Originally from Cape Town, South Africa his musical background started as a rock band musician where he played rhythm guitar and was a vocalist for a local band. A few years later the band parted ways. This was the catalyst to experimenting with electronic music and self taught music production.

After meeting on a dance floor in Toronto, CA of 2017, Ella and Valerie (Carerra & Tavares) had an immediate connection after realizing their common love for all things house and techno, including their deep passion for the more melodic side.
It’s through this passion and connection that ultimately led the duo to embark on the C&T project. Having played all the dance floors in their hometown of Toronto, which includes supporting international acts such as Eli & Fur, Maya Jane Coles, Audiofly, Dennis Ferrer, Bedouin and Ame, as well as international festivals such as BPM Costa Rica and SXM in St. Martin, has not only developed their reputation as both support and peak time artists, but also earned them their place in the dance music community and helped develop a loyal fan base.

From the south of Buenos Aires city, Tobías De Cancellis a.k.a. Lucien, has always found peace and joy in creating and enjoying music. Passing through lots of different musical genres, the expression of emotions through sound has always been his main objective when producing new music.
With the discovery of electronic dance music, he found a way of expression and at the same time a sound to share with other people and have a nice time together. Safety Mode is a musician and producer from Russia, in the city of Tyumen. He began his career in 2020 with releases on Try To Find Sound and Chuvstvo Ritma Rec. Initially, he was an ordinary listener like all of us, but he always dreamed of doing something of his own and sharing it with other people. This gave Safety Mode the motivation to start writing music.
He chose the organic / deep house genre because it most of all reflects his vision of music, which can evoke emotions even without words. The Russian producer got inspiration from other artists' releases on Anjunadeep and ADID as well as a lot of ambient music. He especially wants to mention the track Olgha from Taleman.
In the future, he plans to release music not only within the framework of one genre, but continue to grow as a musician and can be found with a soon-to-be EP on Canopy Sounds.

Pigsie is sort of a newcomer team to the scene. Well, only if you look at the name. Who was once known as The Disclosure Project, have a found a new alias with the same sexy, jazzy, house sound that is synonymous with the duo.
Both are respected DJ's who have been at the turntables since the early 90s. Their skills and ideas musically evolve from the background in classical music JP has carved out from his experiences in the Albert Hall and through concerts he participated in, combined with the street grooves and dirty funk Paul brings from his life long collection and love of house music.
The combination of classical and street sounds can clearly be heard through out every piece they create. Their sound has already seen them on big established labels, and they have been remixed by some of the deep house scenes favourite producers as well as remixing them also. Support for their work is well laid out by all the top jocks and producers in the deep house scene, and their tracks can be seen and heard in radio shows and DJ sets through out the world.

Magnofon is British based producer Harry Towell, who records Deep House music, as well as operating within the Ambient music scene with his Whitelabrecs label.
Harry’s background in House music came from his DJing days in the early 2000s and ever since, he’s been experimenting with electronic music production. Primarily, he sees himself as a music lover and record fanatic, searching the depths of underground music scenes. He recently launched the Wallofhouse blog which curates a collection of the latest House records into a visual ‘wall’ of recommendations.

The word Concha or Shankh in Spanish has a deeper meaning related to positive vibrations exuding courage, hope, optimism, willpower and bliss which is exactly what he strives to achieve with his music.

Born Jason Baez, his love for collecting electronic music quickly turned into more than just a passion and became a full-on career. He was named Miami's Best DJ in 2013 by Miami New Times, which characterized him as “the hardest-working DJ in Miami.” baez also held a residency at the legendary venue, The Electric Pickle, served as a former partner in NYC-based promoter and talent agency, Bespoke Musik, and currently hosts his Fordel podcast series on FriskyRadio’s groundbreaking electronic music internet radio and DJ mix subscription service. His DJ sets take audiences on a journey, providing a deeper message through music. His exceptional programming skills interweave the sounds to create an immersive experience that transcends the ordinary. He is one of those artists with the rare ability to tell a story with music.
baez has played in many countries around the world and has shared the DJ booth with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Bedouin, Maceo Plex, Damian Lazarus, DJ Tennis, and Jamie Jones, just to name a few. He has also made waves with releases under major labels such as Nie Wieder Schlafen, Magician on Duty, Constant Circles, and LNDKHN. His remix of Urmet K & The Lazarusman’s “The Meeting,” released with Magician on Duty, peaked at #8 on Beatport’s Top 100 Deep House Chart, received a lot of plaudits from industry experts, and garnered widespread support from top DJs.
In 2020, he co-founded the record label Minds Alike with Samihe. They are cultivating a community of like-minded artists who share a similar acoustic expression within the electronic music space. The label is already gaining traction, with multiple releases all charting on Beatport’s Top 100.

