Hi, I am Thira Kothari and I am Davina Agarwal. The sad truth is, half of us don’t even know what rape culture entails. All of the above mentioned situations are a part of this. Today, our topic of discussion concerns the fact that even after strict sexual harassment laws were written down in the books of our law and order after the Nirbhaya case, why do we still find a surge in rape cases every single day since then in our country? Why? We live in a country where godessess are idolised but where rape is so normalised. We hope that the future generations never feel the need to address issues like these. Once again, this is not an attack on men as a gender, but the rape culture as a whole

The name of our (Davina Agarwal and Thira Kothari) podcast is 8 MINUTES FOR OUR FUTURE. It has been 1 month since we started podcasting. This episode is in the form of scripted fiction. We present a story about Kashmir's ( a state in India) struggles. It's been 281 days since Kashmir went into an internet lockdown. Not being able to see their family's faces, not being able to meet their friends, not being able to work jobs for national companies. These are just some of the everyday struggles Kashmiri's face.
Today we have with us two very prominent and influential entrepreneurs with us, who have practically put Jaipur on the map. We are talking about none other than the owner of Amrapali Jewels- Mr. Tarang Arora and the owner of Pasha and the co-founder of Riviera Closet- Ms.Dia Ajmera. These designers have done it all. As for Mr Arora, his pieces were worn by Rihanna, Zendaya, all 3 Kardashian sisters and if one was inquisitive about the mark he has made in bollywood, then I have to mention that his jewellery has been adorned by Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bacchan and the list goes on and on. At the mere age of 20, this young and spirited woman, started her very own line. Ms.Ajmera has taken over the world of fashion. She has dressed some of the most eminent people in our country. From Raveena Tandon, Hina Khan, Neha Kakkar to Malaika Arora, Tanisha Mukherjee and Sunny Leone, she has surely created a name for herself from scratch.
