My Farming week finishes when Kieran O’Connor meets Edmond Phelan on his Beef and Tillage enterprise in Fenor, Tramore. Edmond is a successful Beef Farmer and is National President of the Irish Cattle and Sheep owners Association (ICSA).
Kieran visits the Kiersey family farm in Kilmacthomas where he meets Kevin, daughter Miriam and nephew Ivan who run two herds and a successful artisan Ice Cream business, Freezin' Friesian.
Bucks in Clonea are among the country’s biggest Strawberry growers. Kieran meets Michael Buck and his son Diarmuid who with Margaret Buck run one of the best fruit farms, Glen Fruits, in Ireland and supply many of Ireland’s major supermarkets.
