellogg’s!
Hilarious…Andrew doesn’t know what a Cling Peach is! Oh, you don’t either? Scotty will clue you in when we try Peach Cheerios. Plus a new Special K and a giant brick of shredded wheat. Diamond and Andrew will bother Scotty the whole time. Good times!
This description will only make sense on release date, but oh well. Scotty was sick and screwed everything up. In any event, in this episode, we’ll check out another Kellogg’s Raisin Bran…this one with a scoop of raisins and a scoop of cranberries. Then more Kellogg’s loops as they introduce a new cereal that should have been out years ago. Then a non-descript box of knock-off Cinnamon Toast Crunch found at Lidl. Plus, you’ll hear Andrew struggle throughout for the name of a 90’s toy that his millennial brain cannot remember.
We’ll try 2 different medley cereals…one from Quaker and one from General Mills. Then, in marches the Queen. The Quinoa Queen! She needs to be dethroned immediately. We’ll get a visit from Max The Schnauzer, and will Garrett finally get to try something???
So excited that Elvis actually requested to do an episode with us! He’s here to try some ice cream themed cereals including Drumstick Mint Chocolate and Neapolitan Puffs Cereal from Trader Joe’s. Plus some underwhelming Special K and we’ll head across the pond for some weird, giant Rice Krispies as Scotty gets to play the Cereal Killers International Jingle!
Danielle just can’t stay away. Who can blame her? She helps Scotty & Andrew evaluate another here today, gone tomorrow, Kellogg’s Cereal. Then to a cardboard Kashi Cereal and a special bonus box from our listener, Marc.
Not only is Andrew finally back, but we get a visit from Danielle Monaro! At this point, she’s our part time co-host. Anyway, another candy themed cereal from General Mills makes an appearance, as well as a kinda classic Raisin Bran, some giant Reese’s Puffs, and we’ll head across the pond and hang with Coco The Monkey, as we go international!
Another example of Andrew not caring about this podcast, he is missing and we needed a new episode. So, since Scotty cares about you, he reviews 3 cereals with his daughter Ashley. 12 year olds can’t quite argue as well as a millennial, so this episode is fairly short. We’ll try (and Andrew will miss) the all-new General Mills mash-up of Cocoa Puffs and Lucky Charms, then the classic Banana Nut Crunch and a Trader Joe’s bonus box.
Welcome to the first episode of 2020! Enter our stinky studio as we try a relatively new berry Cheerios variety, as well as another Honey Bunches Of Oats flavor. Then we travel to Japan through the magic of Matcha Green Tea cereal. Not sure if that was the best idea. Bonsai! Ummm…that means planted in a container. Possibly where this cereal will end up.
Welcome to our year-end special! Awards going to the best and worst cereals of the year, plus a very heartwarming Spoony awarded in honor of our friend Wilford Brimley. In between awards, Andrew gets stumped (shocker) by more 80s TV themes, and we try some Secret Squirrel provided new cereals…Special K Banana and the highly anticipated and slightly disappointing Trix Tolls World Cereal. So squeeze into your tux and hit the red carpet…the star-studded Spoony Awards starts now!!!
Trying out the new Cheerios Oat Crunch variety…plus, the classic Grape Nuts Flakes. Then we get to some coconut. Andrew thinks he’s sucking down Coppertone, while Scotty is kinda into it. Plus, fights and make ups, as usual.
So excited that Danielle joins us again in this episode to try the all new Hershey’s Kisses cereal, courtesy of our Secret Squirrel! Then some OG Special K and another Pop Tarts Cereal variety. Plus, we’ll sprinkle in some 80s TV theme songs to make Andrew cock his head like a confused puppy.
Somehow, this one’s a 4-boxer! We’ll try another slew of blueberry cereals…who knew there were so many?? The all-new Eggo Blueberry Waffle Cereal makes an appearance, plus another Kellogg’s blueberry cereal, in the form of Frosted Mini Wheats. Then we’ll take on a Kashi clusters cereal and the bonus, back from the dead, Blueberry Muffin Toasters from Malt-O-Meal!
Andrew thought he would contribute a cereal for review…bad idea. I’m guessing someone likes Tumeric in their cereal…but Scotty and special guest Danielle, do not! Mom gets another shot with some marshmallows and some OG Special K, from all the way back in 19 Double Nickel!
Welcome back Eggo Cereal! While excitedly trying the homestyle version along with some old Red, White & Blue Cap’n Crunch and some organic cacao stuff, for whatever reason, Scotty was triggered by old 90’s alternative song titles that Andrew didn’t even realize he was saying. The clueless fun ensues.