Terresan is a German-American producer based in Berlin and New York City. Apostolis Loussis aka Plecta was born in 1986 and he lives in Athens. He has been involved with music since his childhood. At the young age of ten, he began his education in music with the guitar, but his passion slowly began to steer towards electronic music and the desire to compose such music.
He is influenced by a huge range of sound colours throughout the electronic music scene. Completely self taught, over the years, his music creations increased even more. Doing composing, he realised Deep House music as organic , dreamy, melodic sounds were his spirit of energy and passion became the “signature” of Plecta’s musical compositions. His passion continues to drive him and be the main force behind his music.
At the past, he has made several releases to other types of electronic music such as Techno, Minimal and more. However, the Deep House music is the one that eventually drew his attention. Inspired by new music ideas, his journey begins, giving a natural and electronic sound at his music creations and pushing his limits a step further.

Dzhef born and raised in the capital city of Tajikistan, a country in Central Asia bordering Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, where dance music was very unfamiliar and foreign to the traditional customs of the Tajik people, Dzhef has always been more of an adventurer on a quest of self-discovery. It is music where he found his calling and where that search would come full circle.
Music was always second nature to this quickly developed producer. Born with a good ear, he inherited his father’s technical mastery as a music engineer as well his mother’s penchant for dance as a singer of the national folk ensemble. In fact his entire family including his siblings have been involved with music in one capacity or another so it's only befitting that Dzhef would grow up and be the first producer from his clan and one of Tajikstan’s most promising musicians in the world of dance music.
His background encompasses a decade of immersion in dance music and he is considered a pioneer within his own community back home having helped build an otherwise nonexistent scene and turning countless others on to the music he so passionately loved. Considering himself a rock music fan before, Dzhef’s ear would quickly become enamored with electronic music during his later teen years upon first discovering trance, an experience all too familiar for many of us enthusiasts of dance music who would also make the subsequent evolution to the deeper side with a slower tempo yet still find attachment to music that evokes strong emotion, he has tremendous affinity for music that gives you goosebumps and truly wishes to capture the human experience in all of its emotional complexity through his sound.

Jhonatan Ghersi is a Uruguayan dj and producer, born in the city of Montevideo - Uruguay. From a very young age, he felt his taste for music, and not related to the electronic genre, he began to take his first steps in it from 2006 as a DJ doing his own raves in the city of Sauce - Canelones, where he lived great part of his adolescence and formed.
He then decided in 2007 to study with one of the leaders of the national scene such as DJ Oscar Valdez and thus be able to insert himself into the Montevideo scene. In 2010 he began his production studies with the renowned dj / producer Nicol·s Silvano (LogiztikSound) and in 2011 he held an electronic music workshop with the renowned musician Emil Montgomery.
Always influenced by melodic and deep sounds, it is what keeps him in his own style and with his own personality when performing his dj sets, radio shows and productions. He began to release his music in 2017 on various labels, including Dreamers, a label in which he released two mini albums called "They are on me" (2019) and "From The Soul" which has been released recently this year.
His music has been supported by great artists at a regional and global level such as Fernando Ferreyra, Dj Ogawa, Dj Borra, Paul Van Dyk, Solarstone, among others.

