This week we talk about a demon that I have been dealing with since a teen, which is confidence. If you don't have it as a boy growing up then life can get complicated. Right now I believe the lack of confidence in our society is the reason we are seeing so many issues in our communities.
From a lack of positive male influences to an uptick in single-parent homes. I believe confidence is a key point.

What's popping JOTP nation?
I was actually on a little sabbatical or hiatus, but I felt really inspired by GOD to shoot this message out. I needed to show some love to the women in my life that really helped make me the man I am today. These women stayed on my ass as a boy growing into a man and helped me really establish my personality and learn to love myself for me. So it's only right to give them KUDOS here. They are fantastic women and I love them tremendously.
This week's lesson is about appreciating everyone for the good they brought into our lives and to stop focusing on the bad. Once again, there's enough hate to go around let's change that and get the love back!

This weekend let's spend some time saying thank you to our brothers and sisters that have passed. Become a stronger you and let go of these toxic vices (crutches).
No matter what you've been through in life you can get yourself out of it. I repeat that last point, YOU CAN GET YOURSELF OUT OF IT! Stop relying on vices to make you feel better or more confident instead find it within yourself. Trust me I know how hard it is to let these things go and look inward, but it's 100% worth it.

JOTP FAMILIA!!!!!!!!!!
We are either light sources or dark sources. As a light source, you will not be of the world. So in that regard, the world will not care for you and instead send endless amounts of hate and toxic energy your way. This is to get you to bend to the world's will and be like everyone else. Or to give up on your true calling/ purpose and become a crab in the bucket along with everyone else...
This message is to remind you to keep going and refuse to stop. When you start feeling this way this is a sign that you're walking in your purpose that the highest has put you on. Continue striving and taking one step at a time. You will find yourself in a better place as you ascend.
This week I give some advice and tools that the highest has blessed me with to feel confident in your armor and to continue to walk in your purpose with full ambition. Don't let the world shake you back into the dark!

What's up JOTP family,
Today I finally watched Poetic Justice as an adult. I remember seeing this movie as a kid, but obviously, I didn't have a full understanding of what was going on in the movie. Watching this as an adult really opened my mind up to the world we live in and being able to find genuine love. We have so many outside influences that want us to be this way or that way. So many people that are great at hiding their sinister ways. People are masters at playing the "long" game in order to get everything they need from you and leave. As sad as these things are, it's reality and that's why I harp so much on finding yourself first and God got the rest!
With all that being said my favorite Black love story is still Jason's Lyric... Maybe I'm just a sucka for Romeo and Juliet type of stuff. But then it has to be Love and basketball (Please don't remake this movie). Regardless it's always dope for the soul to take in these little love set's here and there and give ya man some hope!

I've always loved Dragonball Z and there has been a more profound love for it other than the fight scenes and character developments. It's because I see the relevance of Sayians in the association of African genocide and slavery portrayed throughout this show. Another powerful message that the highest gave me this week is tied to the music we intake. One of my favorite movies will ALWAY'S be White men can't jump for a multitude of reasons, but one always sticks out. A specific part where the two main characters were arguing about listening to Jimi Hendricks compared to hearing him and how much I can relate to this moment. There are so many times when I vibe to a certain artist or song and send it over to someone and they can't hear it. They listen to it and don't feel it because they can't hear it!
Today's message is all about learning how to stop listening and start HEARING the music. This ties in with so many aspects of life from listening to the highest (YAH), listening to God. or just listening to the wise heads trying to spread knowledge and love. We may be listening, but we are not HEARING it! As the saying stands, In one ear and out the other= Lost messages!

The injustices that happen in professional sports are disturbing, to say the least. To me, I don't understand how the best players in the league don't come together to make a change. Why does it take a mass outcry for any of them to stick up and stick out together? One of the hardest things we deal with in life is having to make sacrifices. Rather it's time, energy, items, ambitions, etc, somewhere at some time we all have to sacrifice something or we don't grow. We all try to avoid having to make sacrifices and give everything in our lives full attention. Unfortunately, the inevitable will always remain true, sacrifices are a must!
They usually stink at first, but then soon after, we start to see the beauty in them. As I've matured more I like to say, Sacrifice the now for a more successful future!
Sometimes it takes losing something precious we hold dear to us in order to get something even better in the future.
I've lost a lot of things in the past that I thought were a must-have. Things I was devoting most of my time and energy into because I "wanted it". Instead, life sent me a reality check and I learned what I really needed. Growth can be hindered by trying to avoid these sacrifices or holding on to things "WE want" and refusing to allow life to show us what we need. Rewards from these sacrifices can be from just becoming a better person, to realizing how abusive our relationship was with whatever was given up. So don't run from them and instead prepare for the excellence that will come from it!

Finally back with another from the heart episode to speak on all the senseless killing that has been going on since forever. Todays cast was fueled by the recent events that have went down in Kabul, Afghanistan over the last week. Where we lost 13 brave Hero's and I think it's time for us all to ask for what?
What is ever resolved when we kill someone else? A minor victory in the record books? An opportunity at some resources to hoard and make money off of? Oh I get it, the opportunity to play and use or shiny killing devices?
Are any of these things worth a human life?
Someone that could have brought beautiful changes to a world that needs more critical thinkers. Not trigger fingers. The killings have to stop and we can be the leaders in saying enough is enough.
Rest in love to all of fallen hero's and I wish for healing with their families and friends.

As Pippanaires we sometime have to end bad relationships, but this has to come with some kind of closure. For this week Episode my beautiful cousin Tiara, who is a great example of a Pippanaire joins the cast. She is author of a book series titled, Love letters to exes. We take a deep dive into her volume 1 book, which includes different letters sent to her from around the country helping others gain closure from past experiences.
The book is a beautiful journey that takes winds and spins around different types of love. Some more gentle letters and some that were telling it all. All names have been changed in order to keep a level of anonymity for the writers, but still made the senders feel great. You can pick up a copy of the book through Amazon web services and tune in before volume 2 releases.

We all have that one friend that isn't afraid to be themselves on social media, which makes for hilarious times. Well this guy is one of them. A good friend of mine from Ellsworth that has been in many battles with me on the field and off. It was great to actually pick his mind as a person and get to know him more for the dope person he his. This was a hilarious cast and I appreciate the honorable lord Snow for dropping by.

Pippanaires, a big part of spreading love is to understand how to deal with hate. It's not always about getting the upper hand, but at least coming to an agreement. ? No matter how nice we are as Pippanaires or genuine we are with others there are people that will hate us for being us. Unfortunately, sometimes that means you have to defend yourself physically, so I ask are you prepared for that moment? I believe that everyone should know in their own way how to defend themselves outside of using a weapon. Just learning how to throw a punch correctly can be the difference from you saving your life and maybe even others. Pippanaires don't be ashamed to go out and get some training. Rather it's some style of martial arts, boxing, etc go out and become a part of the bad ass club.
