In this episode of Uinfluence Podcast Raphael goes over four main mindsets of a leader. The material for this podcast is taking from one of the segments of Small Business Success Academy online training that is designed for small business owners.

Most small business owners either assign the responsibility of digital marketing to their front desk receptionist/administrator (HUGE MISTAKE) or hire a freelancer to handle graphic design, copy writing, analytics, video editing, etc. (EVEN BIGGER MISTAKE). These are the types of mistakes that cost a ton of money to small business owners, only because they tried to SAVE money...but on the wrong things.

Effective marketing requires a combination of skills which vary in cost, respectively, due to their value, time and scarcity,

Posting images on your business social media pages isn't marketing. You're better off teaching your front desk receptionist how to sell and close over the phone.

Hiring one freelancer to handle seven elements of marketing to improve your business and get new customers is a waste of time, energy and money on your part.

Tune in to this episode of Uinfluence and hear Raphael break down the difference between what you think you want and you may actually need with marketing for your small business.

Every economic turmoil causes millions of businesses, as well as individuals, to pivot in order to create revenue. For some, it's to sustain the level of income they had before, while others grow their revenues exponentially while adjusting to a new industry or a new way of conducting business.

Those that fail to pivot on time get left behind only finding themselves starting from scratch.

COVID19 causes thousands of small businesses to close their doors forever, and it forced others to make adjustments in how they conduct their business.  Some of these adjustments came in the form of improvement, while others did not.

In this episode, Raphael goes through key elements of the importance to pivot within your business or profession in order to be victorious.

There is a big disconnect between what employers do to make the staff more happy and what the staff actually wants. For the most part, it is actually less expensive financially  to built and scale a healthy work culture than to provide the perks for the employees so they can feel "happy". Will it require more time and effort to build the right culture? Absolutely. Will it be cheaper than provide the perks? Yes, for the most part.

The research done by LinkedIn back in 2018 clearly shows that 66% of all job applicants want to know about the company's work culture during the recruiting/interview process while less than 7% of employers actually focus on culture development.

Culture development is sustainable, it increases retention, reduces cost of replacement, and increases productivity. All benefits that perks will not deliver if equally compared.

Check out this episode of Uinfluence to truly understand the difference between the two.

There are many components to every successful business, from recruiting to marketing, from sales to culture development, and everything in between. On this episode Raphael summarizes all essential ingredients to any successful business into three P's.

The three P's are:

Purpose - The purpose of a business, which includes vision and mission of the entity and it's leader.

Performance - Marketing, Sales, Recruiting, Hiring, Customer Service, Training, etc. all of which fall under the Performance in the three P's.

Profits - It's what takes care of everything necessary to keep the business running. Bedros Keuilian once said "Revenue feeds the ego, profits feed the family"

Although verbal communication only represents 7% of all our communication it is necessary to understand what attributes are most important to make that 7% as strong as possible. Knowing what to say is half the battle, but knowing HOW to say it is the other half. Almost anyone with verbal ability can get their message across but to have the most impact with significant influence it takes a certain skill, practiced skill, to get it done. Whether you're speaking to one person such as a friend, colleague, spouse, employer/employee or you're addressing a group of people in a boardroom, at a public event or anywhere else, there are words that may hinder your intended message causing others not to take you seriously. Words of weakness refer to terms and words that make your message sound weak hence making you sound uncertain and not serious.  When you master the art of certainty you will be seen as a stronger leader and influencer, which will make you more impactful with your message. It is easy to call someone a Real Estate mogul when the market is in your favor but not in Anthony Lolli's case. Anthony founded a Real Estate brand which turned into a franchise covering six states, nearly 100 offices and 1,000 agents, all over the span of nearly 20 years. Anthony recently sold his franchise to pursue other goals and projects. He also wrote a book called The Heart of The Deal which became an instant Amazon Best Seller. It's a great book and we highly recommend it. Anthony Lolli was featured on ABC News, CBS News, The New York Times, Huffington Post and many other notable channels and syndications. One of the most controversial and inspiring things you will hear in this interview is how the agents in Rapid Realty (Anthony's Real Estate Franchise) were so committed to the brand and what it stood for they began to tattoo the name of the brand on their bodies. Yes, permanent tattoos! Anthony Lolli, is an American favorite story. Real Estate mogul, Entrepreneur, Family Man, Investor, Philanthropist, Author and a great INFLUENCER.