Born in 1989 in Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam, Bach was taught to play the piano when he was eight years old. Later on he took academic piano lessons at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, graduated the Intermediate Long-term program in 2009 and achieved the Piano Bachelor's degree in 2014. Bach has been playing the piano for more than 10 years now and this impressive sound has had a big influence on his music career ever since he started playing. He then discovered his passion of composing music and started his own project ‘B.A.X.’ at the age of 18. He has spent a lot of time to do research about electronic music and composed his first New Age / Ambient works.
He stepped into the movie filmscore in 2010 and started composing many filmscore for several short films, later on composing filmscore for feature movies from 2014, some of those are "Sweet 20" or "The Girl From Yesterday" directed by Phan Gia Nhat Linh.
He started the DJ career since 2012 with Heart Beat Saigon and since 2016 with HRBR (Harbour Saigon). Through many years of cultivation, the color of his Deep & Progressive House music has gradually become an unforgettable symbol, a color that melody and harmony are the main euphonious factor that was influenced a lot from his musical filmscore background. From here on, he began to produce electronic music for his own dance floor.
In 2018, his very first EP ‘Microcrystals’ was released on MNL sub-label from Paul Hazendonk’s Manual Music, the release was miraculously praised by Paul himself as well as other renown artists. Following in early 2019 was a highlight when he dropped down ‘Moongazer’ EP on Manual Deep and ‘Nature’s Hymn’ EP on 3rd Avenue, single tune ‘Pongour Falls’ featuring in SC2019 compilation on HOSH’s imprint FRYHIDE. With a vast understanding of music, until now he has produced and brought many grand releases on more labels such as Sound Avenue, Muak Music and Soundteller Records.
To continuing the musical journey, he decided to establish his own label Holy Grail Music in his hometown in 2019 which has been a dream he have cherished for years, an opportunity to gradually expand the music production and connection with local artists as well as artists around the world.

Arian and Akar are both 26 years old, DJ and producers living in Malmö, Sweden.
Since very young age they have had big interest for electronic music. Nowadays they are experimenting and producing Deep House, Tech House and Nu-Disco with releases on record labels such as DeepClass records, Conic records, Itom recordings, Samui recordings, Lisztomania records, Mole music, Kudoz records. It was in Ibiza 2015 where Akar became a finalist in world's biggest DJ competition and Sweden's representative at ''Burn Residency 2015'' where he was chosen as one of 20 DJs who got to be part of it where 8000 + DJs from 130 countries applied for.

Producers Shakib Jakir and Eric Shans team up for this Canopy exclusive mix which highlights tracks coming on the Canopy Sounds label over the remainder of 2020.
Shakib Jakir started his musical journey at a very young age. He grew up learning Indian classical music at the age of 4 playing harmony with his father. For years he played the bass, but his love for the melodic structures of deep house & techno drew him to produce his own crafted electronic creations. He learned production from some of his very close and talented friends, but his unique sound and production style came so naturally that he has since then taken his own path where he often blends beautiful strings, organic drums, and world sounds.
Eric met Shakib a few years back on Soundcloud of all places when Shakib heard some of Eric's productions. He has been making music for two decades that range from ambient, to synth driven house, and electronic pop, and everywhere in between, while also running his own labels. The two have since built a lasting friendship which has since blossomed into a true production team. They've worked on many things over their time of knowing each other but now they've finally honed on a sound that truly works for both of them.
Shakib and Eric's mix demonstrates the Canopy motif which is memorable, soul enriching music that stems from the heart's core. 3 of their tracks, "Yuhi"(Sunset), "Empyrean", and "Ardour" from their forthcoming Canopy EP "Ardour" can be heard on this exclusive mix. Their EP is set to be released in September.

GastoM started his life of music at a young age playing percussion within his school bands while growing up in Mendoza, Argentina. He then took to the guitar and piano, taking lessons from his brother. After discovering a passion for the vast world of electronic music in 2012, he embarked on a journey to become a producer at the School of Music of Buenos Aires (E.M.B.A.). Acts like Stimming, DAVI, Mark Alow, Kora, and others are among his biggest influences, which is apparent in his style of production; ebbing between Deep House, Techno and Progressive House. He is always adding in organic instrumentation and percussion, providing a unique and alive sound. Some recent releases have been showcased on labels such as The Purr and Outsider Records. We are happy to host this young and talented gentleman for this week's guest mix.

