Healing on Sabbath day
God is working
It is good to God's work on any day in particular on the day we have for rest from other labours.
This healing provokes first open hostility against Jesus.
Jesus responding to their question ... He equates HIMSELF with God.

Then Jesus calls on witness to affirm that He is equal with God:
John the Baptist testimony (the forerunner - who announced He who comes after me is greater)- people believed the message and in preparation to welcome the Messiah repented of their sin & got baptised.
The works/signs Jesus did TESTIFY. (Nicodemus believes that Jesus is able to do these works because He comes from God)

Today Mike spoke to us about the day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit came not to give us an "experience" or "good feeling" but to illuminate Jesus give us intimacy with Him and inspire us to preach the good news.