So excited that Danielle joins us for the Christmas episode! Sadly, most of these cereals are pretty awful. We’ll take a look at the new Elf On The Shelf Cereal, along with Holiday Rice Krispies and Gingerbread Life. Does Andy like it? We’ll see! Then our savior comes along…French Toast Crunch! Thanks General Mills!
In this episode, our old pals Carla Marie & Anthony stop by to try some cereals, that apparently will all make Carla have gas and diarrhea. So let’s go! We’ll dive into some Honey Bunches Of Oats with PeCANS (or PeCONS if you’re silly), then some good for your gut Happy Inside from Kellogg’s, and the newest of the Pop-Tarts Cereal…Cookies & Crème! Get ready for Scotty to get mad as everyone talks over each other. Enjoy!
Well, I guess we have to. That YouTube kid Ryan…has a cereal. Sure…let’s make him richer. Oh…and it’s just another Kellogg’s “loop”. Then some real cereal, a fruity one with Fred & Barney that I can’t believe we haven’t rated yet. Also, another Toast Crunch family member…Apple Cinnamon. Is Andrew allergic? Listen and find out!
Post coming through again with even more Stuf in Oreo O’s Mega Stuf! Then some brown sugar Quaker stuff, but the plus side is, we get to hear from old, angry Wilford Brimley! Then, is it possible Scotty invented Fluffer Nutter cereal?? Cereal companies take note!
Andrew & Scotty try another one of the endless Special K varieties…but there’s chocolate, so it’s awesome! Then another listener request for some Coooooooookie Crisp (in a bag), and the wacky Cap’n is back with his Christmas Crunch.
In this episode, Andrew drags his vegan friend Casey in for a visit, much to Scott’s dismay. We try 2 bean based cereals, and one from Annie’s that wasn’t half bad. Good luck trying to get Scotty to drink vegan milk!
It’s a major prize inside bonus episode!!! Thanks to our friends at Post, we were able to get a preview box of new Hostess Twinkies Cereal before it is available in stores! Scotty is super excited, and millennial Andrew is just, meh. He sucks. Might as well also take a trip to the Cereal Graveyard with Dunkin’ Donuts Cereal.
Much like when Arnold showed up on an episode of The Facts Of Life (we can hear Andrew saying, “Who on the what?”) this epic crossover welcomes the Life In Spanglish girls into the cereal bowl to try Kellogg’s Frosted Mini-Wheats, an awesome new limited edition Toast Crunch variety for the holidays, and we’ll go south of the border to hang with Melvin.
Yes…that is actually a cereal, and one of our listeners is making us eat it. We’ll try another one of the original Chex varieties and the holidays are coming…and so are the holiday cereals! We’ll check out a new cinnamon vanilla cereal courtesy of Sir Charms!
This mid-week bonus episode features the new Toasted Coconut Cheerios cereal from General Mills…and can’t do just one, so we’ll throw in some Fruity Cheerios as well. Plus, a trip to the Cereal Graveyard to hang with the late King Ayumayuma. Who? Exactly.
Can you believe that Scotty has never seen ANY Star Wars movie??? But he has tried the cereal…in this episode! Plus Andrew declares Crispix the poor man’s Chex, and we’ll hang with the Paw Patrol Pups with another variety of Kix from General Mills.
According to Andrew, you don’t know what Double Nickel means. He likes to insult your intelligence. In any event, Diamond graces us with her presence and actually tries some Chex! There’s not much she can eat, so this is a huge accomplishment. She then leaves so we can try a new Krave from Kellogg’s and an obscure corn cereal from Quaker.
In this episode, we’ll check out a Fiber One cereal with fruit that Andrew is “allergic” to. Next, we’ll hang with the Quaker and some more cinnamon. Then…there’s rosemary. Why would you put rosemary in cereal? Well, actually, granola. We’ll investigate a Bear Naked variety. Oh, and Andrew is on his phone throughout the whole episode. Millennial.
Garrett must be mad that he is never allowed on, so he handed us a box. We tried what was in said box, and we’re surprised we made it through this episode. Tip: Don’t order cereals from Facebook or Insta ads. However, all is right with the world once again when we try some Frosted Mini Wheats from Kellogg’s! Quite frankly, we probably would have given Puffins 5 bowls after the crap we started off with! Have fun!
With a backlog of Special K cereals in the sack, we try one fruity, one nutty, and one ancient. Andrew will no doubt claim he’s allergic to something, and Scotty will no doubt reference some obscure 90s alternative song.