Few can rival this Munich based producer and DJ's tender and careful ear for introspective soundscapes that pair with soft and thunderous grooves alike. As one of the founders of the beloved Nie Wieder Schlafen label and music collective, trustless and his friends yearned for something different than the music that was around them early in 2014. While waiting for a David August performance during the wee hours of the morning, Steppi and his crew knew they could not sleep, hence the meaning of NWS (Never Sleep Again). This whimsical story would become the root for what was to become one of the most captivating and inspiring underground deep house collectives around. Since then, the ideas has moved from festival fields, to T-Shirts, Youtube and finally a juggernaut label with releases from artists including trustless himself, Quatri, Modulo, Padre, Sam Goku, Kotu, Jayden Klight, Timo Chinala, Varaz and more.
The idea of being "trustless" evokes feelings of having your head a bit up in the clouds. It embraces uncertainty but with an excitement for what might be uncovered. The music of the NWS crew aims to create atmospheres where a distinct emotion isn't so clear. In our current global context we are all asked to embrace the unknown, however we embark on this journey together, not alone. Kevin has been a deep dreamer for years now. While one of his homes lies out in Black Rock City, Watry has made Chicago his urban dusty playground. After an extended break from DJing for a few years, Kevin has been back in the saddle and played alongside acts such as Robbie Akbal, Christian Voldstad, Rodriguez Jr, Viktop and more. Had it not been for Covid-19, Watry was prepping for a special evening to play alongside the almighty Sabo. Kevin's taste ranges from downtempo world sounds, driving tribal, delicate and dreamy, to whimsical bangers. This special selection from Watry exemplifies the world he creates when behind the decks.

Canopy Sounds is back with rising Russian deep house talent, Arina Mur. Arina's first release on Truesounds Music label received great support from such famous musicians as Nick Warren, Soul Button, Nicolas Rada, Cid Inc., Igor Marijuan, Gab Rhome, and more. While only DJing and producing for a few years now, she has found herself playing energetic and vibrant sets in top Russian clubs around Russia like Gazgolderand Propaganda. More recent ventures have taken her abroad to Hungary, Montenegro, Slovakia, Belarus and Cyprus.
Arina's production style is very playful and whimsical, featuring elegant synth passages against organic and slightly progressive rhythmic shapes. Her recent release "Magic Wand" was met with great praise on Anjunadeep earlier this year. She has also proven herself as a serious remix artist with releases on Seven Villas and Truesounds Music. Audiotones has been recently diving deep into melancholic, sultry and uplifting textures of sounds with releases on labels such as WAYU, Magician On Duty, Sag & Tre, as well as our very own Canopy Sounds. Their earlier releases featured more classic Deep House tropes with thicker grooves and dubby pads, while their more recent work has found solace in more reserved and patient grooves and relaxing melodies. It's a catalog well worth exploring and is only growing stronger with each release. An expert at creating harmonious illusions of sound, Germany’s Powel always finds a way to thread together natural elegance and tasteful patience in music. Having learned the piano at a young age and subsequently performed regularly with bands and even an orchestra, Powel's palette of music has a vast and thorough foundation that is influenced by the people and places he comes across during his visits. His unique touch as a musician is heard by how he captures warm, celestial vibes filled with airy atmospheres together with delicate rhythms and tells a melancholic story fused with ghostly, low slung cuts that are rich with nuance and subtlety. Powel steadily explores this duality in sounds not only throughout his discography but in his performances around the world which included his inaugural debut on the ROBOT HEART bus in 2016.

All Day I Dream artists - Classical Pianist/Composer Van Anh Nguyen and DJ/Drummer/Producer Mark Olsen blend their two worlds together to form a unique dreamy mix of live acoustic and electronic sounds. Originally being musicians before diving into the Electronic world, the duo love to add in live elements in their production and live sets.
Both successful in their individual careers: Van Anh (Signed to Universal Music) has toured as a Classical Pianist performing as a soloist with orchestras around the world and has taken out the iTunes no.1 spot multiple times in the Classical Singles Chart. Mark Olsen won the 2016 DJ/Producer of the Year award at the AIMA awards, and has released music on labels such as Toolroom, EMI, Sony and Ministry of Sound.

Maxi Degrassi, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. has signed many of his own productionsnotorious melodic and deep record labels such as Seven Villas, Sudbeat and Plattenbank. One of his most notable releases of late was the "Bells In The City" EP from Magician On Duty. It was remixed by a stellar cast of like minded vibe creators; Armen Miran, Erdi Irmak, and Bona Fide. Degrassi is currently on a journey of rhythmic and melodic sounds that whisk listeners away into an impeccably introspective and emotive experience. Early morning radio voice, DJ and producer Jürgen Pärnsalu aka Kyka from Estonia began to get interested in music actively in 1996. He made acquaintance with DJ technique and started to play records for fun. Soon he started to explore the magical world of producing. He discovered that the best way to express himself and achieve his goals is through electronic music. Today we are able to place Kyka as a veteran next to other Estonian deep house producers. He's career now in radio, also as a DJ & producer dates back for over decade with releases on world known labels supported by the greatest names in house scene.

