Guyana recently presented arguments to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), saying it has jurisdiction to hear a case referred to it by the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Gutteres on the validity of the 1899 Arbitral Tribunal Award that settled the Guyana-Venezuela land boundary.