CKqkV2f8lPscJGRYJyt6
In this episode, we check out another Honey Nut variety from General Mills, plus Scotty is so happy he found a super expensive box of Morning Summit! Then we try a fruity Special K variety that Scotty had in his basement for a little too long. Will Andrew have an allergic reaction? Does Garrett actually get to finally review a cereal??? Listen and find out!
So…here it is. Our 50th episode! We thought it would be way more exciting. Scotty’s confetti sucked, and almost no guests showed up. Producer Sam popped in to help review the all-new Frozen II concoction from Kellogg’s, then classic Corn Flakes, and a discontinued variety of Raisin Bran Crunch for the Kellogg’s trifecta. Sorry…no refunds.
Andrew creates a new word, and we all create what would be a great new variety of Chex! Both Danielle and Skeery pop in to give their take. We’ll do a classic listener request from General Mills and a Seasonal Special K from Kellogg’s (but if you ask Andrew, he doesn’t know what the K stands for).
We finally get to try Peanut Butter & Jelly Puffs from Millville, Aldi’s private label. We’ll try another Frosted Mini Wheats variety from Kellogg’s, we hang with Three Sisters once again, plus…we’ll tiptoe through the Cereal Graveyard for a listener request!
Trying a new probiotic cereal from General Mills and the classic Blueberry Morning from Post. There’s also a bonus box that says they’re “Healthy Cereal For Your Family”. Can you guess? Plus we’ll let you know how you can score a coveted Cereal Killers T-Shirt!
Listener requests for the new Cheerios Oat Crunch and Malt-O-Meal’s Oat Blenders. Then our friend Paddy wanders in as we take a taste of Kellogg’s Special K Chocolatey Delight!
In this, the longest episode ever, Greg T somehow joins us and rants about how we should change up the podcast. Scott’s blood pressure goes through the roof as he tries to get him to leave. Eventually, we try classic Cheerios, some Fruity Probiotic Special K (that Greg has an allergic reaction to later in the day), and we give Mom another shot with her Honey Grahams. Good luck getting through this one.
In this episode, Scotty brings a nut butter cereal from Nature’s Path back from Santa Fe. A (kinda) healthy cereal that Scotty likes? What?? Then…shocker! Another one of Andrew’s “favorites”! Breaking out the Frosted Krispies from Kellogg’s. Then some great listeners sent us some Cap’n Crunch Halloween Crunch to try. Green milk! Eww!
We gave Barbara every opportunity to wow us with her crap cereals. She failed with Puffins…again. Bye Barbara! Another one of Andrew’s “favorites” in this episode, as we try Corn Chex. Also, will Kashi come through replicating Andrew’s beloved Cinnabon Cereal? We think not. Engineer Jeff makes a special appearance at the end, gaging right along with Scotty & Andrew.
We’ll dip a spoon into something Andrew has (of course) never heard of…Uncle Sam & Skinner’s Raisin Bran. We’ll counter that with Post Raisin Bran, then choke down some Pumpkin Spice Cheerios, since some listeners gave us hell for leaving it out of the Pumpkin Spice episode.
Danielle strolls into the studio uninvited to eat some Monster Cereals that Andrew claims he never had before (liar). Danielle calls Scott an a-hole (twice) and we take a trip back to The Cereal Graveyard to pay our respects to Fruit Brute and Fruity Yummy Mummy. Plus…a spooky bonus box!
While we actually try Frosted Cheerios in this episode, we had to throw chocolate in the title. Have some patience and you’ll find out why. Also included, a new fall variety of HBOO from Post and good ‘ol Cracklin’ Oat Bran from Kellogg’s…don’t forget to put your teeth in!
In this episode, we try 3 chocolate cereals that masquerade as “healthy”. They may not be stocked in every supermarket, but they are available nationwide. Will you want to try them? Doubtful…but we’ll do it for you and let you know. There is a chimp involved, but we promise…no poop throwing. “Hey guys!”
Scotty flips because he hates Pumpkin Spice stuff and Andrew tries to set him straight. Does Scotty come around? Listen and find out as we try a plethora of PS crap…Special K, Frosted Mini Wheats and Life…does “he like it”???
In this episode, we try a new Krave creation from Kellogg’s, the Chocolate version of Lucky Charms from General Mills (the off-season Count Chocula), and then there’s Mom’s Best Sweetened Wheatfuls. We’re glad she’s not our mom…the kids at school would laugh at us.
In this episode, Fancy Spirit Dancer and Mystic Nimble Flower try Kellogg’s Unicorn Cereal. We’ll just leave that there. Then some delicious Chocolate Chex, and another cereal Andrew has never heard of…Basic 4 from General Mills. Plus, we’ll take a trip to the Cereal Killers Graveyard to pay our respects to OJ Joe.