Valentin Ortiz aka Nodo was born in Santa Rosa, La Pampa. Since the early beginnings, music has been playing an integral role for him, participating in bands and collaborating with other musicians. Artists like Simon Vuarambon, Kevin Di Serna, Andy Arias and Santi Mossman from his hometown have been a big influence.
Now he's going through a personal journey on his own productions, being more interested in deep house, deep dub and minimal. He has been supported by names like Guy J, George X, Electric & One, Pandhora, Adrien (RO), Fernando Ferreyra, Ramiro Rossotti and others.

An aura appeared up the path ahead, glowing with blissful futures...
Since its first release in 2010, the evolution and progress of Valdovinos never stopped. Obtaining an excellent reception and recognition of his work by the electronic music environment, both in Argentina, his country, as in the rest of the world, whether as a producer, musician or DJ. Allowing him to present himself throughout his country and in other countries such as France, Italy and Spain.
The energy and constant self-improvement led him to edit a collaboration with Facundo Mohrr in Suara, the label of Coyu, as well as editing in Cyclic by Mihai Popoviciu, L'enfant Terrible, Sudebat by Hern·n Cattaneo and Shanti Radio Moscow. In addition to appearing on the album Balance Series presents Sudbeat 2017, mixed by Hernan Cattaneo; at the end of 2017 he released his track 'My Heart' in the annual compilation of the outstanding Kindisch label, alternative label of the giant Get Physical.
In 2018 it reappears in Kindisch with 'The Mask' for the compiled Kindisch Steps X and makes his debut on All Day I Dream, with "November", a collaboration with Facundo Mohrr, with whom also release an EP on Tale & Tone. And another one release again on Adid, "The reverse loop of love".
Valdovinos has constant support from big names of the scene like Lee Burridge, Lost Desert, Hoj, Chaim, Hern·n Cattaneo, Amine Edge & DANCE, Dj T., Yooko, Mariano, Mihai Popoviciu, among others, who use many of their productions in their presentations.

Belgian based Dj and producer Mike Tohr started his musical adventure back in 2008. As a DJ Mike always tries to create a story, he will take you on a trip of deep-melodic and progressive music.
Mike Tohr has played in the best Belgian clubs like Fuse, Ampere, Labyrinth club, Vaag and has played on the famous Diynamic stage at Tomorrowland! Today Mike has already shared the decks with name’s like Stephan Bodzin, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Recondite, Hunter/Game and many more.
With a love for nature he often takes his recording equipment with him into the woods. Here he records samples that he uses to create his own unique organic sound.
Thanks to a continuous search for improvement, Mike Tohr has released on different international labels such as Einmusika, (Einmusik’s label), Tale & Tone (Lee burridge’s Label), Subjekt, Atmosphere records And many more.

White Leaf is passionate about his little boutique label he often calls the orchard - based on the imagery surrounding the label. With his EP coming soon dropping on David Hohme's Where The Heart Is, his recent remix on Silk Music and a recent single on Magician On Duty affirm White Leaf's position as someone to keep an eye out for.
With Manchester being his home ground now, White Leaf’s name was made up randomly - quite conversely to his decision of becoming a producer/DJ. Besides producing, White Leaf likes time out under the sun, aimless imagining of the beach and a fine drink with friends.

A path meanders steadily into the golden meadow...all possible futures lie ahead...
A long-time favourite in his native country, Gadi Mitrani has been representing the Turkish underground with esteem since he first burst onto the scene over 15 years ago. A unique and prodigious talent, Mitrani’s ceaseless love for all things electronic music has led to some of the scene’s most hallowed and celebrated dancefloors. A true visionary, he was one of the first to notice the potential of Turkey’s electronic music scene — and as such is deemed an influential figure to many of the country’s fledgling electronic music producers.
Famed for his signature deep, tech and prog-heavy sets, Mitrani is a DJ notable for his versatility and a man who’s more than able to chop it up with the best of them. In 2015 he debuted on Kompakt KX courtesy of ‘Key of Stillness’, a suitably momentous cut that introduced Mitrani to a whole new audience and duly elevated his status within the global electronic music process. Supported by well-known DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo and Powel, it’s a true gem in a discography that’s littered with highlights.
The last few years have been equally fruitful for Mitrani. Now a firm fixture in some of the globe’s best-known labels, he’s repped everyone from Pablo Bolivar’s Seven Villas, Lee Burridge & Hoj’s Tale & Tone to Maurice Aymard’s Galaktika over past while, with Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur, Khen, Gabriel Ananda and Danny Howells all regularly supporting his music in their sets. Production duties aside, Mitrani has also shared the stage with the likes of Guy J, &Me, Michael Mayer, Guy Mantzur, Patrice Baumel, Rampa and Jeremy Olander. Aside from appearing alongside the latter list, he’s also rocked stages recently in Ibiza as well as at Off Sonar and Burning Man: proof if needed that this is a man currently on a fierce upward trajectory.

Jeronimo Lopez Amadori aka Deep Within was born in February of 1989 and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, now based on Barcelona. He felt his attraction to the first synths, rhythm boxes, and subs generated by bands and producers like Chemicals Brothers, Moby, Morcheeba, Tricky, Massive attack, Portishead, Prodigy, Faithless, and more. This search and discovery of electronic music was accompanied by the desire to manipulate and mix those styles. He started taking classes with Juan Pryor, renowned Underground DJ of Buenos Aires, who taught him the concepts of the mixing.
Amadori has shared the DJ booth with a vast array of accomplished producers and DJs alike such as Bart Skils, Acid Pauli, Geju, Nick Muir, Olivier Weiter, Sailor&I, Karmon, Digitaria, Jimmy Van M, Robert Hardy, Madloch, Andrea Cassino, Marcelo Vasami, Kevin Di Serna, Soundexile, Facundo Mohrr, Ariel Rodz, Mike Griego, and many more.

Deeper Sounds was founded by Andy Eastough in October 2012.
The brand started out as a mix series followed shortly after by the launch of the Radio Show on MixIr in February 2013. The biggest move for the brand took place on the 1st April 2017 and the launch of Deeper Sounds on British Airways In-Flight Radio. De La Swing (ELROW), Paul Hardcastle (19), Martin Smith (Deeper Sounds) and Andy Eastough were chosen to provide the soundtrack for the inaugural show, with Maxine Hardcastle on voiceover duties.
Fast forward to May 2018 and Deeper Sounds announced the addition of three brand new shows exclusively for British Airways In-Flight Radio, including All Day I Dream of Deeper Sounds with Lee Burridge and Guests.
Since the launch of Deeper Sounds on British Airways in April 2017, the show has reached a staggering 54,000,000 people!!!

Hailing from Montreal with Lebanese/Persian roots, formerly known as BiG AL, BiGz is surely one of the longest serving, globally renowned and respected Middle Eastern DJs on the planet, starting his extensive career back in 1989.

With such a variety of tunes under their belt, they have a unique ability to concoct unique and enticing vibes to a myriad of settings and atmospheres for dancers all around the globe. Born in Ecuador, country in the middle of the world, Jaime became a part of the Ecuadorian movement of producers and DJs in his early 20's, collaborating alongside top national artists like Andre Salmon (Hottraxx, Suara), George Levi (Resident DJ at Lost Beach Club) and Chris C. (Desert Hearts, Inwave).
Jaime has garnered some well deserved attention over the recent years. His first EP "Recon” was released on Anima Somnis, one of the most prestigious labels from his hometown Ecuador, Guayaquil. His dedication to minimal and multi-textured grooves was noticed by Kindisch, who released his track entitled "Drana" (with Chris C.) on their Steps Compilation XIV alongside artists such as Kora, Vincent Cassanova, Modd, and more.
Jaime’s music has been supported by top artists like YokoO, M.A.N.D.Y., Lost Desert, Matt Tolfrey and Primarie to name a few. Mayer has picked up new sounds and rhythms by moving from Ecuador to Puerto Rico, and recently Miami, culminating in a unique medley of minimal, house and techno. Jaime has played at clubs like TRADE (Miami), Do Not Sit on the Furniture (Miami), The Public Works (San Francisco), Monarch (San Francisco) and Club Epic (Puerto Rico).