This time around we try some hashbrown lookin’ Weetabix, the new Maple Cheerios…when Andrew is devastated to find out a breakfast syrup fact…then on to the classic, can’t believe we haven’t done it yet, Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes!
Yes. We stopped at 2 doos on purpose. In this special listener request emergency episode...our buddy Matt sent us a box of new Baby Shark Cereal from Kellogg’s! Listener Jenn sent us some flax bran crap...and Danielle Monaro got us some old Rice Krispies. Listen as she tries them with us!
As Andrew requested, this episode revolves around granola! We picked one each from Kashi, Quaker, Nature’s Path and Cascadian Farm. Andrew hates fruit in cereals and Scotty can’t get enough. They truly are the perfect odd couple.
Today we feature Berry Berry Kix from General Mills…another one of Andrew’s FAVORITE cereals…how many can he have?? Plus, Scotty learns about sports with Wheaties and we love and hate new Kellogg’s Special K With Raspberries…can you guess who hates it?
Scotty punishes Andrew with a slew of vanilla cereals that mostly lack any vanilla flavor. The newest Raisin Bran Crunch is featured with vanilla and almonds which gets high ratings! However, it ends there. We follow that up with Vanilla Life (he doesn’t like it)…then a vanilla variety of Honey Bunches Of Oats from Post, and then Special K’s Vanilla & Almond. Ummm…listen to how Andrew had no idea that the big K is for Kellogg’s! Duh.
In this follow up to our first “healthy” episode, Scotty’s wife sits in and makes him choke down some Grape Nuts. That does not go well. Next is Smart Start from Kellogg’s, followed by a visit from the Cap’n with his classic Crunch from Quaker. Surprise! We also “dip” into a bonus box from General Mills!
After Scotty steals multiple packages of Malt-O-Meal Cereal from his daughter’s summer camp, we try these name brand rip-offs and actually enjoy at least one of them!
Scotty thinks it’s ok to consider these cereals both classic and new, since Froot Loops, Cocoa Puffs and Frosted Flakes have all been around for years…but now they all have marshmallows in them! Give a listen as Andrew assaults Scotty with each and every one of them!
Is he Andrew or Mikey? In this episode we try classic Life Cereal from Quaker, then 2 varieties of Kellogg’s Froot Loops…both Birthday Cake and Wild Berry. BTW…Andrew didn’t know berries can grow in the wild. Also, Scotty may have cut his foot on a loop. Give a listen! It’s loads of fun!
Wow…this was not a good one…as far as taste goes. We go from artificial tasting Oh’s, to some nasty Cotton Candy Crunch, then end up with gross, earthy, Cinnamon Puffins…courtesy of Barbara. Lesson learned -- always end with marshmallows!
OK…maybe it’s not a prize…or even anything remotely good…but thanks to our listener Kim, Andrew finally gets his Post Chicken & Waffles Cereal. Also included in this bonus episode is Chicken’s counterpart, Maple Bacon Donuts. Spoiler alert…there’s no actual chicken or bacon in either of these. But our mood suddenly brightens with a bag full of cereal marshmallows!!! However, even those can’t improve these thankfully limited edition messes. K thanks byeeee!
In this episode, we’ll (re)introduce you to Ice Cream Jones! Sadly, it’s not Ice Cream Cones Cereal from the 80’s…but kinda close! We try new Drumstick Cereal from General Mills! (Sorry Andrew, not a chicken drumstick)…Plus, we’ll dive in to the classic Multi-Grain Cheerios, and you’ll meet Big Yella. What cereal is he from??? Listen and find out!
Welcome to 25…where Andrew says we can rent cars. Huh? A creepy new fruity Mermaid swims on in from General Mills, then 2 Scoops and a CRUNCH with Kellogg’s Raisin Bran…and finally…Andrew goes cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs!
In this episode, special guest Crazy Cooper (Scotty’s Daughter) joins us as we discover Chocolate Toast Crunch. Then the wacky CAP’N and his crew cram all kinds of Crunch Berries in our pie holes. Do we shred the roof of our mouths? Does lactose intolerant Cooper mess the floor like Greg T did? Check out this action-packed episode and find out!
Thanks to a request by a Midwest listener, we try some corn cereals…including new Kellogg’s Honey Nut Frosted Flakes and the obscure Quisp from Quaker. Plus, we spell D-I-S-A-P-P-O-I-N-T-E-D with “improved” Alpha-Bits from Post.
In this episode, Danielle Monaro helps us test out some slightly healthier cereals, including Total from General Mills and Kellogg’s All-Bran. Yuck. We redeem ourselves by breaking out Post’s Honey Maid S’mores cereal!