Tick tock! The swing glided back and forth with the morning breeze. Nestled upon it was a tiny kitty-cat, nestling in for a cozy nap as his nose filled with the aroma of the surrounding flowers...sweet dreams...sweet dreams.
Relaxing in the meadow with us today is none other than Christian Voldstad, and his sidekick, Kitty-Cat.
Christian acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene, a party enthusiast, and an avid techno tourist.
Most recently Christian has been playing across Brooklyn and Manhattan and as far away as Black Rock City, Amsterdam, Moscow, Peru and Cape Town. His sophisticated taste in music earned him a residency for Bespoke Musik where he continues to explore his love of vinyl records, piano melodies and funky basslines.

Delicious, sophisticated, driving and soulful dance-floor ready melodic, deep, and tech house is the name of the game for the on and only, Ms. Marymoon. She has been serving as the primary selector at parties such as Space Ibiza, Elrow, Secret Garden Party in the UK, and destinations like Cova Santa, Tulum, and Burning Man. The St. Petersburg based DJ and Producer has been focusing on building a reputation in the last couple of years releasing music on renowned underground labels such as Culprit LA, Selador and Submarine Vibes among others. Having just completed a Latin American tour, she is a rising up-and-comer to keep an eye on as she continues to tour the world. Her performance is reflective of a humble, compassionate soul with a pure passion for music and art, which she uses to connect deeply with her audience in order to create a genuinely interactive and beautiful experience. Marymoon's new EP "Don't Go" from Emotive Records is a tried and proved four-to-the-floor dance floor mover with some incredibly juicy grooves and synth lines that will surely keep the vibe going late into the night.

Brazilian DJ Servelin has developed his love for music while listening to progressive house icons like Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, but after discovering more moody, melodic and rhythmic deep house sounds he realized that he had found his niche. His main influences are now include many of the ADID and Shanti Radio Moscow label members such as YokoO, Lee Burridge and Gorje Hewek & Izhevski Currently, Servelin is resident of Flora, one of the fastest growing electronic music events in Southern Brazil. The sounds of Servelin are filled with lush melodic mixes as well as chunky rhythmic mashups. Prepare for a soulful and bouncy hour of fun !

39 year old Colm Maguire is a Irish-borh, Queens, NY-based DJ. Colm’s early influences came from the 80’s-Electro scene including Orbital, The Cure, Depeche Mode and many other artists. Through the 90's, Colm looked up to heavyweights such as Sasha & Digweed, Underworld, Nick Warren, and Danny Howells. Colm’s sound has moved into a more deep and melodic state due to the likes of industry lovable Lee Burridge and his clan of destiny dreamers, Lost Desert, PHCK and the bunch.

Greek-based, Chicago-born Savvas is a producer and DJ has been experimenting with electronic music production since 1992. By the late nineties he was playing various clubs and open-air parties around Athens. He has been honing in a very deep, moody and rhythmic studio sound on labels like Anjunadeep, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Manjumasi, and Where The Heart Is. Our Romanian friend has established himself as one of quickly rising names in the deep, melodic/progressive scene. Aiming at developing and fostering community around groovy and melancholic vibes he founded Deep House Bucharest, a home for quality deep house music. Bross keeps the dancefloor satisfied with his commitment to the groove, which has led to major appearances alongside Lost Desert, Lee Burridge and Mihai Popoviciu. His studio sound ranges from delicate and dreamy, to more groovy, afrobeat and whimsical house sounds. His most recent project "Miragviglia EP" will be releasing on Magician On Duty in September. Ramiro Rossotti brings a delicate patchwork of breezy vibes this week to Canopy Sounds.
From Buenos Aires, Argentina, this young producer has a special knack when in the studio. His slightly down tempo and gentle sounds have landed him releases on Talavera Records and Bercana Music. 2017 marked a US debut at Behrouz's niche spot in Miami, Do Not Sit On The Furniture. His most recent release with Magician On Duty "Ethereal Road" features three original tracks - each paired with remixes from Valdovinos, Savvas, and former Canopy Sounds guest, VieL. Upcoming tracks have been recently supported by Death On The Balcony as well as fellow Argentinian, Kevin Di Serna.

A haze settled in over the orange glow of dusk. Visibility was all but lost on the jungle floor, yet just peaking through the canopy mist above was a loan tree. Like an oasis in the sky it loomed above, as if trying to capture the final fleeting moments of the drifting horizon...
CSN - Florin Gheorghe - has been digging for deep and groovy tracks since 2004. This Romanian DJ has a special touch when it comes to creating a vibe. He began to experiment with production in 2003 which fueled his motivation for electronic music and DJing. CSN has been on a hiatus of sorts from the DJ life, and has honed in on a new melodic sound that can still be traced to his more progressive and minimal roots. Florin draws influences from acts like Desyn Masiello, Danny Howells, Guy Gerber, Lee Burridge, 16 Bit Lolitas, Hernan Cattaneo, Yvel & Tristan, Jody Wisternoff, and more. His production style is in a constant state of evolution, especially following a life changing experience at All Day I Dream - Woodstock 69 in 2017 where he discovered a new realm of sound of which to apply his melodic ambitions.

This Romanian born, Oslo baed DJ inherited the love for music from his father who was a big fan of UB40, Pink Floyd, Scorpions, Depeche Mode and many other legends of the time. He was more recently inspired by his girlfriend's preferences in music such as Lost Desert, Matthias Meyer, YokoO, NU, Davi and many more.

Eyes gazing down into the aqua blue. Ripples dance upon the surface as the sea bubbles with life from below. Creatures of the abyss swim and swirl like ballet dancers through space. Reflections and shadows move in and out of one another, dreams become reality...
For our 8th chapter, Canopy Sounds welcomes German trio, PHCK.
Friends, songwriters, producers, instrumentalists, performers and deep dreamers. Formed in 2014 in the town of Pforzheim, Germany - a stone's throw to the Black Forest - the collective sounds of Paul Hoffer & Chris Kusterer & Stefan Kling have slowly but surely inundated the deep house and downtempo/electronica scenes around the world. Their productions cary a certain amount of raw delicacy that inspires deep reflection and emotion.
PHCK's sounds have found their way to a number of notable labels such as last year's "Elephants EP" on All Day I Dream, Connaisseur Recordings, Dilate Records, and most recently, "Natu" on Nie Wieder Schlafen. They were also recently featured alongside Bachir Salloum for their impressive remix of "Reeba" on Dream Culture. Each and every soundscape created is sure to be filled with rich atmospheres of any instrument you might possibly imagine. From swirling pads, to round bass lines, to delicate, pianos, guitars, and the frequently heard handpan. There is sure to be a sonic corner for everyone in the world of PHCK.
Having been playing shows in Germany for sometime, PHCK recently made their first trek over to the US for their live debut at the Behrouz's renowned musical escape, Do Not Sit On The Furniture. The breeze whistled through the air like whispering spirits, welcoming wanderers down a distant path. The destination was unknown, yet the atmosphere warm and blissful. Sunlight sparkled through the air and trees began to sway and dance to an omnipresent, whimsical energy.
Canopy Sounds continues this week with another representative of the thriving deep house scene of Romania, Adrien (RO). Releasing his debut EP, "Imagination" on the rapidly rising label Magician On Duty, Adrien has already gained support from industry stalwarts such as Lost Desert, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, and more. The EP featured remixes from the likes of Bona Fide and George X.
Adrien is coming off of a major event at Deep In The Grass alongside Bross, Facundo Mohr, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski. With new music on the way, the sky is the limit for this rising Romanian talent!

The sun had risen to its peak and the yellow star soaked the beach inhabitants in an encapsulating aura of energy. Rhythmic sounds began to make themselves heard from just beyond the tree line. Shivers and goosebumps could be felt head to toe. The canopy erupted with feelings of love and happiness until the sun went to sleep and the moon rose to celebrate.
Canopy Sounds continues its venture with a sun-drenched patchwork of emotional grooves and rhythms from newcomers and duo, MRCO.
MRCO connected over their mutual love for the more melodic and playful sides of deep house music. One of its members will be debuting brand new original material later on this year that will be sure to evoke feelings summer nostalgia and blissful memories.

Our maiden voyage begins with over one hour of selections from duo, Celestial Strangers.
This sonic venture wades through a myriad of lush melodies, bouncy hooks, and does not forget to nod towards the sonic roots of deep house.
Celestial Strangers' debut EP was released on Akbal in fall of 2017 after much anticipation from the deep and dreamer communities. The EP has been supported by the likes of YokoO, Nick Warren, Damian Lazarus, Audiofly, Lost Desert and more.