Scotty introduces Andrew to one of his adult favorites that “shreds” his throat, then more cookies from Post as Scotty takes one for the team and tries Nilla Banana Pudding Cereal. Even marshmallows can’t save this one. Oh, and to cleanse our palates, more Oreos!!
This emergency bonus episode comes to you because there is BREAKING CEREAL NEWS that Andrew said could never happen. Kellogg’s has quietly changed the Rice Krispies Treats Cereal recipe! Gone are the clusters of treats you are used to. Scotty thinks this will take him back to his childhood when he loved Marshmallow Krispies. Does this new version do it? Or is it a disappointment to both of them???
Sugar Bear and Dig’em duke it out for puffed wheat supremacy! Then, for some reason, we need MORE sugar and break out a bonus box…of Golden Oreo O’s!
In this episode, we revisit plain old Kix, plus the new Kellogg’s Toy Story 4 cereal. We’ll also give Cheerios another chance with the chocolate variety…will Andrew come around???
In this episode, General Mills’ Golden Grahams brings back memories for Scotty and you’ll find out if Krave from Kellogg’s has a butt crack too!
In this episode, Gandhi joins us to put General Mills’ Cookie Crisp up against new Post Chips Ahoy, where you’ll meet Cookie Jarvis! Plus, Andrew demands a bonus…and it’s a honey of an O!
Here’s your prize inside! In this mid-week bonus episode, Scotty found both varieties of new Fillows Cereal from General Mills. Plus, hear Andrew’s disgust as we break out the BAG of Malt-O-Meal Fruity Dyno Bites!
Scotty doesn’t eat breakfast pastries…but he has no problem with them in cereal form! Hostess Honey Bun & Powdered Donettes cereals from Post go head to head in this one! Plus, we can’t quite rate Kix this time around.
Scotty buys gas station Cinnamon Toast Crunch cups that aren’t quite the same…then Cinnamon Chex and Cinnamon Life go head to head!
A is for Andrew, J is for Jerk. He may have given Apple Jacks way more bowls than they deserve. Plus, the slightly healthier cousin from another mother, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios.
Does Scotty finally award the coveted 5 bowls to his childhood love, Cocoa Pebbles? Do Marshmallow Fruity Pebbles make the cut? Can Andrew stomach Raisin Bran with Bananas? Only one way to find out! Listen! Yabba Dabba Doo!!
In this episode, Andrew is over the (yellow) moon when we break out the Rice Krispies Treats Cereal. Then that joy becomes nausea when a listener demands that we try new Sour Patch Kids Cereal.
Summer Strawberries! Well, kind of. In this episode, we take a taste of the new Strawberry Krispies, as well as Special K Red Berries, both from Kellogg’s. Then Scotty whips out a bonus from Malt-O-Meal…Andrews favorite brand!
In part 2 of the peanut butter special...we add a bit of chocolate into the mix. Somebody may vomit in this episode...just sayin'. We'll take a taste of the peanut butter chocolate varieties of Pebbles, Cheerios, Corn Pops and Reese's Puffs. Crunch!
Part 1 features Scotty and Andrew eating a pair of peanut butter cereals, a listener suggestion! We have Cap'n Crunch's Peanut Butter Crunch and Nutter Butter Cereal. Will either get the coveted 5 bowls?
Scotty and Andrew try the original Lucky Charms and newbies Fruity Charms and Frosted Flakes Charms. What will they think? Tune in to find out!
New from the CAP'N (make sure you say it right), is a Chocolatey Berry cereal. Will it be good? What does the milk taste like? Find out! PLUS: For our classic cereal we try Froot Loops - do we know what each flavor is? Andrew seems to think so...
IT'S BACK - YES the OG Honey Combs taste you love is BACK! How will Scotty B rank it? Plus, new Pop Tarts cereal, how will the taste of a Pop Tart taste in cereal form, find out in this episode.
It's Blueberry day on #CerealKillers! In this episode we review a new cereal, Blueberry Cheerios, how will it rank with its blueberry puree taste? Plus, for our classic cereal we go to Blueberry Chex.
Malt-O-Meal makes cereal? Apparently they do and its new Cold Stone Creamery Birthday Cake Remix cereal. Is it good? Does it taste like ice cream? Who knows but we try it! PLUS: For our classic cereal we stick with an original - Raisin Bran!
A cereal based off a video game? Well this could be interesting... this week we try new from Kellogg's Lucio-Oh's! PLUS: For our classic cereal Scotty breaks out Cocoa Krispies.
